I really like the idea that Viktor and Jayce did not annihilate, but simply teleported to another world. To be honest, this was my very first version when I watched the second season and even the creators’ statement did not convince me at all. They are my favorites and I want to think about how they woke up in shock in the middle of a beautiful field, the same one that Viktor the sorcerer carried little Jayce to.

And maybe there, in a valley surrounded by mountains, there is a small house near the river. Simple furniture, simple food, which they would earn in the neighboring village by making useful improvements, and a lot of time to think and to be happy together.

I like to think that Viktor's illness (I wonder if it was tuberculosis of the lungs and bones?), Jayce's injury, and that beautiful hex leprosy have disappeared. They have healthy bodies now, but Viktor's fingerprints on Jayce's forehead and their glowing hair remain.
