Synopsis: You take your favorite fanboy on Spring Break with you.

“I’ve never been to Mexico,” Eddie mumbled as he sat back in the comfortable lounge chair. “Let alone to an all inclusive resort with my own private pool.” 

You smiled at him, rummaging through your bag for your sunscreen. “Sorry,” you smiled, sitting on the chair next to him. “I prefer to have some privacy while I’m on vacation. Don’t get me wrong, I love my fans… but I’d rather sit and relax by the pool without signing autographs all day.”

You squirted some sunscreen into your hands before you began rubbing it all over your body. You started with your shoulders and arms before moving to your neck and chest; you made sure to rub the sunscreen underneath your bikini straps and under all parts of your bikini that could move throughout the day. Sunscreen was then rubbed into your stomach and legs, ensuring that you were covered and protected from the sun as much as you could be.

Eddie’s eyes wandered over your body—the skimpy pink two piece left nothing to the imagination. And yeah, he’s seen your body before but still, you never fail to amaze him with those curves. 

The way your hair looked perfect still despite being up in a loose and messy bun. The way your bikini was clinging to your body perfectly; your ass looked absolutely amazing in those bottoms and your breasts were looking extra perky and round in that top. The way your hands were roaming over your own body, rubbing in the sunscreen while giving Eddie a perfect show. He wished he was the one rubbing that sunscreen in for you but, god, watching your hands roam over your own body was enough to make him drool right then and there. Drool over you and pop a boner over the thought of your hands doing the same to him. 

You looked up at him and smiled, and he returned it, hoping you couldn’t read his mind. “Think you can get my back?” You asked, shifting to your stomach.

Eddie gulped and nodded, taking the sunscreen from you before he sat on the chair with you, sitting right next to your legs.

He squirted the sunscreen into his hands before he started to slowly and carefully rub the sunscreen into your back. His hands moved meticulously over the back of your shoulders, your upper back, your mid back (he made sure to get some sunscreen under your bikini strap so if it shifted, you wouldn’t get burned). His hands drifted lower and lower to your lower back, grazing over the hem of your bikini bottoms.

“Hm, that feels nice,” you hummed, closing your eyes as your cheek rested on your arms. “Really nice, thanks, Eddie.” 

“Any time, princess,” he smiled, sitting back up. He set the sunscreen down and took a seat back in the chair next to you, watching your sprawled out body lay in the sun for a bit, soaking up the warmth.

“Did you want any?” You asked, turning to him. “I can’t let you fry in the sun on day one,” you sat up and moved towards him, straddling his thighs. 

“Oh, uh, sure,” he muttered, hands moving to your hips to hold you in place. “Please.” 

Your hands got to work massaging the sunscreen into his skin. His neck, shoulders, chest, stomach; your fingers grazed over all of his skin gracefully. Eddie watched your fingers, mesmerized by the way they moved and touched his body. His swim shorts grew tighter as you leaned in more, putting sunscreen over his entire body for him. 

It was weird, he should feel like a child having you do this but, no. He felt alive and turned on. Your fingers ran over the tattoos on his chest, nails scratching and ghosting over the skin slightly as you looked up at him, smiling that adorable smile that still makes his heart melt to this day.

“There,” you said softly, leaning in to place a soft kiss on Eddie’s lips. “Now you shouldn’t burn too badly.” Eddie smiled, leaning in for another kiss after you had pulled away.

“Who cares if I burn,” he mumbled against your lips. “I have the perfect girl to nurse me back to health and rub aloe on my body all week long.” He grinned, pulling you closer to him. “The perfect girl to spend Spring Break with.”

“Is that so?” You giggled, wrapping your arms around his neck as you leaned in for another kiss on the lips. Eddie’s lips moved against yours, his hands moving up and down your sides slowly before they moved to your ass cheeks, squeezing them slightly. You gasped into the kiss, pulling away from it slightly with a small smirk on your lips. “Are you that needy?”

“You are in a bikini, sitting on my lap, absolutely glowing in the sunlight,” Eddie commented, squeezing your ass again before he leaned in, placing some soft kisses on your lips. “Of course I am that needy; look at you, princess. You’re perfect.”

“Look at me?” You giggled as he left kiss after kiss on your lips. “Look at you! My perfect little fanboy; you literally jumped on a plane with me to come to Mexico for a vacation… with no questions asked.”

“Yeah,” he smirked, groaning as you moved your hips slightly, rubbing against the erection in his swim trunks. “And I would do it again, no questions asked,” he added, grinding his hips up against yours. A small moan escaped your lips, your nails scratching down Eddie’s chest as his hands moved to your hips. “Mm, fuck, princess,” Eddie sighed, looking up at you with hazy eyes. “Have you ever had sex by a pool?” He asked, smirking as his hands squeezed your hips.

“I can’t say that I have,” you mumbled, leaning closer to him. “But, there’s a first time for everything, you know?” You smiled, kissing his lips again.

