I received the nicest comment on By Selûne’s Grace a few weeks ago and it legit made me so happy, especially since at that time the story was receiving fewer comments than before. It truly made my day 🤍🤍
People used to comment on web comics.
People used to comment on fanfiction.
People used to comment on fanart.
People used to comment on OCs.
I hate "content" culture.
I hate "consuming content" and scrolling immediately to the next thing.
People used to be excited about the art that other people created.
People used to want to share that excitement with creators.
I struggle with this while writing By Selûne’s Grace 😂
writing something with two characters who use the same pronouns and fighting to balance using names vs using pronouns in a way that's both smooth to read and easy to comprehend
I’m thankful for every comment I get on By Selûne’s Grace, I tend to reply after I post a new chapter to interact and build engagement with my audience to show my appreciation. While I do think it makes the comment count inaccurate, I’m not too bothered by it.
Help me solve something I overthink about way too much when it comes to my fics
Lil’ 7 year old gremlin Shadowheart doodle i drew, based on a scene in my fanfic “By Selûne’s Grace” 😂
“She and her fellow patrons of Selûne sweep the Sharran hideout, eventually discovering the girl in a small bedroom. The half elven child is wearing a purple tunic with black trousers, her raven black hair tied back in a braid, emerald green eyes glaring at them angrily as she rushes at them with a knife.”
Seriously people the lack of fandom interaction these days makes me genuinely depressed, it never used to be like this, makes me wonder what's the point of coming online to do anything anymore.
