Time to start shading, finally.

I’m sorry for the sudden disappearance, a lot went down in the past two months it’s crazy. But on a good note all that needs done is the shading and a bit of tweaking and I’ll finish this.

Phew! Finally had some time to make some progress on this. I finally completed a big bulk of my assignments so I had a quite a few hours of free time today.

The fun part begins...coloring!

I’m gonna make this piece as vividly colored as possible, so I’m gonna play around with some nice colors to create some contrast with that pink background.

Also I may do a few small drawings of Lucio and a few other characters, and I haven’t forgotten the line of action demonstration, I just need to get everything organized first!

I’ll be taking a break from this project for around 4 or 5 days and then resume it because of my trip, I’ll try to keep you guys entertained with smaller sketches and stuff though!

Lining! I’m going to have to do this in parts because it takes a ton of time, and this project might be two weeks because I will be leaving for a trip on Thursday! So bear with me!

Lucio’s Capoeira skin is one of my favorite aside from his Jazzy skin, but unfortunately I have neither because I haven’t had the chance to log on and kick off the Overwatch grind.

On another note, here’s the start of this week’s project!

I’ve been wanting to draw him all week and I decided to wait on it so I could go all out for this week. I already really happy with the outcome.

Now, here’s a bit of a tip!

Elasticity in your artwork is key to expressing true emotion. Decreasing your tenseness while drawing form can help give you the figure you strive for.

I may release a little visual demonstration of what I mean later this week, so keep in touch!

Final layer of gloss! My skateboard is ready to be back in action with a new paint job. This was a true learning experience, here are a few things I learned this week . . . Deviate from the plan but be prepared! Don’t rush your work, take your time and create a good piece.

Painted and glossed up! -but not done yet. I’ll be adding a logo in the center tomorrow to top it off! Then my board will be ready to roll. Now here’s something that I learned to help you guys! Don’t be afraid to experiment, blend, bolden, brighten, you name it!
