how it feels like when you start yapping about an obscure movie that maybe 5 people have watched but it has burrowed so deep in your brain you can’t stop

"you can't call people eggs because some have internalized bigotries and they will push themselves further into the closet" personally i think it's good to force others to face their bigotries

By the way "some aroace people still date and have sex" and "it's weird how internet spaces makes every single aroace character romance and sex favourable" can and should co-exist. Sincerely, an aroace person

That was my regret with Tempest, I love her sooooo much but I felt like she wasn't interesting at all besides being Turbo's twin (and i think maybe it's not just me that feels this way with her lol), not to mention that I didn't even think about what her relationship with Fajita would be like and she was stupidly egdy...
Although I made a lot of changes in her story to not be exaggerated or meaningless, I still feel like I need to fix a lot of things about her, I'm planning developing deeper into both her and Damian's lore (mainly Damian cuz i want that guy be more than "Tempest's boyfriend")
Opinion that maybe is not unpopular, but making a character with a tragic backstory is not necessarily bad.
Yeah it's cliche? Sure, but not necessarily bad, I think many ppl get that reaction because many of that backstories are really poorly written. The impacts on the characters are almost zero, as if nothing had ever happened to them (ex: a person lost their partner in a war but somehow they are fine and their emotional are intact). Not saying they need to live 100% of time of their lifes in misery, but you get what I mean.

If you were to tell a lesbian that she's not really a lesbian because at some point she dated a man, that would be insulting.
If you were to tell a gay man that he's not really gay because for a while he thought about being in a relationship with a woman, that would be insulting.
If you were to tell a bi person they're not really bi because they haven't been with more than one gender and secretly they're one or the other, that would be insulting.
If you were to tell a lavender couple that their identities aren't valid because they've chosen to settle, for whatever reason, in a het relationship, that would be insulting.
So when you tell us that aces who fuck aren't aces, it's insulting. When you tell us that aros who get into romantic relationships aren't aros, you're insulting.
It's called exclusionism and if you think you aren't an exclusionist because you're lgbtq but you're spouting this shit, guess what, you are.

hot take that shouldn’t be hot:
asexual/aromantic/aspec people who are also cis and straight should be welcomed and accepted in the queer community
