This is Me (TIM) - Chapter Update

Pairing: Radioapple Rating: M

HIPS Summary: Lucifer is asked to leave the hotel. In a bid to still help Charlie, he rejoins, disguised as a deer sinner. Slowburn story full of romance and heartache between Alastor and Lucifer. Rating for spicy chapters, attempted non con, and mentions of self-harm.

TIM Summary: Following on from the reveal of Lucifer's true identity. He's slowly recovering from his wounds, and has to come up with a plan of action for how he's going to tackle the discord in Hell.

TIM Chapter 13 Summary: Lucifer and the Sins are shut away in the conference room, while Lucifer shares all of his news with them. Let's spend the day with Alastor and see what he's up to.

“I have met a few overlords who might do just that. I certainly wouldn’t have you walk the streets of Pride without an appropriately armed companion. Luckily for you, Angel is rather apt at gunmanship.” 

Fizzy laughed at the mental image. While amusing, he could actually picture it perfectly; he knew that looks could be deceiving, especially in Pride.

“What’s that?” Angel peeked his head around the corner, shit eating grin on his face. “Did ya just compliment me? And you ain’t even being held at knifepoint?”

Alastor bristled at being caught out.

My favourite part of this chapter was actually sharing some of my own thoughts on how the Sins recognise each other.

“Did ya have to rile him up so much?” Angel asked, covering where Lucifer presumed his nose to be. “Brimstone ain’t exactly the best scent for a hotel.”

“I didn’t rile him up… I mean, I did.” Lucifer shook his head, struggling to explain himself. “Look, when you meet a Sin, the respectful thing to do is to allow them a burst of power. With Satan, it’s bringing out his Wrath. With Mammon, it would be appeasing his Greed. Hell, when Ozzie arrives, we’re gonna flirt like we aren’t both in a committed relationship. It’s just what you do with a Sin. The same way that Satan jabbed at my pride. I guess you could think of it like a secret handshake? Making sure they are who they say they are, and not an impersonator.”

“So you and Satan won’t be at each other's throats for the next two days?”

“No. You’ll see when he returns later to meet the others. Now that he’s here, I have his power signature tracked, just as he has mine. We’ll be well aware if anyone tries to switch out. You mortals think of people as singular, but us Sins, we’re energies. It’s so easy to transform one’s appearance when you know how. Energies, though, are impossible to mimic.”

Lucifer laughed as he was put down again, Ozzie giving him the once-over again. Then he motioned to the side with his arms wide, introducing the small imp with a burst of confetti. 

Alastor’s ears twitched as it landed throughout the lobby, trying his best to keep calm at the sudden mess. Then he noticed the confetti was in the shape of penises, and he felt his eye twitch in annoyance. He would be cleaning this up for weeks.

“This is Fizzy, my little Froggie.” Ozzie introduced, the imp giving a shy little wave. 

“You’ve already seen Angel.” Lucifer motioned to his friend, who grinned widely, waving enthusiastically and a tad overzealously as he was introduced. 

“And this is Alastor.”
