The Sanmos Shimeji!

I finally got them done (after about a year).

I tried to make them actually fun and interesting to catch glimpses of as you work or do whatever, so they have idle animations, a bunch of free actions and can even hug eachother!

Keep in mind these shimeji do not multiply and I wouldn't advise forcing them to. (Not for any dire reason, just the hugging animation doesn't account for two Deimos and vice versa.) So yeah, only one Sanford and Deimos. Other shimeji are fine though, they don't interfere with any coding. Also, they're PC only, due to their unique coding.

They work just as fine alone as they do together, they just look way more sad and pathetic when seeking affection.

Extra info after the cut-

First of all, of course, why'd it take so long?

I hated the original artstyles I tried to do for em. The stress style just didn't work for the shimeji and neither did my more uh... Madness-Similar style? (It looked like fuckin GoAnimate and not in any way a good way). Also as you can tell I uh, kinda wasn't as hyper fixated on MadCom for a bit, so I didn't have much motivation to finish em. That changed like a month or two ago, so I got em done.

Why this style? And why are they colored like that?

They're chibi-ish to make em cute cause admit it, no one thinks the actual Madness Combat style is cute, it's not supposed to be. Literally no one draws it accurate to the original style unless it's for an animation or it's supposed to be gritty, like the original. The colors are just from a palette that I fell in love with IRL so I translated it to the ~digital world~. And they're pixelated, cause frankly that's way easier than all that Photoshop and whatever shenanigans I was trying to do before.

Why do they actually hug so rarely?

Cause they have to align their thoughts and work in unison and frankly, these two men aren't as capable of that as the originals. You gotta admit, they do still hug way more than canon Sanford and Deimos.

Rummage through the image folder if you so desperately wanna know, I'm opting to keep it a surprise. Ya know, cause then it's more fun to find out naturally?
