How is Cheese doing lately? Has he learned to love yet?

Cheese is doing great. I've discovered that the things he loves most in life are being sung to and sitting outside in his backpack. He really lights up when you do these things with him.

And he IS learning to love! He eats when he sees members of my household eat, and he beeps at us and makes all kinds of expressions at us now. He flock calls when he's outside and I walk out of sight. He will also eat from my hand and--briefly!!--let me touch his head. I think he trusts humans just a few millimeters more every day.

He's already a completely different bird than the one I adopted two years ago. I'm really proud of him. He is very brave and continues to be very polite.

its really cool that we discovered glass which is the material that doesnt have any chemical reactions with anything in the universe very useful for doing chemistry due to being able to put things in it to contain chemical reactions and never having it react with the things that are in it due to it being completely and entirely unreactive to every chemical
