Summary: You are exhausted mentally for who knows how long, masking your personality. Always keeping a fake smile wherever you go, it went well even if it hurts but somehow someone noticed and corners you alone.

Pure Vanilla Cookie

It will take him a while to notice that you were masking this whole time, he always got fooled so easily its hard for him to notice a bit of your suffering. To him you are able to avoid him trying to understand you.

But if he happen to notice, he feels really bad for not noticing.

You didn't tell him and he didn't know, you two are on both fault at that.

You happen to notice that he was going near you at all cost, he won't be fooled by your attitude, instead he often goes near you to hug, ask you, and at the same time making sure that you are being comforted slowly.

Who knows he might be happy to see you being truly happy.

Truthless Recluse

You can't fool him, he can sense your sorrows.

Try masking your emotions and he can casually point it out like it was no big deal for him, of course he can piss you off wondering why but he knew he was trying to help you.

You heard me, "Help you." What else can you do when he found you alone on the top building with railings leaving behind many shoes of the unfortunate.

He may not be the best comforter but rest assure that his silent presence alone was there for you to at least let you lap on his lap, petting you and encouraging you to cry your heart out.

He looks cold but he isn't heartless there is still a slight fragment of Pure Vanilla Cookie in him.

Awakened Pure Vanilla Cookie

Fooling him once, crumbling to see you try.

Cause he can tell if you are alright or not, you might found him often checking up on you from time to time. Wanting you to be more open to him about your pain, sorrows, and dark thoughts that might hurt his heart.

Not only that be prepared for Pure Vanilla Cookie to arrive at your room asking you out to join him on a tea alone with him in a more private place just to comfort you no matter how many times other cookies tried to get him.

You being alone is not on his goal, his goal is to be there by your side. After all, he sees his own pain within you, he needs to see a future, a future where you are happy by his side no matter the cost.

Shadow Milk Cookie

Imagine your surprise that he found you alone on a bridge alone when you were lost in thoughts, you ignored him despite him mocking you to not do that unfortunate risk.

At first you think you fooled him, but he isn't he can sense your sorrow.

But even if you can't take it anymore and was about to jump, he simply won't let you. Putting you as his doll puppet for his own amusement. After all he found a PERFECT audience to perform no matter what state you are in.

But deep down, he finds your pain like a painful past reflection he has seen himself in. He won't let that slide, so he got his eyes on you no matter what. And he knew he got his instincts right the SECOND he leave you alone, disrespecting your privacy and making sure you feel better no matter his own efforts are not good.

After all, you serve a great challenge for him~

Sage of Truth

He can see you mask, your fake smile and it made him notice how you are mentally feeling. He is of course the fount of knowledge and the sage of truth, he knew the truth the second he see you. Cornering you to see how you are feeling got you on your nerves at first, but he reassures you that he was concerned for you and with valid proof he was doing everything he can to at least save you.

Of course there was an argument, but he won't back down even tho he will admit he is scared on the inside the pain that you help scares him but he knew his priority.

Finally he got you on your weakest and saddest days and he comfort you every time. And thus he decided to become your roommate despite how jealous other cookies are.

He has a feeling that leaving you alone once would make him hear the worse situation possible even tho it won't happen.

Surprise to say, he has become your therapist and comforter.

Black Sapphire Cookie

He didn't know at first but when he started inspecting you, it has somehow become a puzzle he wanted to solve like a detective investigating a crime scene. He knows your masking but he has no proof that you are mentally struggling to feel better, so he went deeper to find the pieces.

And let's just say once he did he got disgusted and now he has to capture you for himself, after all no child doesn't deserve the harsh treatment for a parent/guardian. By spreading a nasty rumor and making sure that IT IS REAL he was amused to see their face filled with begging, crying, and regret which he didn't believe and finish the job.

The next day you were doing peaceful stuff receiving concerns and worries from other cookies no matter where you go which got you confused.

But once you were finally alone, you knew the moment you see him it is checkmate.

"Now, now, where do you think your going, my dear audience~"

Candy Apple Cookie

Aside from doing the orders Shadow Milk Cookie gave her, you were the first cookie she somehow by any chance got along well with. Even if she manage to fool you, she notice that unusual look on your face. It got her confused and yet there was a desire to find out.

