Constraints & Parenting in Maya
I was trying to think of phrases to remember the order of selection for these 2 ways of control in Maya. I could never get it right when I first started so...here goes. :)
Parenting = When a child needs a parent. (i.e. select child THEN parent)
Constraint = Parents with children on harnesses. (i.e. select parent THEN child)
