I just love how every Reel from this drama gets honest reviews from everyone.
I feel extremely disappointed, as I had so much hope given the two talented male leads but it's all in vain.
Tae Ho's character just doesn't make sense. He has been living with this dream to make his bestie the owner of this Chaebol group... with no good reason!!! Why?!!? Make Tae Ho a gay so I understand this ultra strong passion, make it make sense. He himself has no direct vendetta against this family or the Chairman. Just his friend has to be the owner, somehow.
And his friend!! What's wrong with this dude!!?? You have got such a foolishly dedicated bestie whose entire existence is to make your dream come true. Nothing else, but a harmless person. But then you had to ruin it all for a girl, who you don't even love. What!! And they never established that In Ha doesn't like peace in Tae Ho's life. Suddenly, he wants to snatch away the one thing or a person Tae Ho desires for himself. In Ha's character just changes into an A-hole one fine day. No reason.
And after all that, Tae Ho is still hell bent on making his homie's wife the next owner. Like, wait. Dude! First, get some help. You are in the prison for double homicide. High profile case, nobody is bailing you out of this shit show. What are you even talking about?!
Even if he is THAT confident to make this robotic bitch the next owner, then why does not he use this genius brain of his to be the owner himself. Or just forget this damn family and leave their business, build his own empire. He can, because that's what they have been telling us. Why only this specific family business he wants to ruin?!
The SK police who really love to nab junkies, should look into the writer team of this drama. They have got their hands on some real good stuff. Otherwise this BS plot doesn't make sense.
There are more than one character who is sick. The Grandpa could have anything else than sickness, if his sickness was required for the ML to be married. He is a Grandpa, he could just be emotionally blackmailing, to make him get married. Trust me, it works in Asian families. Grandkids have no choice but to surrender.
They have repeated the same method (accidental fall) of skinship twice, in the same freaking life!! I would have pardoned if one fall was a flashback from her previous life and another was from 2023.
They keep repeating dialogues from her previous life and the current one, quite convenient. When she hardly spent any time with her husband in Joseon. They didn't even have one proper conversation. What's there to even remember or get nostalgic about. 馃檮
What's this poor people's behavior in this Chaebol's family!! His grandpa is sick, he is sick, and none of them wants to seek medical help. What!!
And that's ALL his life's hardship put together. Ugh! Rich and privileged pretending to be sad, is so hard to watch.
Put everything on hold, and listen to your freaking doctor. You have got lawyers for that reason, they can find all the legal ways to protect your business in your absence.
Like, seriously, how is the audience supposed to pardon this rich and 2023 guy who is keeping his sickness prolonged for no good reason.
Writers and Directors must stop using male sexual harassment for comedy. It's not funny and has to be called out what it is.
Jin Young being approached in a sleazy way, not by just one but by two female characters, was quite an uncomfortable watch...and it was downplayed to create humor that was problematic AF.
Popculture Detective on YT explains it better. https://youtu.be/9nheskbsU5g?si=VblAdHTA838LQjBW
Hmm...can't really say if the story moved any further. The audience is kept as clueless as we were in season 1. Instead of locked in an apartment building, we have these survivors struggling in a stadium's basement. Plus, this time our main protagonist is far from this bunch of people. Quite disconnected to keep us hooked. We kept losing the core bunch of Green Apartment residents who were kind of keeping it together for us.
There's hardly any moving story amongst the stadium people that could keep us attached throughout season 2.
We still don't know much about this strange epidemic. No progress on that front. Who was behind this, who started it?
Thanks to the Crow platoon for being so hot and wholesome. They made it possible to pull through the 8 episodes.
As a fellow Korean show viewer, I am trying to maintain a fan account for my favorite celebrity but I am having a hard time editing videos of him. Can you help me by telling me screen recording software for free so I can capture the videos of his shows ?
Hey! If you have an Android phone, there are several screen recording apps available. Try a few, some of them may leave a watermark, some won't. Mostly, they're free. Just Google and you should get some recommendations. Go by the reviews to shortlist them.
Just watched Rocky-Rani and whatever it goes like.
Seems a bit dripped in elitism when Karan badly wanted to market it as a 'massy' film. 馃檮
Apart from missing the unusual antics of Rocky, in one entire song, there was nothing shown that made Rani propose to him in a condescending way. Girl! What makes you love him, despite having Exes who are looking for the cure for cancer...!!??
...and who was supposed to heal the Dadi Maa!! She witnessed her husband slipping away in a hobby and cheating on her. The lady had no choice but to be a rock that she was. Surely could have been progressive and may be not that rock-solid.
Karan made her the villain because she was easy to hate on...all the while she was seeking for a closure and an apology. Cheating is never okay. Being irresponsible to your wife and kid is never okay.
Eun Gyeol is all smart and crafty to navigate in the past...trying to change the future but then they had to ruin it all because of a product placement.
He had too many chances to notice that something is off about Sae Kyung, the airpod was a good save.
But then, the luggage tag had a different name!! Even if he ignored that because of all the sentiments he was overwhelmed with while getting down from the cab. But he was the one who took her suitcase upstairs, and had all the time to notice it again.
Plus, the medicine bottle must have the manufacturing and expiry dates from 2023. Please?
But, no we all have to wait till they show off their huge ass Samsung phones.
Eun Geol is supposed to treat his parents in their teen-selfs as his friends. But then, there are a few moments, he can't help himself but be the kid that he is.
You can see that effortless transition he did when he was pleading his 'mom' to forgive him, in front of their school. He bent down to reach her height, with all the innocence in his eyes, knowing for sure his mother can't stay mad for long.
Then, the same helpless kid we see again, when he hugged desperately his 'dad' after he pulled him out to the shore. He did give him a bit of a sassy response when Yi Chan got him a hot coffee, as a teen would do to his friend.
These very minute transitions are done so smoothly. Just top notch performance.
