he’s silent in response at first. it’s hard, looking at the woman he’s known as clarke griffin his whole life and accepting that while she is clarke she is also undeniably changed. of course his reaction would be that she was forced to change; that this title, wanheda , was more of a curse than a gift.  honestly even now he’s still trying to wrap his head around it. he swallowed the lump in his throat,  unsure if he truly wanted to know the answer to his next question. “ and how did you do that? ”

*note this is a brief episode by episode guide of where wells would have been. it is very general and things can still be plotted differently on a character by character basis !  

(edit: originally i planned to finish this and do it for every season but seeing as i haven’t updated this in months i’m just going to publish it as is and hopefully finish it over time if i resume my rewatch)

2.01  —   the 48

On the run and separated from Finn and Bellamy after the battle at the ship; it isn’t long before Wells finds himself a captive alongside them. When they are rescued by the team from the Ark there’s a moment of relief though it’s short lived when they discover what happened back at the landing ship. Concerned he only has one question: where have Clarke and the others been taken. When he sees Marcus and Abby’s behavior he starts to question if they are really there to help and when they reach the ark landing site he only has one question: where is his father?

2.02  — Inclement weather

Dealing with the news of his father’s sacrifice Wells finds himself struggling to compartmentalize his grief as they try to convince the Ark leadership that the others are in danger. With Bellamy remaining under arrest and his warnings about going into the woods going ignored, Wells loses more faith in Marcus. With no other option he appeals to Abby, telling her that Clarke is in danger and that she owes him one.

2.03  — Reapercussions

Choosing to stay behind as Bellamy, Finn, and the others go on their rescue mission; Wells tries to play diplomat. He tries to convey a message: they are not alone, and this is not their land but his message seems to fall on deaf ears. When a Grounder prisoner is brought in, he sees an opportunity for peaceful negotiation however before he can act on it Abby is arrested. Guilt builds as she says he had nothing to do with their escape and she is dealt her punishment. Wells becomes convinced Marcus needs to be removed from leadership. 

2.04  — Many Happy Returns

With tensions rise at the Ark camp as Wells begins to take things into his own hands. After stealing a private talk with the captured Grounder he begins to doubt that they are the ones behind the kidnapping of Clarke and the others. (...)
