Callum was a good guy, clean and tidy and mostly kept to himself - plus he wasn’t a terrible thing to look at first thing in the morning as they wallowed over coffee and breakfast and mourned the day ahead. Tall, and broad, and dark swooping hair with an arse that looked good in anything. 

(Ben might have a small, tiny, practically nonexistent crush on his straight roommate. It’s nothing, really.)

It’s been so good knowing there was a new long fic every day - although my productivity at [home]work took a big hit!

Or: Ben is a gangster’s son. Callum is an almost police officer who could save him. Or maybe the saving is mutual.