Those so called friends who betrayed you ticked her the wrong way, she often sees you with bruises and weird haircuts which her usual smile fades to a deadly seriousness. Candy Apple Cookie SIMPLY won't let that slide, after all YOU are her favorite friend aside from Shadow Milk Cookie and Black Sapphire Cookie.

She manage to convince Black Sapphire to join her on a scheme which gave him ideas to bring in the rumors about your so called "good friends" as she drags you away from them and your village.

Sure Master Shadow Milk Cookie WON'T mind this now do he?

Headcanons of Horropedia with a clingy s/o please?

(Once again I didn't have the chance to find idea but finally I did. Once again, I am so sorry to take too very long to do this.)

Game: Reverse 1999 Character: Horropedia (Joshua) x Clingy! G/N! Reader Genre: Fluff Disclaimer: Warning that there might be ooc and a bit short if you find it a bit uncomfortable.

When you and Horropedia becomes friends, he has to adjust to you being clingy. Sure he doesn't mind but he does need his space to also mind his own business (trouble).

He will might want to make sure that he got his own space but he isn't afraid to tell you off. However that will depend if you respect his decision or not, cause if not there might be some conflict but if you do respect his decision he would be thankful for you and will reward you to watch horror movies with him and you can cling to him during the movie. But as time passes by Horropedia did get used to your clinginess.

He got so used to your clinginess to it does become a habit for him to expect you to go hug him out of nowhere.

But it gets even better when you two become a couple.

As long as you and Horropedia got the rightful balance of closure it feels so right. Heck, during a horror movie depending on what you two cling into each other. You can find yourself on his chest or the opposite. (When Horropedia first felt your chest he was blushing since he was no used to this kind of closure) It felt so relaxing to the point that you two might sleep through the movie.

Just be aware that if your tempted to go a bit too far in this, Horropedia will comment on your actions.

You know that IDV that IDV thing that you made where the reader has extra arms? Yah, I kinda want a sequel that explains more about the reader and their nonhuman life.

For a bit of an example, the reader could be part of a cave dwelling race that mostly lives underground and (as the name implies) in caves and they only ever go to the surface to forage for resources and occasionally interact with humans for said resources (while under the guise of being humans themselves, of course).

The reader’s race have not only evolved extra arms, but have retractable claws (for when they need to protect themselves) and heavily immune to diseases and poisons and are very proficient in magic. Their race also has much stronger senses and strength than most humans and you’ve gotta be strong to survive where they live.

When the reader’s race isn’t looking for resources above ground, they usually feed on the mushrooms and vegetation that grows in their underground habitat. Some of the types of mushrooms they eat produce dangerous spores that ether destroys people from the inside out or transforms them into hideous monsters. The reader’s cave dwelling race has evolved to be immune to these spores and are able to harvest the mushrooms safely.

Despite what some people might think, the reader’s race is surprisingly civilized and even have their own villages and religions. Their kind is peaceful and prefer not to get into conflict, only fighting when they have no choice but to protect themselves in order to survive. The cave dwellers have plenty of knowledge on herbs and medicines.

The cave dwelling race haven’t had to many “positive” experiences with the humans in the past, often being called “hideous abominations” (even though they aren’t that ugly AT ALL) and are sometimes hunted upon due to the humans wrongly thinking that the cave dwellers are dangerous monsters. Obviously, not all humans think this, but the cave dwellers aren’t taking any chances. Because of this, the cave dwellers try to interact with the outside world a little as they can and when they do the must disguise themselves as humans. The only exception being the reader who has taken interest in humans and the outside world.

Despite their family’s objections, the reader goes out into the outside world, traveling the world as traveling merchant and intergrading with society. I’ll just leave it up to you how the reader got invited to Oletus Manor cuz I’m really starting to run out of ideas.

This ask was mostly inspired by the Fear and Hunger games some of the fanart I found of them. In fact, the reader I just described is basically also a Fear and Hunger OC themselves. If you don’t know what Fear and Hunger is, then I recommend you look it up. Be warned, though, the Fear and Hunger games are the complete OPPOSITE of kosher and are not for the weak of heart or mind, so be prepared to see some f*cked up sh*t if you do decide to look it up.

