shedeur deserves a spot. i don't think he ever needed to be humbled, but i think it makes sense as to why he slid. he definitely should not have slid to the fourth round - i think that's related to his record in college. despite the talent he has, they don't see him as a "winner"

i disagree. but that's also my point: there is so much focus on sanders whether positive or negative it has taken over the entire draft.

also, personality issues are a real problem with him. the draft process was more difficult BECAUSE of himself, not anyone else

if his last name wasn't sanders, would these people be in such an uproar?

he has problems, he has character issues, other quarterbacks (baker mayfield, johnny manzel) were treated like the anti-christ for their behavior on the field, cockiness is constantly ridiculed. sanders deserves a spot on an nfl team, do not get me wrong, but it is nothing more than having all eyes on him strictly because of his last name versus the actual talent and character of him.

there are so so SO many quarterback/wide receiver duos that have burnt out and broken up in awful, heart wrenching ways. the way you would write sonnets and poems with how much they yearn for one another, how they look for each other in their new teammates.

then there's burrow and his two boys. higgins and chase, destined to stay together and the complete opposite of those duos. celebrate each other more than themselves, refused to be separated, clawed and begged the front office to keep them together. the way one would leave love notes on the counter every morning before leaving for work, the way you would sneak in strawberries cut into the shapes of hearts if you packed them lunch

the difference between "my receiver/quarterback" as possession vs. "my receiver/quarterback" as devotion

and people call them "best friends" btw
