i can't get over how underwhelming that 'confrontation' scene was. even HDH himself turned around and said 'you'll see some of the finest acting you've ever seen from these two during this scene' and LJJ and LBH did a fantastic job but at the same time...at what point did the finest acting emerge???

what we could have had and missed out on:

gi-hun calling him 'young-il' and in-ho correcting him to introduce himself

gi-hun angrily reflecting on the fact this is the brother jun-ho mentioned

an explanation to gi-hun about why he entered the games and their differences and similarities

why he became the frontman, what made him join, and why he's chosen this path

why in-ho has kept him alive so far

a conversation of morales and opposites between the pair of them and maybe in-ho digging into why gi-hun feels the way he feels, why he's so stubborn

gi-hun saying something, anything! to him instead of turning and just walking away. in-ho barring him from leaving till they've spoken and had a full conversation.

and don't even get me started on the ending like why did junho end up with the cgi baby, there was absoultely no closure on his whole character arc he just gave up???? like this man who has been hunting down even a trace of inho for years just gave up and started living his life with zero answers from his brother

WHYYYYYY WAS THAT THE ENDING,,,,, lets destroy every chracters interesting parts, the hwangs brothers apparently over it, gi hun never got closure, daeho not only lied but also just died with no addtion to his chracter, myun gi got no redemption, nam gyu and minsu like what the hell, and the cheap sequel bait for an american spin off like what eve was this season T^T

I actually do feel like the "unemployed friend on a Tuesday" meme actually helps de-stigmatize unemployment because it frequently affirms that when you don't have a job you're more likely to be getting up to some weird shit rather than just lazing around. But I also feel like the unemployed friend is frequently up to some random shit because there's a whole pile of miscellaneous life tasks that full-time employment keeps people from. The unemployed friend is helping their cousin move, or babysitting, or checking in with a neighbor with mobility issues. The unemployed friend is a walking thesis on the inflexibility of our current labor landscape and just how much work exists outside of work.

okay. i need people to understand the main issue here. ncuti gatwa is the first (full time) black doctor. his entrance was overshadowed by david tennant. his entire run has been the least watched run, many of you admit you did not watch his era. now, after only 16 episodes and a few specials he has regenerated and all people are talking about is billie piper. do you really not see the issue at all? and don't even get me started on what they did to belinda! i'm so BOGGLED by the amount of disrespect thrown at fifteen. he barely got to BE HIS OWN CHARACTER. we barely know him and he's gone. unreal.