Recently, there are people having to enjoy the music that was in Jinzhou. You are well aware that you sang it, but decided to be the mysterious singer artist working in the Academy.

There is one reason, when work and projects DO stress you out, your stress relief only at that time was making music in secret before uploading it when it was a masterpiece. Heck, you can evenly hear them playing the music and music instrumentals around no matter where you go, it was your masterpieces and they do enjoy it alot without knowing that you made them.

But you didn't realize that there are SOME who are trying to find the person doing the singing.

Xiangli Yao

Know well that you have seen him before, imagine your shock when Xiangli Yao HAVE heard your songs. The second he had a change to talk to you in private, the first thing was the usual research reports and project reports.

Though you were not expecting when Xiangli Yao was paying attention to you and your voice.

"Are you by chance, the singer that everyone admired?"

"!!!"

He was smiling at you, talking to you about the songs he DID happen to listen. You thought that he isn't doing those but you were wrong, your songs does appear in the research labs as focus music or relaxing music to destress the researchers.

He happen to get involved in listening to your music instrumental at that time and his co-workers gave him the access to your music to listen, Xiangli Yao did hear your voice in one of the songs he was curious about and to his surprise he recognize that it was in fact your voice.

After his explanation you were rightfully embarrassed knowing that he was listening to your music, but at the same time you were honored knowing that he enjoyed your music.

Ever since you can find Xiangli Yao listening to your music while he works, heck he insist on watching you sing and making your own music. He never told you this, but your voice is like a siren to him, it really distracted him in a good way that he finds himself staring at you more with a sift gaze.

Tho he does care for you, so he also insist on giving you food and drinks making it seem like it was a planned date right after that schedule.

But what you didn't even notice is that Xiangli Yao has taken a full interest in you. All you did was casually do your job in a repeatable and tiresome cycle of work and singing is your only best shot. And yet...

You do have to admit that Xiangli Yao IS charming, for him to taken an interest to you and your songs is screaming that you should be honored.

And if you have a chance to witness Xiangli Yao appear you might be greeted with flowers as a appreciation.

What will you do now?

By accepting his invitation of course, and as a result it turned out pretty well. You two did have a good moment together, but getting to a confession isn't very easy. It was a massive slow burn between the two of you.

Horropedia x G/N! Reader

Game: Reverse 1999 Character: Horropedia (Joshua) x G/N! Reader Genre: Fluff & Hurt/Comfort

Summary: You were one of the unfortunate arcanists who got involved to "The Dream Recorder" as a test subject. But despite all of the nightmares you often have, that becomes your primary goal to control the nightmares to your advantage.

You known Joshua ever since you were tagged with him for an group assignment. Despite that you are him are the same age he has more knowledge than you, but your own talents as a programmer and engineer you manage to assist him easily in the project.

Because of you, Joshua got the reward but you insist on letting him take the credit for himself without him replying. At the end of the day, you went to a comatose state to re-continue your dream recorder project thanks to the group assignment. Heck you were secretly the reason to mention the word philia he got his new nickname.

Months or a year has passed and you were still comatose trapped in the dream, and you just happen to find Vertin who was lost, but you who knows the way and just refused to wake up just to observe the dream for research guided Vertin to wake up safely. Because of that Vertin invited you and assign you to her team, unbeknownst to you, Horropedia is also in the team.

Sooner enough you and Horropedia were reunited.

He was happy to see you alive and well while you were surprised and pet him to find out that its never a dream. Because of Vertin reuniting you and Horropedia to each other, the two of you decided to cooperate in the dream recording project. Horropedia as the observe and viewer to your nightmares while you alone do the nightmare exploring. But that can only happen during the days while chaos was happening outside of the case.

But since you were still awake, you slowly getting burned out from the project, your body did get the sleep but the brain didn't get the proper rest. Because of that your mind is utterly exhausted, and with having no other options aside from the medicine refusal the "other" method of medicine is to go to a different company for a different healing aka going to your best friend Horropedia, the same person who helped and supported you just like what you did back then to him.

