zorro was born with a twin sister, zoe, but due to a rare heart condition zorro died as a toddler. their mother, a witch named amelia, was stricken with crippling grief at this loss.

for many years their father, a carpenter named cornelius, slaved in the woodshop away from his family. he was building the tribute to zorro, and on zoe's 18th birthday it was finished. zoe was unsure what to think, but amelia sobbed and hugged the doll, longing for her son to be alive. this is when she accidentally cast a spell on the doll, bringing him to life (sort of)

zorro's "heart" was made up of one of zoe's childhood music boxes, and when the spell was cast on zorro the ballerina inside the box began to dance and play a faint melody. if it were ever to stop, zorro would die. the music box makes up the small amount of personality zorro has, and he is very attached to zoe. they are inseparable, and after the awkward phase of having a brother again, zoe relied on zorro for company and brought him everywhere

zorro loves zoe (platonically) with all his heart and will do anything for her. he also is a natural at ballet, and brings a cello everywhere which he plays for her. one day zoe hopes to find a more powerful magic to turn him fully human and give him a voice and free spirit

hey guys, i feel kinda guilty about this but my job has cut my hours really badly so i could really benefit from getting some commissions

im making less than HALF my rent per paycheck and ive started digging into my savings to pay for rent, medical bills, car insurance, phone bill, and food

otto was born on the halloween of 1981 along with her twin sister lapis

when lapis started her band, Naughty Strawberries, the two started to mature and grow peacefully distant while they explored their own things. otto loved fashion and travel, and one day started a blog trying foods and clothes from around the Nation of Hatsu

after 2 years of traveling the world and blogging, lapis' band started to take off and otto returned to Yokio City to support their sister. otto took the role of advertising for the band creating merchandise. otto and lapis grew very close once more after otto's return. now, otto finds it hard to continue traveling after making new friends and seeing their sister thrive.

after settling back in Yokio otto took up modeling in their freetime as she still had a passion for fashion, which aided in her popularity. otto has their own sense of style, but they also model some of their parents' custom clothing sold at Magnolia Boutique

Q: how long does each drawing take?

A: the entire process should take 1-2 days maximum, exceptions may happen. Expect an extra day for complicated designs

Q: how many revisions do i get?

A: 2-3. first is any revisions to the sketch, second is any revisions to the colors, and third is any touch ups after rendering

Q: how do you feel about tips?

A: tips are not necessary at all, but greatly appreciated!

Q: do i have to post the commission/do you always post the commission?

A: nope! if you don't want the art to see the light if day i respect that and i always ask before posting