“Mhm,” Eddie mumbled, moving you against his body slightly. “Definitely.”

To OP's final point: wear sunglasses! The sun contributes greatly to cataracts and other eye problems in later life. This goes for brown eyed people who aren't as sensitive to light, just like sunscreen.

Some good sunscreens for people with darker skin tones, based on my own experience: Black Girl Sunscreen (also great if you're not a black girl lol), Sun Bum (the stick is wonderful, as are the hair products), No-Ad, Banana Boat (my favorite low-cost sunscreen! You can get the small one at Walmart in the travel section for $1.50)

I also like some specific sunscreens on my face like ETUDE Sunprise Mild Airy Finish (great as a primer! Does have a mild white cast), e.l.f. SKIN All Set For Sun (all time fave!) and e.l.f. SKIN Holy Hydration! Face Cream Broad Spectrum

Anyway I hope this helps! No matter what or who you need sunscreen and eye protection ✨☀️⛱️⛅ clouds don't block UV rays either, babies!

Here's some summer advice from a guy who worked in skincare:

-you need to wear sunscreen if youre going out in the sun. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. You don't need the expensive designer stuff but please just wear sun protection.

-you still need sunscreen if you are black or dark-skinned. Not only can you still sunburn, but direct UV light exposure also increases your risk of skin cancer, no matter how much melanin you have. There's tons of brands out there that are made for darker skin tones that don't leave that ashy finish behind, you just need to know the terms to look for. Look for the words "tinted, matte, mattifying," and shea butter-based sunscreens. There's also lots of brands that are formulated with your skin tone in mind. I don't have any to recommend unfortunately because I don't have experience needing that, but I know they are out there.

-if youre very hairy and cream sunscreens get caught in your body hair and glob up, get a spray sunscreen instead. It'll get in all the nooks and crannies instead of getting caught in your hair. Spray sunscreens are also good for those who have troubles with the effort and time it takes to put on sunscreen. Just make sure you spray it in a well ventilated area or, better yet, under cover outside, like on a porch or balcony.

-dont believe the fearmongering about chemical sunscreens. They're much more reliably protective than mineral sunscreens are. Thats because theyre chemically formulated in lab settings to be consistently protective and keep on shelves for long periods of time, while mineral sunscreens have a bad habit of ingredient separation and uneven formula mixes. Really, unless youre swimming directly in the great barrier reef or you have a specific skin condition or allergy to the ingredients in chemical sunscreens (the only customer i actually recommended our mineral sunscreen to over our chemical one was a regular who had skin cancer), you don't need a mineral sunscreen. Your wallet will also suffer less.

-you might have to double cleanse in the shower to get all sunscreen residue off your skin. Thats a good thing actually, it means your sunscreen is really good at barrier protection, but its also annoying. The way to do this without drying out your skin too much is by doing one quick cleanse of your skin with about half the soap you's typically use just to loosen up that residue and dirt, and then another deep, proper clean like you usually would that will get it all off. While leftover residue isn't really a health risk at all, it can clog your pores over time and cause uncomfortable acne breakouts, as well as trap dust and dirt under all the gunk. It can also get on your bedsheets.

-if you double cleanse, I recommend moisturizing after because it does dry you out a bit. You don't need a big fancy designer moisturizer either, just go to the drug store and get their basic pump bottle of body lotion, and separate facial moisturizer (the separation matters, the skin on your face is a lot more thin and delicate than the skin on your body). The main thing you want to look for with any product is that you arent allergic or sensitive to the active ingredients and avoid anything that uses alcohol as a binding ingredient.

-hats, hats, hats!! They keep the sun out of your eyes and your face!! You cant put sunscreen on your eyeballs!! Wear hats!!

-go have fun!! You can have your beach days and sun fun without cancer risks!!

I have figured out how to use sunscreen as someone who genuinely hates the feeling 🌝

This is gonna sound hella extra but I can do it pretty cheaply so somehow it works out.

You need at minimum 2 different sunscreen strengths. For high UV and low UV. From there if you are a very active person you may want water resistent. Or if you want lazy reapplication a sunscreen stick/sunscreen powder. SPF makeup etc. I use spf 15 and 50.

Check the UV index for the week and the day and the peak times. Don’t be outside at peak times if possible. Now look at your schedule - when are you out and about and where will you be? Are you in the hot sun for more than 15 min?? It can be an extremely sunny day but if you spend 90% of it indoors and not pressed against a window you probably only need spf 15. And if it’s in a moisturiser it’s so much more bearable!

Cover up over smearing up. Get some breathable athletic wear and toss it on. The move coverage the less gross sunscreen. Which is also polite bcs the amount of bus seats and general seats I’ve seen ruined by sunscreen when people sit down with their bare legs is…it’s too many really🌝

Don’t touch your face. Or neck. Don’t!!!! Seriously. Just avoid.