He was grateful to you and did manage to get your attention to him.

When he sees that you are not feeling well to do the project, Horropedia took notice of that and decided to invite you to watch horror movies with him. Of course you were confused as to why did he go so far as to pull you away from the project, and yet your thankful for him.

During the horror movie, you and Horropedia were watching one of the baddest horror movies, Horropedia made the funniest joke in a scene that was so obvious but funny. You were stunned and yet.

"Hahahahahahh!!!"

You were laughing as Horropedia laughs with you, what you lost for a very long time feels great to have it. And yet you face him smiling, "You really are precious, you know that?" Not knowing that you said it out loud, Horropedia stares at you stunned and yet he felt his face flush red.

"Thank you Joshua-I mean... Horropedia."

Before he had a chance to reply, leaning closer to kiss him on the cheek before getting up. And yet Horropedia pulled you closer to him for a tight hug.

"No....I should be thanking you, (y/n)."

It was awkward but you don't mind it, embracing him back feels like part of you is healing. Nightmares continues to follow you but at the end of the dream is relief, comfort of harsh life, and human connections.

At the end of that day, you unknowingly took a nap in his arms as he cuddles you during the continuation of the movie. Feeling a small nuzzle on your head during your sleep, it made you feel very thankful for him.

You had no horrible dreams or nightmares ever since that cuddled sleep.

You may not notice this before and even until now, for being just a normal farmer who just sell crops, restores the community center with your junimo friends, helping the others in need to gain their full trust, you have everything.

Yeah...except for one.

Getting a spouse.

It is the ONLY thing you never had while you were doing your best in Pelican Town, and yet you never realize how you actually make others feel better than before even if you can't fix them completely.

Out of all the possible candidates, you found interest on a certain boy.

Even if...you never understand yourself very well...

Local Emo boy, Sebastian.

Lives in the mountain with his parents tho there will always be conflict wherever he goes, it started off as a awkward conversation, but soon it turns to a more...nice and friendly relationship you two have.

What goes romancing anyone can do to you? You are just doing something to save yourself and yet, it turns out that you yourself need saving too but….how? An endless spiral of questions appears on your mind, walking in the rain where no one can really hear you to the beach where you can find solace to the sounds of the rain and the sounds of the beach waves by the docks, and yet…

“Hm? (Farmer)?”

“!!!”

He is there.

“You come to beach in the rain as well?”

You nodded, not expecting someone to be there in the rain. Most people stay at home to avoid the rain for colds but here Sebastian is relishing into the rain like nothing happened. Walking closer to him you two remained quiet, giving a slight glanced at him he looks relaxed but looking a bit sad. Hearing him talk to you does help you well to feel a bit better, and yet he noticed that the rain was getting him more.

“Here there is room for two.”

You walked closer to him a little bit hoping to not take too much space, the two of you relaxed into rain quietly, it was comforting. And yet you never imagine that he is slowly warming up to you. From a slightly awkward conversation in his room, encountering him fixing a motorcycle and plans to move out of town, playing games with him and Sam in his room, and now relaxing with him quietly on the beach side. You do admit secretly that you are comfortable with him being there with you.

But you remember one small pain that you can tell, during in the Flower Dance, you watched Abigail dancing with Sebastian even if you didn’t participate in the dance but to only watch them dance. What is this painful feeling he is just your acquaintance/friend, she looked proud even tho you did not do anything but talk to him just casually.

“…(er)….(Farmer)….”

Why….why does your heart ache when you can’t express it-

“(Farmer), are you okay? You looked lifeless for a minute…”

When you snap out of it, Sebastian was facing you he looked concerned and doesn’t understand why.

You were speechless but to Sebastian he know fully well that there is no one who can hear you out, he has seen you feeling lifeless or depressed in one of these previous days but its rare for him to see you this sad in person. Taking a deep breath before facing to the ocean….

“I….never understand myself and my emotions well….”

