A new person, a new friend to make! Storm was really happy to meet new people, especially if they knew his dad! He stood at attention in front of the taller figure, and did his best salute, giving his wrist a little snap as he did so.

The Life he Always Wanted

He looked at the time on his watch as he sat outside his front porch. Any minute now. Joe had finally decided to settle down somewhere in Mesquite, Texas, the home of his great-great-grandfather, but he also built a cozy three-bed house for himself and the newest member of his family; his son, born via surrogate. Joe had never wanted to be in a romantic relationship with anybody, even before Hell invaded, but he always wanted to be a dad, and now he could finally do so.

Joe looked up as he heard the sound of brakes, saw the yellow bus stopping in front of his house, and smiled as the boy of ten stepped off. The kid, Henry Storm Blazkowicz, adjusted his pack before he set his eyes on his father, and with an excited “Dad!” he came running up to meet Joe.

Dead silence. Did...did Joe hear that right? “...I may, in fact, be dying.” No. That..that couldn’t be right. They were Slayers, they couldn’t die from illness or natural causes because of the Divinity Machine! 

Then he got to thinking...all the injuries Flynn suffered, all the near-death experiences, all the times he probably died but came back....He didn’t want to accept it. He grabbed a chair and sat down in front of Flynn, and all he could manage was....

“What?��

Slayer Bro Joe​:

You better believe big bro noticed the coughing, and while he did plan to ask him about that, the coughing blood made him hasten that. “You are not fine. What’s with the blood? What’s going on?”

    𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕣𝕖 𝕨𝕒𝕤 𝕒 𝕘𝕣𝕦𝕟𝕥 from Flynn, and the fellow Slayer soon ducked his head down in embarrassment, keeping a fist to his mouth as he tried his hardest to pat for his helmet. He wasn’t able to find it so easily, which. . well, did piss him off a bit, but he forced himself to take a deep breath and relax a little. Okay, don’t go freaking out Flynn. Maybe you can pass it off as just. . you know, something going onblbbleghk.

    . . 𝔸 𝕓𝕚𝕥 𝕞𝕠𝕣𝕖 𝕓𝕝𝕠𝕠𝕕. Okay, maybe that wasn’t going to be so easy to pass off.

    𝔽𝕝𝕪𝕟𝕟 𝕤𝕥𝕒𝕣𝕖𝕕, blinking a bit before peering up to Joe. Awkwardly. Nervously.

    “ 𝕐𝕠𝕦’𝕣𝕖, 𝕦𝕙. ” He managed to begin, wiping his mouth with his arm, “ . . you’re gonna get a bit pissed off at me. ” He soon said, adjusting his armor a tad bit, though he sighed as he kept his gaze on Joe.“ . . so. ” He began, softly, “ . . I may, in fact, be dying. ” He was. . weirdly a bit nonchalant with this sort of thing. How long was this going on, exactly.

Having heard all about Stan from Flynn, he’s very happy that the two of them get to meet up and just hang out again....but watching what is probably the most intense game of catch also makes him very concerned.

Stands there, watches as Flynn opens the portal machine and hauls ass through it. Joe should follow him. But does he? Nah. He heaves a long suffering sigh. “He can deal with his ‘gummie quest’ without me.” No way he was getting involved in that one.

Big Brother Joe​:

is just looking at his Slayer Bro like he’s grown a new head. “….Pretty sure that they’re impossible to find, what with the Earth being fucked and all..” Seriously, why did this juggernaut of a man need gummies?

“ FUCK I FORGOT EARTH GOT FUCKED UP BECAUSE I WAS SAVING HAYDENS SHITTY EARTH I NEED TO FIND THEM FOR MY DAD!!! ”

And he’s gone. Where has Flynn gone? Nobody knows.

It was just a normal day in the life of Joseph Blazkowicz, part of the routine he had adjusted to upon his arrival to Mars after punching out his superior, Lieutenant Weems. God, his skin still crawled at the mere thought of the man. Fortunately the good Dr. Matt Eun-ji would be able to lift his spirits pretty quickly with the announcement of a new weapon to test. Joe enjoyed trying out the new toys Eun-ji created; hell, the super shotgun Joe loved so much was just one of them.

“Well you’re halfway correct, Eun-ji. I enjoy big fucking guns.” He responded with a smirk. He let himself be led to the new project he would test out, and his jaw dropped at the sight of it. Soaked in the gun before him. it was big. Really big. The damage he could do with a squeeze of the trigger crossed Joe’s mind, and a grin broke out on his face. Upon hearing the name of the gun, all he could say was...

