Well, probably because Elena kept being a gremlin flirt to Heinrix

This is an older design of Elena, by the way, back when psykers were still in just bodygloves :p I gave her a tabard-hood on top. Her head augmetics design remain the same

Decided to post on my main acc instead lmao

My biomancer psyker Rogue Trader, Elena von Valancius.

Formerly an Inquisition acolyte, she started out in Ordo Hereticus as a sanctioned psyker, until her master was killed in a joint mission with another Inquisitor, and he took her into his retinue in Ordo Malleus.

However, as years went by, she got in trouble with her master and he wanted to be rid of her in a... subtler manner. Coincidentally, Theodora laid her claim on her, and so Elena was shipped off to the Rogue Trader's retinue.

And now here she is, a Rogue Trader herself, free to chart her own path instead of getting thrown around from place to place.

Still. Seems she can't escape the Inquisition anyway, for fate brought her to meet Heinrix van Calox, an Ordo Xenos Interrogator.

(She jokes it's like she's collecting all three major ordos)

Meanwhile Heinrix is doing some training, knowing that he is the one who has to carry my whole party on his shoulders for the entirety of the game xD

Edgin is no rogue in my eyes. He doesn't really sneak, doesn't skillmonkey his way out of situations, and he talks waaayy too much for a rogue.

He's the party face. He inspires his party members, shouts encouragement at them, gives them pep-talk. His greatest weapon is his talk-no-jutsu. That's a bard, alright.

The player just forgot to put their spells in! Or like some of my players, they forgot they even had a spell tab lmao

Her eyes find an all-too-familiar face across the ballroom - an aged elven lord in decadent robes, scowling and scrutinizing everything before him like always. It was none other than her uncle, her cruel uncle, Daraven Arvelthian. A chill runs up her spine as his gaze meets hers, and she breaks the eye contact before he could realize who she is, only for her to bump into another man. Another familiar presence, perhaps slightly more welcoming. "Astarion-!" Astarion pulls her closer to him, an arm encircling her waist. "You look worried, darling," he smiles mockingly, though there is a tinge of sympathy there, in his eyes. "Haven't I promised I'd help you deal with him?" Elora lets out a bated breath. "I-I know...," she looks down to the marble floor, pursing her lips. She meets him in the eyes again and his gaze softens. Perhaps there is still a heart within him indeed. "I'm just... not sure I'm ready to face him." He gives her a soft smile, with more gentleness than ever before. "Relax, my dear. I'm sure you will, in time. You helped me face Cazador, after all," he tilts her chin up. "You know that is different," she protests. "Is it?" She sighs in defeat. "Very well," she places a hand on his chest. There is no heartbeat there, and yet she feels as if warmth is radiating from him. Astarion smiles again. "Now let's just enjoy the gala, shall we? The Volta is coming up next, and I would hate to miss it." She cannot help but let out a chuckle. "You really do miss dancing, don't you?" "Clever little bird," he grins, his fangs glinting beneath the chandelier light. "Indulge me, will you?" "Gladly." ------------- A bit of a.. happy ending what-if to my high elf bard PC, Elora Arvelthian (Elora Argyre in original setting), romancing Astarion in Baldur's Gate 3 :")) I'm not sure we'll get to cure him of his vampirism but ya know... I really hope we do get to kill Cazador and well, lead Astarion down a better path.
