Headcanon - - Rin Okumura
ooc; oh man okay, god just take all my feelings right now.
- - I think at first she was skeptical about him, he was supposedly this secret weapon Shiro and Mephisto had been raising, she didn't out right kill him though when she easily could have and gave him a chance. I think in a way (totally headcanon btw) she'd somewhat resent Rin (and Yukio) considering Shiro also rescued her, raised her and trained her yet she never called him or wasn't allowed to call him Father like they did. I think she briefly felt like he'd cast her aside, once Rin was in the picture. At the same time I think she understands Rin and obviously looks out for him, whether he wants it or not. She believes he has it in him to control his flames and hopefully he'll prove to her that Shiro had been right to save him. And whether she'd admit it or not they're quite alike in some aspects.

[ She couldn't help but grin as Shiemi seemed to be seriously thinking about it, though it just seemed to confuse her in the end. Shura was pretty sure she'd never met someone so innocent before. She felt a little bad for lying but it past over when, in the end it would work out for the best for both students...well hopefully, it could also go horribly wrong and backfire. ]

"Oh yeah all the time, he's all 'I've gotta get stronger to protect her' 'an all that" [ she explained gesturing with her hands a little dramatically. Honestly that wasn't a complete lie either...she was just stretching the truth slightly. ]
Type, type… What were types? Her tiny, blonde eyebrows furrowed together as she tried to process what her teacher was saying. Oh, like plants? Though, Shiemi didn’t think that many humans were categorized into plants… So the tamer was just leeft standing there, her thoughts whirling.

“E-Eh, he does?” A furious blush crept on her face as her teacher had let her in on this ‘secret.’ Was it true? Though, Shiemi never really thought of him during studies.. She knew that if she did, she would be distracted for sure.

[ Shura knew well enough on how people easily judged her because of her appearance, and sometimes didn't take her seriously. Though to be honest that was probably a good thing considering she didn't take most things seriously herself. But she figured that was their problem, it didn't particularly bother her, in a way it gave her the upper hand in certain situations. Pouting a little as no one seemed to want to take up her offer, maybe because of the aforementioned topic or because she'd won each of the sparring matches she'd had. About to call it quits until she saw a hand raise in the corner of her eye.
Orange hair that was kinda hard to miss came into her vision as a young girl spoke up. She looked relatively if not completely normal compared to some of the strangers here. She seemed a little out of place in this area though, but she supposed she did as well. Approaching her as she asked if she was looking for a partner, well it was about time! The others had just wanted to show off, she'd come here to train not flash off her skills to other people. ]

"Sure I don't see why not, I was gettin' kinda tired of all these macho egos any ways" [ she agreed, looking a little closer at the girl. She didn't seem to have any kind of weapon on her and Shura was eager to practice with her sword. ] "Got any weapons on ya? I'm kinda keen to practice with my sword y'know" [ she asked, though she'd fight fair if the girl was more inclined to hand-to-hand.

The Village of Strength – People who were place under the signs of this village were normally admired for their physical strength and battle wits. It was definitely not a place for Inoue Orihime who was assigned to The Village of Wisdom, under the sign of Virgo due to her caring and nurturing nature. She wanted to check Strength out. She had this crazy idea that maybe there was small possibility that her friends were here. If there was one village that Ichigo, Uryuu, Sado and even Tatsuki would be placed under, it would be Strength. But after searching high and low, there was no sign of them.
So after accepting the harsh fact that she was still alone here, the auburn female decided to take a small break and found herself curled up at the edge of the infamous Fighting Pit where the villagers trained and developed their skills as fighters. As she rested there, she watched few a few fights, studying their battle stance and their moment when it came to physical combat. It looked like fun and it reminded her of all the times she trained with everyone.
A part of her, wanted to join in and also train her skills but she knew if she would to speak up, she would be ignore because of her not-so-threatening appearance. However, she noticed another girl in the pit. Picking her head up, almond-hued pools locked on to the girl. Was she in search for an opponent? Bringing one of her hands up, she waved towards the girl to gain her attention

“Aaah. Are you looking for a partner…? Because if you are, I’ll like to try out.”

[ Well he was...keen to say the least, a lot more energetic than the previous bunch she'd sparred with. She grinned a little at his comment on her sword being from hell, well it was a demon sword after all. She barely had the time to get into a proper stance as he launched forward, he really was't wasting any time was he? She'd only just been able to shift her weight and tilt her sword up to block the attack, sparks flying off from metal meeting metal. Tthough the force pushed her back, luckily she somehow kept her balance. It was obvious she should attack his right side considering he wore an eyepatch, though that would also mean he'd probably be just as attentive with that side too, tricky.
Seeing as she'd been pushed back towards the pit wall it gave her the opportunity she needed. Though of course as a sword user she liked close combat but a few of her attacks required a bit of distance. Raising her blade just above her head, the other hand hovering below its tip. ]