“I love you.”

    𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕣𝕖 𝕨𝕒𝕤 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕤𝕠𝕦𝕟𝕕 𝕠𝕗 𝕥𝕙𝕖 𝕤𝕔𝕚𝕖𝕟𝕥𝕚𝕤𝕥’𝕤 𝕣𝕒𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕣 𝕤𝕥𝕖𝕣𝕟, yet notably happier tone as the very faint thuds of his footsteps could be heard, whirs being heard from his joints underneath his uniform. Dr. Matthew Eun-Ji, the weapons specialist for the Union Aerospace Corporation on Mars (where the poor man had been stationed, at least Joe had some form of entertainment), had called him to his labs once again, this time for something serious. But, what could it possibly be? He had summoned Joe to his office for a reason.

    ℍ𝕖 𝕔𝕝𝕒𝕡𝕡𝕖𝕕 𝕙𝕚𝕤 𝕙𝕒𝕟𝕕𝕤 𝕥𝕠𝕘𝕖𝕥𝕙𝕖𝕣, letting out a little chuckle as he rubbed his palms together. This– this was going to be amazing, and he had the perfect man for the job. Straightening up more, he said, “ I know you have quite the affinity for guns. Big guns, especially! ” A little chuckle escaped the scientist’s lips, milky white eyes peering at Joe through his visor. He could barely contain his excitement, he was just about finished with his new project. His dear, precious baby that was his weapon. Of course, at this rate, the only man he’d trust to test it besides himself was Mr. Blazkowicz. He was sent here a while back after nearly beating Weems to death (and honestly? Good on him, Weems was a goddamn bastard to Matt, he got his comeuppance!). . and Matt really couldn’t help but hype himself up a little. 

    𝕎𝕚𝕥𝕙 𝕁𝕠𝕖’𝕤 𝕠𝕓𝕧𝕚𝕠𝕦𝕤 𝕒𝕗𝕗𝕚𝕟𝕚𝕥𝕪 for these sort of guns, Matt considered him an amazing colleague. Sure, Joe was a marine-turned-security officer at this place, but, hey, he tested out his weapons! And, Matt made sure to silently upgrade the weapons Joe already had. After all, it was payment. He complied very well, even if he indeed had a habit on being a nuisance, but Matt pushed that aside. He was amazing with these guns. He knew JUST how to treat them! Properly!

    “ 𝕊𝕠. I made something special. And you’re the first to test it. I made sure of it. ” He was the first? And what could it possibly be that’s got Matt so excited? Another weapon, maybe? Matt didn’t really give him much time to question it, as he soon led him to his lab, down the hall outside of his office, with the help of having to get past a few more security guards that were obviously a little wary, and within a secure container, was. . A gun. A big gun. . A really Big Fucking Gun. . Sleek white, with a shoulder support, looked like a plasma-based weapon of sorts, protected by cameras and most likely other many different mechanisms. 

    𝕋𝕙𝕖𝕣𝕖 were objects all around (perhaps different weapons and other strange things Matt had been overseeing to be made), a few scientists having been studying the large weapon the best they could, as one spoke up, “ Ah, Dr. Eun-Ji, are you going to test it? ” He asked, peering up to the man, who brightly smiled and said, “ Absolutely! Excuse me, I need to get it unlocked. ”

        . . 𝕋𝕙𝕚𝕤 𝕨𝕠𝕦𝕝𝕕 𝕥𝕒𝕜𝕖 𝕒 𝕓𝕚𝕥, but he looked to Joe and waved an arm dramatically,

    “ 𝕋𝕒𝕜𝕖 𝕚𝕥 𝕒𝕝𝕝 𝕚𝕟, Mr. Blazkowicz. What’s your first thoughts about it? I call it. . the BFG 9000, or, in laymen’s terms if you figure out what the acronym is, the Big F-Ing Gun! ”

[house-arkah] Seems to be that a Cacodemon is flying Joe's way... From behind. Why? Probably to attempt freaking him out. But whether this will work well or not remains to be seen. Taz will more than likely be killed, sure, but who knows? It might be worth setting a record. But do demons even put anything on record? It is indeed a mystery.

A Cacodemon? Sneaking up on Joe? Foolish. The Slayer turned, leveling his super shotgun at the one-eyed demon. “You’ve got huge guts trying to scare me.” He said, the famous rip and tear grin forming on his face. Surely this demon knew that trying to take on a Slayer, much less sneak up on one, was a lesson in futility?
