Y’all idk why but I’ve been having this idea for awhile now and I just needed to share it with you guys. If you would like to take *inspiration* from this idea go right ahead! I absolutely adore it. Anywho, I hope you enjoy reading this!
Ships- Steve x Eddie (Steddie); Robin x Vickie (Robbie???? Rickie????Idk😭)
TW- mentions of kissing, mentions of holding hands, volleyball. I think that’s it.
———————————————————————
Robin had just convinced Steve to go to a mens volleyball match. Apparently she was going with Vickie and they wanted him to tag along. It was basically them offering him to be a third wheel for two hours. Steve agreed to it saying, “As long as you two don’t kiss and stuff, I’ll go.”
They arrived at the match around 5:15PM. The Indiana Soarers and the Illinois Bears were warming up on the court. Steve, Robin, and Vickie sat in the closest row they could.
“It’s so loud in here,” Steve said. Of course he had to be complaining.
“Stop complaining Steven. Maybe if you pay attention and watch then you’ll take some interest in it.” Robin said sharply. Her and Vickie were close together, holding hands.
“Fine,” Steve said. He’s never thought much about mens volleyball. He grew up taught that volleyball should be a woman’s sport and men should play basketball or football. Of course he’s much more mature now and he doesn’t think all those things to be true.
He pays close attention to them warm up. Right from the start, a boy catches his eye. Number 19, Munson. His curly hair was pulled back into a ponytail. He played outside and passed in the back row. Steve was mesmerized by this beauty of a man. Number 19 would swing so hard at the ball that you could hear it ricochet off of the court. He made perfect passes and of course Steve took note that everyone was chatting with him. A lot. Like after everything number 19 did they would cheer him on.
Finally after watching them warm up for 15 minutes, the game began. Number 19 was up to serve. Steve’s never cheered harder in his entire life. Munson just got an ACE after ACE after ACE. He was unstoppable. The first set of five was over in a flash.
The second set began and the Illinois Bears had first serve this time. The ball flies over and Munson makes a perfect pass. The setter sets him up and he swings. The ball went so fast and far that it nailed the other team’s middle back straight in the face. Their nose started to bleed. Without a splitting second, Munson ran over and started apologizing and helping with the nose bleed.
“He’s very..considerate.” Steve says.
The match continues on and honestly Steve feels like running onto the court and just giving number 19 the biggest hug ever. Then, of course, giving him Steve’s phone number.
Steve was constantly saying things such as, “He sure knows how to pass,” and “Holy crap he’s amazing.” He was practically drooling.
“Steve clean yourself up. You’ll never get number 19’s phone number if your drooling all over yourself.” Robin said, playfully hitting him on the arm. “I mean look at ya. You’re falling in love Steven.”
“I’m not… falling in love Robin. How about I tell Vickie about all the times you were drooling over her-” Steve said being interrupted by Robin.
“You watch it Steven. I know love when I see it.” Robin said.
“She is right Steve, you gotta trust her.” Vickie said.
“Your all over reacting. I just think he’s cool…and athletic. He’s also kinda hot but other than that it’s nothing.” Steve says. He turns to give his full attention to the game. Robin and Vickie start yelling for number 19.
Then it happens.
Number 19 looks over to Steve and just smiles. Steve’s heart began to swell. Blush was creeping up his neck and Steve waved at him, partly biting his bottom lip. Number 19 tied his shoe, while winking at Steve of course. They flirted back and forth in between serves and sets.
“You guys need to get a room,” Robin says. She nudges Steve with her foot.
“More like you and Vickie need to get one. You two have been snuggled up next to each other holding hands and kissing.” Steve says. The argument ended there.
The Indiana Soarers won and moved on to the play offs. Steve got the chance to talk with them after the game. He said “Amazing job out there,” “You had such good form,” and “I’m really impressed by your skills!” That’s whenever he spotted him.
Number 19. Munson. He spots Steve too.
“Why hello sweetheart. I saw that you were enjoying my performance out of the court.” Steve blushed at the nickname. “My names Eddie.”
“My name’s Steve. It was—you were incredible out there!” Steve said. The shake in his voice was obvious.
“Why thank you babes. Say why don’t you come get some food with me. Maybe I could here some more about you and possibly sneak your phone number by the end of the night.” Eddie said. He got real close to Steve. He had the Cheshire Cat grin just plastered all over his face. His big, brown, doe eyes peered into Steve’s.
