Pale creepy girl who doesn't like sunlight. Imposing relentless weirdo. Still alone in o-Hello. See the deadly nightshade grow.

Moar fluff
Jura remembers when it happened to her. There was no way she would abandon him in that state, tempered and made to relive it all.

He imagines that it burns. A little shining thing, rejecting him so utterly that even his infernal flesh is singed by it. The apple of that forbidden grove is ever in the narrows of his eyes, and never near enough to put his hands around.
One must imagine Tantalus happy.
Would it stop her heart, he wonders? Furtively he has pitted his favourite experts against the enigma, and they have retrieved so very little. It skirts the fringes of necromancy, never once carving or inking so much as a hiccup of recognizable contractual language. But, if their suspicions are correct...
...then the girl with no soul is not so soulless. A life bound and beggared to a crystal prison, at once lethally fragile and impossibly resilient. Quasi-immortality... as long as nothing happened to her little bauble.
So he asks himself again. Say it doesn't burn him at the ingress of his touch. Say he can take hold of it, close claws around it, well and truly bind her to his clutches. Would it stutter her breath? Would she slip from consciousness if his grip tugged at whatever tether held all the pretty ribbons of her life together?
These and more rolled in and out of his mind like the tide, and whenever strange violet crossed his vision.
You are safe from my touch in your magicked cage, little mouse, he thinks. At least until I find the proper key.
He imagines that if it doesn't burn, it's as lusciously, scandalously warm as flesh.

He releases his imagined grip on her chin. She has him in the narrows of her firing eye, but she is frozen.
A captive audience.
Perfect.
Tutting, he slinks and steps aside, folding his arms in the poets' rumination. 'More fool me. Here I thought I had found in my maze a mouse.'
Monster's eyes shielded by brown, human warmth fix her in his sights. 'But now I see I've caught not a little mouse... but a little mermaid.'
No response. Clever, clever girl. Her hackles are raised, her crooked hands readied to call her magic unto herself. But she listens, still.
'...Poor creature. To have given her voice, her wish, unto magic. Her body sundered, and even with the aid of a cane, each fumbling step sends agony shooting through her very being.'
Nothing. Nothing but the cryogenic stare of her hate.
He raises a fingertip to his chin, affecting thoughtfulness, the gleam of his gaze never leaving her.
'So much suffering and sacrifice, for so little joy in return.
What was it all for, they ask?' Half of his face sneers. The other is cloaked in shadow, in the blurring of the impact his narration has made in her.
Gesturing to the collapse of her legs, surrendered to fatigue; a gaze trailing horribly up and down her form laid low, exactly where she feared and fought not to be.
But he thought himself a beast of mercy. Compassion. His cruel hand extends to her in her sorrow.
'And now he who reaps the wonders of your sorrow wanders obliviously forth, unknowing of the tongue severed to achieve it, or any of the gentle words it might speak.' Rage foaming in that small frame; the insults have hit home.
'But will this sorrow play out as ever it did before?'
In the depths of his infernal neck, a dry laugh drowns.
'Come find me, ere you turn to seafoam, little mermaid.
At least in me, your bloodied mouth and feet won't go to waste.'

It was there.
Glimmering, living brightness in a candy cage, sealed shut with golden ribbon and lock. Indecipherable script covered its crystalline lattices, far and away from the naked eye. The text could say 'Eat me', for all he knew, and for all that it taunted him.
Oh, certainly, there were soul jars and cages and coins and hot pretty papers that curled in the flames, but never burned. But this was not the magic box of a lich.
An astonishing feat. A living soul, surgically and beautifully excised from its host, and captured intact in this tiny glowing urn.
Completely untouchable, even for him.
A blaze of offense skittered over his chest, twin trails of jealous smoke that made him contort his nose in a haughty sniff.
The flicker of the jewel's resident colour washed over him again as the body that wore it turned its hand up to its chin, soft and pensive. An ocean blue, vast and deep, but painted in purple light like carelessly spilled dye. A wonderfully unnatural puddle, and he wasn't even allowed to step in it.
Not tethered so snugly as it was to the husk it was animating.
This was a challenge, surely. It would only be fitting that this visionary creature should be the very same as the one that walked toward him from the water's edge in his dream.
Raphael did not like losing a challenge--whether the fine print said 'Eat me' or 'Keep Out'.
