Everyone should have a place where they can feel safe. A place where it's okay to be themselves and let down their guard. Somewhere where they feel content and comfortable. When there they can feel themselves relax. Perhaps it's a house filled with the people they love. Or maybe, it's a small apartment with a cat. Maybe it's not even a permanent place. Maybe it's being held in the arms of the one person who means the world to them. Either way it is a place where the stresses of the world can melt away. A place they could spend hours or days in without ever wanting to leave because it is their space. It's this feeling of belonging that can't be found just anywhere. It builds up overtime until it's impossible to not think of it as yours. Even if they move and find a new place to make their own, the old place will still be with them. Those memories will never fade.