“Yeah..yes. Please,” Steve said. He felt his face burn from the blush. He could get lost in Eddie’s eyes, and his face, and basically his whole entire existence.
They went and got food with each other and Steve definitely got Eddie’s number and they even shared a few kisses.
“This may sound random, but why did you choose the number 19, Eds?” Steve questioned. Eddie swallowed the drink of Pepsi he had just taken.
“We’ll because the 19th letter in the alphabet is the letter ‘S’. I grew up thinking that S stood for soulmate, sorrow, super, sunshine, someday, and now you, Stevie.” Eddie responded. Steve just fell deeper in love with him after that.
Robin made fun of Steve for more than a week afterwards. She would make kissing noises or ask when they would get to see Eddie and him together. He usually laughed it off and made fun of her for being so cuddly and lovey-dovey with Vickie.
Steve ended up going to the rest of the Indiana Soarers volleyball matches. It gives him an excuse to go see his favorite person play. And besides ‘S’ stands for soulmate, sorrow, super, sunshine, someday, and Stevie.
POST VOLLEYBALL SEASON🤧
Steve and Eddie have been dating for a while now. They recently moved in with each other and have the most splendid times together. Every second they fall deeper in love with each other. They have been caught kissing a few times to much, and too long may I add, and the kids always pick on them for it. The kids absolutely adore Eddie, though. Eddie sometimes teaches them different moves in volleyball and makes sure there’s always time to play with them, wether it’s a volleyball game or just simply a board game. This actually gets Eddie interested into DND. Dustin brought it in to finish a campaign once and Eddie fell in love with it, making Steve only a tad bit jealous.
Steve was perfect for Eddie and Eddie was perfect for Steve. It was a match made in heaven.. or on a volleyball court rather say.
———————————————————————
Let me know if you like this idea or not because I personally just love the idea of a flirty, volleyball player Eddie and a loud, cheering Steve. This just fills my heart with joy❤️
I hope you all have a wonderful day and night and I’ll hopefully upload again soon. Until then stay positive and keep it strange. I like it that way.

Eddie was screwed. Like realllyyy screwed. He was late for DND, and he was also late picking up Dustin.
Just great.
He quickly pulled into Dustin’s driveway and ran up and knocked on his door. Dustin opens the door quite harshly and just stares for a few seconds. “You’re late.”
Eddie scoffs. “No dip Sherlock. Let’s go.” He turned around and started the journey back to his car. Dustin yelled back something to his mom and followed.
Dustin lectured Eddie the entire way to the high school. He sounded a bit like Steve. Big boy Steve. The loving and gentle Steve who can bite off a bats head. The perfect haircut Steve. The boy who has a late reaction time Steve. Steve. A boy who would be classified under pretty instead of handsome. Steve. The housewife male. Steve.
Steve
Steve
Steve
“Are you even listening to me?!” Dustin shouts. “What we’re you thinking about? Is it a girl? Is it a boy?” Eddie turned his head so fast that he could’ve gotten whiplash.
“What? No. Nope. No boys in my thoughts. Not a single one.” Eddie spurts out. He sounds like an idiot now. Dustin puts on his dopey smile and just looks at Eddie who is now as red as a cherry.
“Which boy is it? Gareth? Jeff? Jason? Tommy H?” Dustin persisted. He held his hands out to the side while he went down the list. Dustin does that a lot. It’s adorable though.
“Ew no dude. No way.” Eddie responds. He makes gagging sounds which gets a laugh out of Dustin.
“Is it Steve?” This makes Eddie almost have choke. A warm tingly feeling erupts in Eddie’s stomach. Both of his hands gripped the steering wheel.
“No. No. It’s um- it’s not.. Steve.” Eddie stutters. They pulled into the high school and parked.
“So it is Steve? That’s so boring.” Dustin says, rolling his eyes. “You really have a crush on the most popular kid in Hawkins? Come on now Eddie, you gotta at least try and be original.”
“It’s not Steve. It’s not anyone.” Eddie says hopping out of the car. He can feel his face growing red by the second.
“Sure. We’ll see.” Dustin says. He happily skips into the building ahead of Eddie. “Also Eddie, please don’t flirt too much with Steve. You’ll take my best friend. I don’t think I could forgive you if you did.” He laughed at his own joke and went through the doors out of Eddie’s view.