SPF lip balm over a hydrating layer. That dry balm on dry lips sucks. Bcs it protects and just doesn’t tend to hydrate.

Fingerless gloves so you don’t need spf on your hands - it feels gross!!

(You can use spf lip balm on your finger tops if you don’t have a sunscreen stick or something - it’s cheaper usually more hydrating and feels basically the same - and it doesn’t get on your palms😌)

Try men’s spf and men’s spf moisturisers - usually cheaper and don’t tend to smell like the stereotype of “MAN🦅”. And feel better sometimes.

Reduce other over stimulants! Get cooling sheets, always have a cold drink, wear an anti-perspirant, bring (UV PROTECTED) sunglasses (the bigger the better btw more coverage of that very sensitive skin and my very sensitive brain), carry a fan, have an easy but good covering hat, plan around cafes and cooling spots and temperatures, on the hottest days don’t go to the busiest places. Etc.

Own curtains. Close them. There is nothing wrong with saving your mental energy by avoiding the sun😂

This isn’t a tolerance aid BUT DONT GO IB THE OCEAN WITH SUNSCREEN ON YOUR BODY UNLESS YOU WANT THE OCEAN TO DIE. Even reef-safe (like non-nano zinc oxide) sunscreens aren’t actually reef safe! Get a sun-guard swim top (which you can also wear during the day and is super comfy and breathable) and stay in the shade. If you wear sunscreen on the face - don’t dive!!!! People love to say “oh it’s just me” ITS NOT. THATS LITERALLY THE PROBLEM. EVERY SAND GRAIN ADDS UP TO A BEACH - DONT BE A SAND GRAIN. Thank you. And make sure no one you know is doing the same. 💓

SPF stick on patches are not sensory friendly for me. They feel like a good idea but it’s like constantly having a loose bandaid or pasty on your body. Not fun. Also the non-reusable ones are expensive, lost and lost of plastic. I will say - (that as long as you don’t lose it in the water) it may be your best option for swimming as it’s not a cream that can wash off.

Shawls!! Breathable shawls. I put them in my hat and tie them around my head like an old German grandma and it’s great. This helps me avoid having to reapply so often and it keeps my hat sweat free✨

Everyone forgets sunscreen on their feet. But you need to protect your feet! I wear breathable sneakers and cotton socks. Gif the beach I risk it. There are swim shoes but I hate them so I burry my feet into the sand and risk it.

Clothing is a complicated one for colors! I don’t wear white unless it’s a soft white. Bcs the glare is vile and reflects the UV right into your face. Soft pastels or multi patterned mix of colours is the best in my opinion. To keep away the heat. Also cotton/old linen are my favourite materials for it.

You can get burned through many different materials!! This includes jeans and ESPECIALLY tights. So even when covered - go to the shade. And if you like tights - find ones with spf OR athletic leggings are superb for summer! They look so good on pretty much anyone with a baggy top and maybe some over-shorts for personal comfort. And it’s so lazy. And I love lazy.

MINI SKIN CANCER PSA: you can get it anywhere. And I literally mean anywhere. Under your nails, in your eyes, in your hair-line. It’s most common in the ears, feet, back of neck, head and back. (The places hard to check or reach). I grew up in a hot sunny climate and hated sunscreen so don’t let this fact scare the shit out of you; I have a few moles under medical examination. Ones the doctors have concern over but not enough to cut out. And I’m young. For your peace of mind; you need to have someone check you and take photos for you once a month. Preparation prevents mental devastation. Just like with breast cancer - just getting used to your normal and keeping an eye on it will make both diagnosis easier but also much easier to have peace of mind! Trust me💓

(I use Nivea men’s moisturiser with spf and garnier invisible serum spf 50. The latter STINKS but it’s cheap and lightweight and the cost doesn’t usually tripple every summer unlike biore or any Korean brand or that orange rich person one I forget the name of . For the body I like Bondi sands or alba botanica spf 45 - they don’t feel amazing but it’s the best and most affordable so far for me. The latter of which is not easy to get in the UK. Bondi is also the one I recommend to anyone who doesn’t have a lot of sensitivities bcs it’s very affordable, very effective and actually doesn’t feel the worst. I also use spf powder on my hair-line and my boyfriend’s beard.)

jj turns to look at you smiling, taking the sticky sunscreen bottle from you. "of course, looks like you depend on me for everything, huh?" he smirks into the end of his sentence, moving closer to you with every word.

you scoff at the cockiness hes displaying, twisting your body so he could reach your lower back where the sunscreen needed to be applied

he was loving this right now, and you could tell by the way he was beaming with glory once he realized what was happening.

you spin around and your eyes lock with his as hes about to begin the application,"jj. be serious, its just sunscreen"

he scoffs. apalled you would even think of him as unserious, i mean, when has he ever displayed immaturity?
