PD OC MOSS(???) YIPPEEE!!!!

They work at a green house/flower shop, takes classes at their community college, and does vigilanting as a slight hobby :3.

They totally have nooooo trauma around their powers trying to eat them alive and is so physically healthy no chronic pain whatsoeverrrr from their powers trying to grow into their bones <3!!! (<- LYING)

Gnawing at the bars of my enclosed bc I finished my Moss drawing but my wifi SUCKSSSS BAH!!!

YEAH!!! Moss makes sure to keep up with trimming and grooming the plants that grow on them, but when they have a bad flare up day or have a stressful week it’s hard to keep the plants all over them from growing a bit out of control……. Def doesn’t help with the stress!!!

EHEHEHEHE!!! Luckily bc a lot of it was moss, which doesn’t have long roots whatsoever, they don’t have too many long lasting side effects…? The plants were still using them to grow, using their nutrients and energy to grow instead of letting Moss keep it to keep themself alive and okay. There were still some dandelions, grass, mushrooms here and there, who all were growing on them pretty steadily when they were found, which gives them more steady joint pain that is chronic (It also doesn’t help that some weeks they accidentally leave the plants to grow too much and it hurts when they finally deal with them) It would also be so silly if there was a couple of patches of moss that just won’t come off without taking the skin with it :) so Moss is just stuck with them :).

For mindset and thoughts when they were stuck, they were in a pretty dazed/dissociative state after a while, the plants taking over and not giving them enough energy to really dip into the ice cold panic they had when they first realized that they couldn’t move from their sitting spot leaning against a tree, that the moss around them was no longer a soft spot underneath them but was growing and spreading- that after a while of yelling and screaming for help they couldn’t keep their eyes open and their voice was too broken to continue… :)! There’s definitely a lotta fear of being alone afterwards bc if that happens again and they are alone then that would be it, they would die. Which!!! They totally thought it was over when they got stuck in that forest!!! They thought there was no way they were getting out of the forest after a day went by!!!

But nooo there’s totally no lasting side effects <3 they are just so silly and happy and there’s no issues at all <3!!!

Hmmmmm I had a very evil thought bc of your question……. First, there’s definitely a point of no return! When Moss’s joints won’t move and the plants roots have dug into their bones enough that they are just….. stuck. The roots too deep for just trimming to fix it and if they are caught off guard somewhere where there isn’t someone to stumble across them and saves them then they are gone! Bc they can’t trim themself at this stage ;).

The worse it has gotten is the evil thought one >:). Maybe Moss went off into the woods like they often do, except they haven’t been taking care of themself and everything hurts and sucks but being in the forest surrounded by the plants and trees and nature has always helped. To make a long story short bc I’m eepy and words are hard, Moss gets stuck in the woods barely able to move bc they have been ignoring the leaves and roots growing all over their body and after a day or two was found by a search party their small town sent out :D! That’s when they learn that they can’t just let their plants grow freely, bc in that case if the search party didn’t find them they wouldn’t be able to do anything as the forest around them makes them into another part of the forest floor <3. It was hard to spot them bc their mossy hair had blended in with the moss growing all over their body and clothes, the plants growth sped up when growing off of them :). Maybe this is also one of the reasons they moved to a city bc they won’t be able to just disappear into the woods never be found again :).

Everything that is growing off of Moss is connected to them, buried into their skin and continuing to grow until they cuts it off or uses it :). So if they just let the plants on them grow wild they’re gonna be in hella pain and eventually won’t be able to move their joints or limbs bc the plants roots will lock them up and make them stiff :)

But the plants need to grow!!! So lots of trimming and replanting and work with keeping the plants at bay and helping with major fights as a vigilante helps out a lot bc it’s an outlet :D!
