So this one is no. Was using another Cetaphil, so thought it might be safe since my usual was out of stock... I was wrong!
Got lots of little white heads all around my face. Started to get 1 deep pimple on my chin. My pores looked overall congested.
Bye to this moisturizer!

The eucerin cream gave me back moisturized skin for this cold season. ~1 week in using it, and no breakouts with it!

Well with the dryer air of the colder months I've had to adjust. Currentl routine:
Night:
1) cleansing balm
2) rose hips serum
3) vitamin c (every other night)
4) the ordinary face lotion
5) eucerin cream (just started today)
Day:
1-3) see 1, 2, 4 from night routine
4) caffeine under eye
5) hydrating under eye gel
Only issue with niacinemide was dryness, no pimple issues. Will try it again in more humid months. Will add eucerin to day routine as necessary.

Added the Ordinary Niacinamide into my routine.
Im going to stop using the blood mask for now. At some point I'll probably move the blood mask to every 1.5/2 weeks instead of once a week. My face has just felt too dry and started breaking out again.

Oof. These flash pictures of my side profiles are killing me 😟

Did the "blood" mask last night.
I think after trying the next 2 products I have, I am going to try to find a 2nd step cleanser to use after my balm cleanser. I got discouraged bc the ones I had tried just made my skin so dry/tight/itchy, which lead to more breakouts. So the search begins.

Took with flash also. Gonna keep doing this, it seems to show more (which i hate, but also more honest/accurate i think)
Overall being consistent, except one day over this weekend I didn't do my morning routine until ~5pm.

Logging the current products in my rotation. Its kept my acne under control and kept me *mostly* hydrated w/out *overclogging* my pores during the summer. Will have to adjust for the winter. Biggest skin saver overall has been the Balance (bow down to Katy Hearn & AlaniNu)
Currently added and testing the AHA/BHA peeling solution—the blood mask.

Breakouts on left cheek already cleared up! A couple lingering on the right cheekbone. Congestion on cheeks looks a lot better. Nothing new re: blackheads on nose, but haven't started anything new for that (soon tho!).

Night: 1) cleansing balm 2) herbal hydrating serum 3) vitamin c serum 4) blue hydrating serum 5) pimple patches
I popped 2 pimples and then used the patches
Day: 1) cleansing balm 2) herbal hydrating serum 3) caffeine eye serum 4) blue hydrating serum
Overall my skin is purging more on one side (I theorize PMS or the new mask), and the otherside looks v congested today. Doesn't feel dry, but feel like it is lacking some moisture.
