I watched a documentary on sugar today and it said that only one study ever showed that artificial sweeteners causes bladder cancer in rats and no similar findings have ever been found in humans. The scientist they interviewed even said that they weren't that bad for you.
It's from the explained series on Netflix. Episode is called sugar.
