"Wow that’s bright" is probably the #1 comment I get on my recent work, followed or preceded by "that’s colorful" which, yes, this wasn’t a vision test but I’m glad you can see it, don’t stare too long - by far the next most common is "Huh." This one squarely falls in all three

One of my favorite stories is an early meeting of Warhol and Basquiat:

Basquiat raced off with a Polaroid of himself and Warhol. As Warhol recounted in his diary, “within two hours a painting was back, still wet, of him and me together”

Sometimes this wet paint energy is just something you can’t resist - paint is wet but it’s done, you’re gonna love it
