I'm going to participate in Artfight this year!! i'm on team Crystals :3 I do not have a card yet, and might not make one? i'm unsure for now aaaa >_<' EITHER WAY, have my Artfight!! any fellas I've posted about (Starluck/my chancesona, my main oc who I posted about with Gasharpoon and other sillies) are definitely on Artfight, so if you'd like to draw them, you can do so when it starts!! DUDE a few hours ago I was watching a stream made by the official VA of Gasharpoon of them playing as Gasharpoon, and someone asked the va “if you had hair, what color would it be?” And they (the VA) said “pale white”

A bit later, the VA responded to someone talking about barber Jason like “they took my HAIR! I was- I was supposed to have hair! There was a poll in the forsaken discord about it.”

AND HEHEHE ALRIGHT!!!!! I’ll start with gasharpoon headcanons and then maybe jump into my own au and stuff!!!

Gasharpoon would be really tall (I also hc ahab as much taller so!! Following that :]), he uses any pronouns and lwk does not care about gender or pronouns (as long as people see them for who she is which. is the captain of the pequod)

They wouldn’t really care about labels (I feel like he wouldn’t focus on "unneeded details when the whale is still out there")

She would have really long hair, not really caring for them much if at all (he would probably let people close to him to care for his hair!! But also it would be really tangled and messy and broken, it would get so bad that people would suggest him to cut his hair. Which! It won’t do!)

She would definitely have favourites in the crew, and in my au this is shown by Sleepy being basically unable to leave gasharpoon due to it ordering them to stay next to her at all times LOL (i’m really self indulgent and cringe /silly but it’s okay. I’m free.)

,,,,I honestly forgot the gasharpoon lore post so i’m just gonna ball heavily (sorry the crew yall arent getting headcanons… yet)

Gasharpoon would definitely show when they care and they they, on the other hand, do NOT care,,

Their favouritism would be very obvious and they’d be pretty affectionate (whitout really caring about others seeing it, though preferring to be more alone with the person)

He’d be a bit oblivious to things sometimes, not really seeing social cues (example; if it unintentionally breaches a line of boundaries and isn’t being said it, he wouldn’t be able to tell if he did)

Although when she’s spoken to about boundaries, she would absolutely stop anything breaching that!

He’d giggle a lot and usually be very cheerful (when they’re not yelling orders) ^_^

I think I have more gasharpoon headcanons but I can’t currently think of anything else? I could honestly yap more about things specific to gasharpoon and sleepy but. That’s just really self indulgent /silly

Also in my au there IS a 1x (used to be inspired by champion 1x but uhm. Yeah. Im still sad that the skin had to go,,,,,,) and they’re half bird!!!! They can transform into an actual bird (and shapeshift in general)

^ I haven’t thought much about 1x in this au, she’s gonna need a heavy redesign/rewrite and I currently am focusing on a bunch of other projects n stuff,,,

But yeah I feel like a lot of the time Betrayed doesn’t really care about its hair until one day it decides to lock in and fix it up again. Gasharpoon is definitely willing to let Betrayed style his hair and cut it too, because he likes it long but not too long, you know?

Also a couple small additional hcs

-Betrayed HATES gold and gold things, while Gasharpoon likes them and is really just fond of anything shiny

-I also hc it takes them both a while to tell anyone else about their relationship lol. They start being openly more affectionate towards each other at some point and 5 months later reveal they’ve been dating that entire time LMAO they don’t do much PDA at all but post reveal you start seeing them hold hands a lot and kiss occasionally

well apparently no one else seemed to realize it was betrayed 1x and Gasharpoon, so I decided to specify lol

Anyway here you go

-I hc them as close friends to lovers. They always kinda had feelings for each other but Betrayed has trust issues and also just generally feels like “I’m not supposed to be feeling this way” but burying the feelings is of no use. They happen eventually though!

-Gasharpoon is fond of pet names and stuff like that, he’ll call Betrayed “my emerald” “my jewel” “my treasure” “my love” etc etc. Betrayed doesn’t really do that but sometimes they do call Gasharpoon “my beloved” (although usually to other people)

-Since Gasharpoon only has one hand, she’s very limited in things she can do, so Betrayed helps her out with a lot of things. They’ll help brush her hair and help with cleaning and they’ll hold things for her while she has to do something else briefly. Gasharpoon really appreciates this and will give Betrayed small things in return.

-Gasharpoon’s love languages are words of affirmation and gift giving. Betrayed’s love languages are physical affection and acts of service.

Since betrayed (and 1x in general) is the embodiment of hatred, I feel like she’d have a bunch of anxiety, prompting them to not call people by their name unless absolutely needed or if he REALLY wants to taunt someone,,, due to that she’d deffo be not used to calling anyone by their name, let alone pet names of all things!

Would betrayed do silly haircuts for gasharpoon,,,, like,,, mess around with his hair and do haircuts like putting it in ponytails, braids, etc etc,,,,,, I feel like betrayed would either be amazing or HORRIBLE at hair maintenance (either taking care of their own hair meticulously or just never even bothering. No inbetween. OR she used to not bother and then fell for gasharpoon and started bothering to learn how to do proper hair stuff to help him)

okay here are some hcs

-6’4, Bigender Bisexual he/she it

-Hair is similar to LC Ahab’s, but instead of going to waist it goes from slightly past shoulders-mid back and it’s not fully gray, kinda just a lighter black with some white streaks, but the waviness of it is the exact same as LC Ahab’s.

-Yeah she’s insane, but she’s very kind too. Sometimes she uses this to manipulate but mostly it’s just because she just is a kind person, despite her craziness/evilness

-Since Builderman and 007n7 among others were canonically among her crew, I imagine she knows things about them they’ve never told anyone else, or they’ve told few others. The topic of favorite colors came up and 007n7’s was assumed to be blue, and then red, which 007n7 confirmed, but he was lying. But Gasharpoon stepped in and said “no, his favorite color is purple.” (Noli reference haha) He knows this because that’s what his version of 007n7’s favorite color was, and that’s the same for this version, too.
