Cozybug Mod Recs: Horses

I just loooove to customize my horse! By year 2 they're my near-constant companion, so having them look cute is a must. Here are my three favorite mods to use for horse customization and improvement! All mods are 1.6 compatible on Nexusmods.

The Mane Event

This was my very first horse customization mod, and I still absolutely love the variety available!! I love that there are real-life breeds and pop culture horses available, for whatever type of farm you're building. I also like that there are presets if you're like me and get a little overwhelmed by all the customization options - but they're there if you want to make a specific horse! Also importantly, you can put hats on them.

Elle's Cuter Horses

I truly cannot overstate how much I love the entire Elle suite of mods! I know they're pretty well-known, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't use this horse re-skin in my last two farms. The animations are just adorable, and there are TONS of options to choose from. Not quite as granular as The Mane Event, but still very fun to customize with <3 Also you can put hats on them, which is v important to me.

Horse Overhaul

I know as Stardew players we've all been menaced by the fact that our horse simply cannot fit through seemingly normal gaps in the scenery. When I finally got tired of it I stumbled across this incredible mod, which actually does a whole host of things to your horse! Add saddlebags, friend your horse, make it fit through gaps, make it faster...this mod has it all! And it's all completely configurable so that you only get the changes you want. It's compatible with horse re-skins, and also with building re-skins IF you read the descriptions carefully. Always do that anyways though lol.

Why are clothes so expensive nowadays

It's so frustrating when only parts of my life is working out, if my studies are doing well my room would be in a filthy fucking state, id have overflowing laundry, dishes growing mold since i havents washed the for months. But if my room is clean and tidy then something stupid would happen in my social life and if my friends and i are getting along well then my studies would be awful i just need balance or some shit

I acted as a ghost in a haunted house and one of the task that i had was to hide under like a bunch of clothes, well these guys thought i was one of their member, rummaged through the clothes and saw my leg hair and went "this must be a guy" and im not saying anything but fuck... this is what it feels like to be misgendered? ya'll's gender identity is so valid im with you 100%

I fucking hate doing paperwork, if im involved in a program id prefer to be in charge of activity or protocol or some shit and not as su or anything involved with stupid kertas kerja it stresses me out sm. Like I literally cried tersedak2 because i couldn't delete the stupid fucking section page break wtvr from a letter that i was supposed to have sent out like days ago apparently and not 3 days before the program starts i hate it so much so so so much

listening to Matenrou Opera's latest album, from start to finish, there were a lot of songs i liked like from the top of my head i remember "Blood", yami wo hamu (my fav), that one song about snow but there were also songs i didnt really get from the first listen so idk ill try to listen to it again later

helping my cat Rayyyan who got sick and refused to eat, turns out he got blisters? i think is what it's called in english in his mouth but now ive fed him his meds and i forcefeed... (forcefed? idk) him, and he feels better enough to piss in my slippers :( it wasnt a tiny trinkle but like a fucking orange puddle,,, i love the old man but he makes me want to hit him with my slippers

Going out on dates with friends but I hate looking at my bank account after,,, maybe this whole lavish lifestyle isn't for me. I have to rethink actually going out and start buying cheaper alternatives to essentials but i think its a universal habit to lie to parents and say we eat enough/healthy lmfao

So many things have happened recently

I've started psychoanalysing myself and just trying to understand why i do what I do so I could avoid things like procrastination and like... running away from things

My allergy got worst my eye was swollen for like 2 days and the inner corner of my eye was enlarged? it covered part of my vision if i moved my eyeball a abit to the left (this was my right eye) and i could only sleep and hope it'd be better the next day, it didnt though and i had like eye poop? sleep crust thing idk in english but it's funny though i took a bunch of selfies

i got a tablet and started playing dress to impress and im so upset for the male/masc body because why the hell aren't the men able to wear the rest of the clothing articles like the women? im so upset like i have a vision and i want to execute it but i cant because the stupid masc body cant wear fucking heels its sooooo stupid wtf

Anywayss if you use a blue skin and choose the vitiligo option you can create a beautiful sky skin its honestly so pretty ive been playing with the patterns and like the plus button with the neon, denim wtvr option i love it i wish we could create our own object and bring it into the game idk because the props are so little like what if i want a boombox to go with the dancer option? or like add more jewelry because the option isn't much and i wish we could choose more than 1 colour for an object so the other colour isn't fixed also like i love taking photos during intermission it'd be great if there were a lot more background/backdrops...

Hey. Your brain needs to de-frag. Literally it needs you to sit there and space out.

If you want your memory or executive function to improve, stare out a window at the skyline or sidewalk or trees or birds on the electrical wires for like 20+ minutes per day. (With no other stimulation like a podcast or TV if you can manage but hey baby steps innit). If you're fortunate enough to have safe outside with any bits of nature, go stare closely at a 1 meter square of grass and trip out on the bugs and shapes of grasses and stuff.

Literally this will make you smarter. Our brains HAVE TO HAVE this zone out time to do important stuff behind the scenes. This does not happen during sleep, it's something else.

That weird pressurized feeling you get sometimes might be your brain on no defrag.

I've never been jealous over someone else's life before but...

I am exceptionally lucky in that my parents never hit me, grounded me, confiscated my things, banned me from my hobbies or threatened any of these actions to make me behave as a kid. as an adult it has made me realise how very very long a road most people have to traverse before they can take a statement like 'no rule that must be enforced by threat is legitimate' seriously.

just saw a really stupid post on tumblr where someone showed the prices of vegetables in china and how, when converted to US dollars, only costs a couple of cents, and the post was like, "ugh why must us americans suffer such high prices when the rest of the world doesn't !!!" and it's like. you are aware that you come from a country with an extremely strong currency, yes ? and that, just bc a loaf of bread costs R20 (or 1.06 USD) here in south africa, that doesn't make it affordable to the average working class south african, just bc it seems cheap to you, yes ? u are aware that many ppl around the world make wayyyyy less than even the minimum wage american, yes ? that, even though you may be struggling financially in ur country, ur dollar still has significant power over the majority of the currencies around the world. yes ?
