May I request a Bumble and Mapleshade hypokit? My two favorite characters ^^

Lots of Maple love here recently!

MEET: Honey Bee

As punishment for Mapleshade’s crimes, she was given the name Shaded Maple and was sent back in time, to the very beginning, in the hopes that seeing the fledgling Clans being formed would remind her of her loyalty, as well as why they needed to stay strong, proud, and separate rather than cross boundaries even in the name of love.

Instead, she found Bumble.

It was a long, arduous process for Shaded Maple to settle into the new time, and longer still for her mind to recover from the point it had been in when she had died, but Bumble - sweet, lovely, beautiful Bumble - helped immensely, endlessly patient and adorably thrilled when Shaded Maple made her announcement that she would be leaving the wilderness behind without hesitation, so long as that meant staying by Bumble’s side.

Their little daughter, Honey Bee, every bit as sweet-natured and short-tempered as her name implied, followed not long after, a perfect mixture of her mothers in personality and a miracle in her own right.

Inspired by the observation I made of all of the animatronics having forward-facing eyes… Which is especially apt for the not-so-prey-animal bunny…

With the release of Springtrap for DBD on the horizon, and my love for both FNAF and DBD, I started planning something fanart wise…

I have a love-hate relationship with this guy. Lots of delicious complicated feelings. I hope to develop his design further in my head :3c

I love your stories for Hypokit I'm literally going to cry.. Like honestly you don't even need to make a complex lore with meaning for them just the personality you create for them is SO GOOD

I’m sure I could be prompted for the ideas that drift by while I think and draw, and I’ll likely still share the basics! It’s just a little exhausting trying to sort through it and pretty things up ^^; I still enjoy it!

Unfortunately my priority right now is just. Conserving energy… I still enjoy drawing!! Still enjoy writing :3c I’ll still have these thoughts and share them! They’ll just less complex, is all, haha

ITS HIM!!! With Redtail designed, I’d like to tackle Spottedleaf again sometime, but, while he’s in the spotlight…

I mentioned that I have a bit of a rewrite brewing involving Into The Wild, and I hope to have Redtail mean much, much more to the overarching narrative… Both in a “present spirit guide” sense, as well as a he had a huge paw to play in the past sense.

I’m really excited to iron out the kinks with it enough to share someday…

Another cat nobody asked for, but I was struck with inspiration for all the same…

REDTAIL

Across the entirety of my “career” as a Warriors fan and reader, Redtail’s design, in my head, has changed the least. Stocky, regal, low spotting, very autumnal, torn ear, points…

I’m currently re-reading Into The Wild for a budding rewrite project, though, so maybe that will alter it!

Design notes!

As mentioned in my general notes: stocky, sturdy, regal man! Very compact build, but relatively long limbs despite that.

Thick-furred all around, but his tail is all fluff.

Relatively broad face.

White-spotted paws.

Little red “beauty mark”.

Tons of colored freckles, all over his body! But primarily on his face.

Tiny heart marker on his chest.

Dual-colored nose! With his white paws, though, his pads are all pink.

Left foreleg, beneath the white, is primarily red.

Well-groomed constantly.

Scarring includes: Torn right ear.

Also… I think I’m going to try and pick up doing hypokits again, however, for the sake of further conserving energy, I will no longer be writing out full stories and character personalities for each one. Instead, I’ll likely propose a “oh, this is how I think this pairing would come together!” snippet. Short and sweet!

Please don’t spam the same request. The same character can be requested with multiple other flags, and the same the other way around with the same flag(s) for multiple characters, but try to keep each request unique!

Very round in shapes… Round all around!

An even split of her parents in terms of traits, colors, markings, etc…

Her father’s ears but with no inner ear fluff.

Mildly curly fur.

Tons of heart shapes within her markings.

Subtle white markings and spotting that present as freckles.

Also completely white paws!

Mostly-white face, lots of torbie patches scattered around.

Green only in left eye.

Fluffy, dense, feathery tail.

“Hair” “bleached” from stress.

Scarring includes: None! She’s a meddie.

I had thought way more people suggested Silverstream……..

SILVERSTREAM

I wish we got to see more of Silverstream beyond just… Lovesick tragic fridged wife.

She took me literal months to make I’m so burnt out her and I never want to look at her again, design notes are not gonna be very detailed…

Basically a mini-me of her father in terms of markings.

Basically a mini-me of her mother in terms of coloring.

Very sleek, medium-length coat.

Heart chest patch coupled with apple seed patches indicative of her lineage.

Surprisingly stocky build, very sturdy.

Longer face and, ears, and legs from her WindClan blood. Longer legs come from her father.

Dark eyes. It’s personal preference, but I dislike Silverstream designs where she’s especially light in color - especially her eyes.

Teardrop markings below her eyes.

Scarring includes: None!