"Kirigakure Demon Sword technique...Snakefang!" [ She called swiping the sword downwards three times for three long, transparent energy slashes which hurtled their way towards the man, who'd called himself Date. Generally they were easy to dodge, even Rin had managed to a couple of times when she'd attacked him in the Great Cell. Though the size and power of the blasts were the most concerning thing, they could smash though concrete easily after all. It may seem a little hasty to go straight into a technique but she had a feeling this man wasn't the type to hold back, so she wouldn't either.
If he managed to dodge the blasts they'd end up hitting the wall behind him...she hoped she wouldn't have to pay for damages or anything...probably should have thought of that earlier. Her position wasn't so great either as she was backed up by the wall behind her, though she'd see how he played it... ]

Masamune was undoubtedly surprised, eyebrow twitched slightly. It wasn’t as if he hadn’t seen such powers before. Facing the demon king, and queen showed him that such things were possible. Still, he didn’t suspect a woman who seemed perfectly calm and quite well in terms of mentality to be able to ‘summon’ something possibly from the depths of hell, “That from hell or somethin’?”
No matter, he’d take her on and sure as hell would enjoy it. Drawing one of his 6 katana’s, Masamune held it in line, his shoulder’s in an angular position holding his weapon firmly at eye level, “The names Date Masamune, alruright?”

With his name introduced, he dived right into battle. Caring little about introductions, wanting nothing more then to stretch out his muscles. Starting off with a sudden sprint forward, firmly swiping his sword downward and then to the side. It was a habit, always striking from right down to left considering his right eye was gone and he had to be more attentive to that specific section. In turn, his strong points were his down ward slashes and he would mainly focus on one side, until he was able to breaking down the others defensive position. Normally, by rushing in the opponent would either have to defend or find a way around his attack.
For now, he’d decide how the other would respond; the heat of the battle. The whole moment filled him with pleased feelings.

[ Whoops had she annoyed him already? That was so not intentional at all~ ] "Of course I'd be 'ere four eyes, and what else did ya expect? Not like I'm gonna bust my brain to try and figure it out, 'cause that ain't gonna happen this is beyond anything thats happened to us before." [ With what she'd found out there wasn't much they could do really, her relaxed approach was typical of her any way. ]

“…Shura-san.”
[He’s going to politely ignore the use of that nickname. For now. ..Maybe.]
“I wasn’t expecting to be graced by your presence here of all places. For being stuck in a place such as this, you seem to be in rather high spirits.”

[ It took her a few seconds to remember who he was, she didn't exactly have the best memory when it came to remembering people...and most other things. Though she probably should since she, y'know jumped on him and all. ] "Oh~ yeah I remember ya, well kinda that day is a blur t'me" [ she said gesturing with her one hand. It was probably a good thing too since she was sure she probably didn't make the best impressions for the people she'd met, oh well not like it really mattered.
She watched carefully as he walked over, she had to admit she was a little surprised when he took up on her offer...well damn. He didn't really look much like a fighter, then she didn't either plus she wasn't one to go on appearance alone, that'd be stupid. ]

"Well aren't yer the gentleman~" [ she hummed, though she realised continuing to fight with her fists probably wasn't going to help much, she was a Knight after all and generally wasn't too comfortable with hand-to-hand. ] "Oi hope ya don't mind if I use my sword, I'm not keen on using my fists y'know?" [ She figured she'd ask, he didn't seem to have any weapons on him and she was a fair fighter. Though if he was any good she guessed he could handle it any way.
Even though she'd asked she placed her hand to her chest to pull her sword out any way, how else was she gonna work on her skills if she didn't use her primary weapon? ] "Devour the eight Princesses, slay the Serpent" [ she uttered pulling the demon sword out, leaning the purple tinted blade on her shoulder, widening her stance. ] "Alrighty yer ready?" [ Like she needed to ask. ]
◆ 'Friendly' Match [Open]
“So we meet again, huh? The drunken angel descended from heaven.”
Spike had been watching from the sidelines, perched on the low wall that surrounded the pit in which the combatants fought. It was a little strange that he hadn’t visited the place sooner, considering it was kind of what made the Village of Strength so much more different than the other two. These kind of joints always made him wayward, though. Assholes always wanted to prove their status, especially when a chick was involved.
Kind of like the guys that had been throwing themselves at Shura, with the intention of showing her how a man fights. Poor bastards. She’d torn them apart and then tossed them aside like yesterday’s condom, leaving them with a shattered pride and probably a few broken bones.
Nothing that a good night’s sleep and a shitload of painkillers wouldn’t fix though, right?

Leaping down from the barrier, the cowboy would mimic her actions while slowly moving into the center of the ring, knocking aside one of the bodies still lingering in pain in the process before eyeing his opponent. Hand to hand, but she moved like she was used to wielding a weapon. And yet there was nothing on her person to indicate otherwise. Interesting.
“Screw it, why not? I’ll even let you start. Ladies first, ya’ know.”
