It is once again the 17th of june so we're celebrating our independence here in Iceland! And so I'm writing a sequel to this post :) more fun facts about iceland!🇮🇸🇮🇸🇮🇸

Icelandic is a very old language that's gone through very few change over the past thousand years so we can fairly easily read all of our old scripts. Unlike Norwegians who's language has evolved much more but WE can still read THEIR scripts because icelandic is essentially old norse when u think about it

In 1963 the ocean spat out Surtsey due to an underwater volcanic eruption, its located off the southern coast of Iceland and is the worlds youngest island thus far. This is also how Iceland itself came to be around 20 million years ago, through a series of eruptions in the mid-atlantic ridge

She can make you a sandwich AND be a feminist! Girl power!

What, are you saying women HAVE to do boy things to be taken seriously? Who are you to tell a woman what to do? Maybe some women NEED to get their hair and nails done twice a month to feel powerful! Maybe a lot of women WANT to be stay-at-home moms!

What I don’t think you understand is that women have an inherent feminine spirituality which guides them towards maternal and nurturing paths. Women need to honour their divine female aura to keep their. Their fuckin. Their chakras together or some shit. You should put quartz up your hooha and huff wheatgrass.
