People who unironically think Jack was a good guy are cringe for many reasons but one is just. A complete lack of self awareness.

Yes, he wants to kill all the bandits. Who are allegedly the reason Pandora is ruined (it's not).

Except that, guess who introduced bandits to Pandora?

Dahl. A fellow corporation. But instead of taking the offloading slaves on a backwater for the purposes of resource extraction to the people who did it, he attacks the slaves.

Hm this certainly has no parallels to real life whatsoever. Surely there has never been a real life situation where an inhabited place was purposefully colonized and destabilized for the sake of profit, and then the inhabitants were the ones blamed and attacked and othered. Surely.