Eddie just stood there. He stared blankly at the doors, reflecting himself. Would he be able to win Steve over? Could he? What would Steve say? He was overthinking everything. Screw this Dustin. Screw you for always making Eddie have to overthink. Screw you for saying that Steve Harrington would just love to fall in love with Eddie. Screw you Dustin for being the best matchmaker out there. Screw you. Screw this. He finally collected himself and went into the building. When he entered everyone just stared at him. “What?” He asked.
“You’re in love with Steve Harrington?” They all shout. While Jeff and Gareth look disapprovingly, Mike looks disgusted, and Dustin and Lucas look like they just solved the biggest mystery ever. Screw you Dustin. It’s horrible how you must tell everyone everything. Now they know that I’ve fallen in love with the hunky yet small Steve Harrington. The smart yet dumb Steve Harrington. The girliest yet manliest Steve Harrington. Steve. Stevie. Big boy. Pretty boy. My lover. My forever.
Steve.
Steve.
Steve.
Everyone’s attention is turned towards the doors when they open. It’s none other than Steve. Holy. Crap. Steve. “Dustin I have to talk to you. It’s.. important? I don’t know I just really need someone to talk too right now.” He says. He turns his attention to Eddie. His curly hair. His rings that were all-too-shiny but just perfect. His blushing cheeks. Not to talk about his outfit. Holy. Crap.
“Do I have to? Go talk to Robin or something.” Dustin said, annoyingly. How does Steve put up with this kid?
“Robin out with Vickie right now. Please just.. come talk to me.” Steve says, almost begging.
“No go talk with Mike or Lucas or even Eddie. I don’t want to talk to you.” Dustin says. Steve shudders and turns to Eddie.
“Can.. can I talk to you?” Steve says. Eddie gives him a slight nod and follows him out the door. Blush crept up to both of their faces.
Eddie was so screwed. Like sooooo screwed.

🎶Its sad because it just hurts🎶
Short fic/theory by Sleepy-Editz
Mike:
“El, what do you see?” I practically shout. Vecna has Will in a trance and we’re trying to save him. We MUST save him. I need him. My hands are trembling and my face is sticky from the tears I’ve been crying out. “Please hurry El.”
“I see… a swing set.” Eleven says. I stare wisely at her. “There are two boys there. One of them is very small, the other not so much. They look… scared. Lonely.” I know what it is.
It’s the day me and will became friends.
“What are they saying El?” I ask. I can feel the tears swelling back up into my eyes.
“The little boy is asking the taller one a question. They sit down on swings next to each other. They’re laughing now.” El responds.
“Go to them El. Please. Find Will.” I cry out. Tears are falling out of my eyes again. Will’s best moments were with me and I’ve almost completely ignored him. I’m so so stupid. I needed him. I wanted him. I dry my tears off on my sleeve.
“A new memory is appearing,” Eleven starts to say. “It’s Will. He’s much younger and he’s in a fort. ‘Castle Byers’”
I don’t know if I should be crying or smiling. We’re going to find you Will. I’M going to find you. I won’t stop until I do. Even if I have to relive your whole life or wait until I’m 76 years-old. I need you Will.

Heyy! So this was kinda short and I kinda lost inspiration for it but thanks for reading it! Should I make a part two to this? Love you all soooo much and I hope you have a wonderful day! <333

California dreaming
By Sleepy-Editz
It’s been a very difficult car ride. Not only am I sitting in a puddle of my own tears, but I am also feeling silenced. I look out the window to see the desert floor and the light blue sky whip past in a blur. I can’t help but acknowledge how we’re practically in the middle of no where. I can relate to that though. Sometimes when your different you can feel like your in the middle of no where. Like you’re your own little island, far away from everyone else. It’s hard sometimes but you kinda just accept the fact that no one will find you. Who cares honestly. I could do without Mike and Dustin and even Lucas. That doesn’t mean it doesn’t hurt. I feel an arm wrap around me. Then two. Mike surrounds me in an embrace. “I’ve finally found you, Will.” That’s when I turn around and look at him. Tears streaming down my cheeks. I pull him into the tightest hug ever. I know I may wake up from a dream soon but I don’t care. I never want this dream to end. I guess I’m just California dreaming on such a winter’s day.
