... so. I've decided to sacrifice my weekly memories journal and turn it into my daily catch-all planner system. I need something with me daily to write down my plans and commitments... abs this journal is just too perfect to pass up. In a perfect world, I would order a second hobonichi weeks and then continue my creative memory doodles in this... but that is more time and money that I can't quite commit to at the moment 😔

Got a little passionate today on the self care front on my Facebook... long post but I thought I'd share it here too. ~~~~~~~ "PSA: I saw an article earlier this year stating we will continue to see more of these celebrity deaths because they're an "aging population." Wrong. Dying in your 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s.... thats no "elderly population." so please... Take care of yourself. Just because society has normalized a busy schedule and running on 4 hours of sleep does not mean its right. There's a silent killer in our society. In an age where mental illnesses are still heavily stigmatized and overlooked- Stress is doing us in. We can't afford to be silent about anymore. Take care of your body. Eat fresh fruits and veggies. Drink water 'cause damn, it's good. Sleep the whole 10 hours if you get the chance. Wake up in the morning with a mug of tea and a long walk. Watch the sun set. Turn off the screens. Create new things even if you think you're "no good at it" - chances are you're the only one thinking so. Blast your favorite songs in the car. Get lost in a book. Make time for people who will lift you up to your fullest potential and cheer you on every step of the way. Grow plants in and around your home. Bake for your neighbours just because you can - its good for your soul too. Treat your body like the amazing gift it is - and don't stress over how you've treated yourself in the past. Just start doing it right. Self care is not selfish."
