“Poppy’s got her wings full with this one! When this little fledgling comes by for a visit, the poor bird nearly ends up losing her feathers because Daisy almost always ends up getting into mischief and giving her Aunt a terrible fright with her antics!”

A recurring character in the show Daisy is the exact opposite of her Aunt. Whereas Poppy is anxious and careful Daisy is a rambunctious, playful child who loves to stretch her wings and is often depicted in the show of having a reckless and adventurous side.

Because of Poppy’s fretful nature, she had a tendency to hover and be a little over protective of Daisy. She constantly worries about her niece especially as in the show and a few illustrated books, like most children her age Daisy had a knack for getting herself into trouble. Once she tried to teaching herself to fly by climbing on top of Home, thankfully Poppy was there to catch her in time. If Poppy had her way she would’ve wrapped Daisy up in bubble wrap and never let her outside of the house!

Through uncovered books and in the show we learn that Daisy lives with her mother in another town far away from the Neighbourhood and that she is related to Poppy through her mother Tulip Peartree who is Poppy’s sister! While Tulip has been mentioned and even given a voice over the phone she never fully debuted in the show. Even if she hasn’t been seen in live action, in one episode her appearance has been depicted in crayon drawings made by Daisy for ‘Mother’s Day’ during an arts and crafts segment, because of this the Restoration Team is eager to find if there are artworks or any books that may feature her. 

Although Daisy lives far away, she likes to travel to the Neighbourhood from time to time to visit her dear Aunt. While Poppy’s hovering tends to irk Daisy to no end she loves her Aunt very much and has a close relationship with her, the pair often bonding by cooking recipes together even if they sometimes end up in a disaster due to Daisy taking creative liberties to ‘spice them up’.