You were told you had apathy, doesn’t smile, doesn’t show emotion, but when you do it never makes sense to you. You just want to get to know more about Sebastian and the other people in town not just show emotions. “Im sure the you and the town knows that…I don’t smile more often… I don’t even understand myself very well….” Holding your arm for a slight bit of comfort you closed your eyes taking a sharp breath.

Not ready to see his reaction you decided to continue, “I’m scared… Being a people pleaser for money is not my thing…. And yet, seeing progress with everyone one by one makes me wonder…. What if actually feels to feel….loved.”

“…”

You wanted to run to home and yet, you felt an arm wrapped around your waist. Opening your eyes you saw Sebastian pulling you closer to him, he has a reassuring smile on his face before making you lean your head on his shoulder.

You don’t get it, it never makes sense.

You respected his dream, you respected him, but you never seen him….being this close to you.

Parts of you want to push him away and yet….you feel like you deserve comfort from him.

“Are you feeling a bit better now that you say whats on your mind?”

“….y-yes….”

No more words, only silence and yet there is comfort in silence. Its like time has slowed or stopped for a moment, and yet you feel rather….relieved. Having someone to hear you out is something that you never expected it to be so comforting.

“Did you….hate me for saying these words?”

“No, its rather understandable for you to have these feelings. I don’t hate you for that, but rather thankful that you also open up to me.”

You two stare at the sky that was now going dark, and yet…

“Hey….Sebastian…?”

He looks at you confused before you gently hug him underneath the umbrella, “Thanks.” You don’t want to explain yourself and when you pull away just to look at him once more, you didn’t realize what your doing.

“I’ll find myself going to visit you once I got free time…. But please warm up once your home.”

You pull away from him before waving goodbye to him walking yourself to the town once more leaving Sebastian alone. You didn’t realize this but….you realize that you almost kissed him. It made your face feel warm from what you just did.

Sebastian on the other hand was speechless, feeling his face becoming warmer. You may not noticed this but he saw you smile for the very first time, and yet he did saw that your face was red up close at that. He finds himself covering his mouth feeling warmer than the cold.

Morning finally comes in 6 am, waking up from the sound you tried to remember what happened to you.

You remembered getting gravely injured while fighting the enemies but quickly escaped to the ladder once you realized that it was almost 2 am, but you didn’t lose anything this time but…. neither your money or items was stolen.

Getting yourself a cup of hot water/coffee/tea you need to refresh yourself from the pain it can't fully help you thanks to the brain re-remembering the nightmare. Everything hurts but you think you got used to it.

While you are doing your early morning tasks you soon got a visitor that appear to your office quietly. Facing to the person it was your best friend, Joshua who just got himself some freshly cooked hashbrowns.

'Treat them right' is what they provide, and yet you envy the people who secretly disobey the foundation sometimes.

But that is not about the foundation itself no, the situation is right in front of you.

Two choices in mind and yet you knew the answer.

It did not affect the strictness of the foundation, after all. Love, Familiarity, Affection, and Health care are important. Being left alone to deal with the heaviest thoughts could lead to serious incidents.

Horropedia wraps you like a burrito and snuggles you the second he opens another horror movies. You watched with him cozied up with him, and yet you found yourself leaning on him more often till you closed your eyes.

All Horropedia can do was keep an eye on you, but he isn't planning on letting you go.

He does admit to himself that he had a crush on you ever since you saved him from being caught by the foundation and plus spending time with him.

Without you knowing he feels happy knowing that he gave you a kiss on the head hoping that your nightmares are gone.

She is EXTREMELY worried about you and immediately tries her best to tend to your wounds, constantly worried that she would leave or worse yet lost you when you are away from her.

She can't afford to leave you alone.

If anything she would LOVE to ask permission to be with you till you recovered from your wounds.

If you do need any help or any of her service Sonetto will arrive no hesitation.

But if its a kiss, she would give you kisses, no questions asks.

The happy go lucky man will turn to concern and worry with a blink of an eye.

Goes to you and wonders if you are alive or a ghost, but when you reassure him that you are fine and just injured. He brushes off like nothing happened.

That is the ONLY thing he can fool you.

In his own way Horropedia loves to bother you even if you are recovering from your injuries. But this is LITERALLY his opportunity to be with you so he is on the winning side.
