I just realised that I never really paid attention to Bob's design before. I actually can't believe how many details I overlooked initially.
I thought his design was pretty simple. Three pink slimes in a trench coat.
But he's not.
He's three pink slimes in a lab coat.
Viktor's lab coat specifically.
'it could just be a coincidence. Maybe that's just the standard for all lab coats on the range' I hear you saying.
But what about the fake cardboard slimepedia? It was obviously made by Bob and it perfectly matches Viktor's.
Viktor's slimepedia looks very different to Beatrix's which is the standard one which tells me his is personally modified. That's a story for another time, but the fact that Bob specifically designed his fake Slimepedia after Viktor's raises a couple theories.
Bob desperately wants to be perceived as human, so could it be that he views Viktor, the one who interacts with him the most, is Bob's role model for what a human looks like? Could that be why he tries to copy him?
Did Viktor gift him that coat or did Bob swipe it from him?
Is Viktor's slimepedia the only one Bob has seen? Does Bob think all slimepedias look like that?
This is so cute I'm gonna die.

I wonder why there isn't a ton of content of the ranchers interacting with one another. I'd think that would be the most popular type of content in this fandom given how collectively we all seem to agree that the ranchers just need to be closer with one another.
Is it maybe because people don't want to deviate too much from canon? Or is it maybe because it's hard to imagine how they would interact if they did?
I don't know. I feel like in the actual game, the ranchers are all a little... Cold? They never mention each other and they don't exactly seem like the type to be all buddy buddy with their neighbours despite all of them confessing to Beatrix that they're actually pretty lonely at least once throughout the game. The only two who have actually interacted away from Beatrix are Mochi and Viktor, but that was more of an attempted robbery than a friendly interaction. At least on Mochi's part.
I guess Viktor is also the closest rancher to Bob.
Still, we need more of the ranchers just being buds. Realistically, you'd wanna be as close to your neighbours as possible if they're literally the only human beings for a thousand light years, no?
I don't know. I wonder what you guys think.

How does Bob interact with other slimes?
I know, it's a little interesting to think about, but I actually got a request for this one.
Pink slimes: he's fine with them, but he doesn't like interacting with them much for fear he'll be grouped with them.
Rock slimes: actually thinks they're pretty cool. He respects their overall lack of craps to give.
Tabby slimes: probably his favourite slimes. He may share his chicken with them if he feels generous.
Phosphor slimes: nice light source and they're pretty sweet.
Boom slimes: the loud explosions scare him. The slimes themselves are pretty friendly, but he's nervous to get close.
Rad slimes: again, can't get super close to them, so he generally keeps his distance.
Crystal slimes: he finds them super pretty and likes interacting with them, but they also prefer their distance.
Honey slimes: incredibly sticky, but they're nice, so he likes them.
Hunter slimes: a little intimidating and they're competition for chickens, so he doesn't really like them. They are pretty nice though personality wise.
Quantum slimes: they're very fascinating to him and they're very friendly, so he likes hanging out with them.
Dervish slimes: they're really cool and pretty. He admires them, but doesn't interact with them a ton.
Tangle slimes: really good friends of his. They share painted hens all the time.
Mosaic slimes: he finds them absolutely gorgeous but is too shy of them to interact.

Assuming you played the 2nd game:
Thoughts on Gigi ? 👁️
She's so cutesy and brings me joy but i rarely see people talking about her :(
I did not unfortunately, but I have watched multiple playthroughs.
I did absolutely love Gigi's character. She looks kind of like a bunny to me if that makes sense. I love her personality. I also adore her and Viktor's dynamic.
Huh... I always forget to involve her in these headcanons.
I really should. She's very interesting.

I want to talk a bit about plortonomics.
Particularly, I want to talk about the specifics of the more... Domestic use plorts. How are their properties affected by a slime's lifestyle? How are they used by each of the ranchers? And do they have any potential secondary uses.
Now, when I say domestic use plorts, I specifically mean the plorts that aren't used exclusively in industrial fields such as rad plorts, boom plorts and quantum plorts, etcetera
I mean the tabby plorts, the honey plorts, the puddle plorts, etcetera.
I'd first like to consider how exactly the plorts are used.
I always theorised that the actually important part of the plort lies mostly within it's outer shell. You crack open that shell and inside, you'll find a soft gloopy substance that carries most of the plort's unique properties.
However, this does not mean that the hard outer shell isn't important. It also carries a small portion of the plort's properties. A much lower concentration of it, but still very useful and valuable especially in the case of crystal slimes, rock slimes and mosaic slimes.
Again, this is just my theory, but I will be operating under the assumption that it's true for the rest of this post.
Without further ado, let's actually discuss the plorts themselves.
Beginning of course with the most basic plort, the pink plort.
They are not affected by what type of food the pink slimes eat to produce them nor what slime they form a largo with. Their plort is remarkably inert and mostly acts as a 'gap filler' in whatever it's being used in.
This is made clearer by how the ranchers use them. On top of aiding in the manufacturing of slime technology, the pink plorts also make for a great addition to meals to increase the ranchers' caloric intake.
See, the ranchers work gruelling days and their metabolisms are incredibly fast, so they need a lot of food ;however, they can't take frequent lunch breaks because of how demanding ranch work is. The solution? Break up a couple pink plorts and mix them into your meal. They're pretty tasteless and they add a ton of calories to their meals which they absolutely need.
When consumed on their own, again, they lack flavour. With the sparkly secret style, you may begin to feel glitter like particles inside the goop, but it still doesn't have a taste and if you try to find said particles, you will have no luck doing so. It's a big mystery.
Next we have the Tabby plorts. Otherwise known as a rancher's best friend.
They all have absolutely abysmal sleep schedules, so consuming tabby plorts definitely helps them keep their energy levels up.
Tabby plorts aren't really affected by the type of meat the tabby slime eats, though it is affected if the plort comes from a largo. When a tabby plort comes from a tabby rad, boom or quantum largo, it becomes inedible. The best largo to get your tabby plorts from, especially If you plan on using them as an energy source, is a pink tabby largo. The honey tabby is also a pretty good mix, but it may make you a little too hyper. Just crack open the tabby plort and add about two tablespoons of the contents into a glass of milk. It doesn't taste like coffee, it's actually pretty tasteless, but it'll work almost instantly.
Next up, Phosphor slimes.
You typically would not eat a Phosphor plort, but it wouldn't kill you. You will get a stomach ache though. Now, largo produced phosphor plorts do not shine as brightly, so if you'd like a dimmer light source, you'd opt for that as opposed to a pure phosphor slime made plort (side note: this is purely hypothetical. I'm aware this doesn't apply to the actual game.)
The ranchers all have unique uses for them. Beatrix uses one as a night light. It soothes her. Mochi uses them in decorative displays when she's not too busy. Viktor uses them to read when he can't sleep. They do go out periodically, but it gives his eyes periodical breaks. Ogden has completely switched out all his lights with phosphor plort lamps because they are much better for the environment.
They have also discovered that rubbing some of the goop in their hair makes it glow temporarily and look super cool. Beatrix always rubs some on her ends for fun. Viktor just always subconsciously smears a handful of the stuff onto his hair. He doesn't even notice he does it anymore. Mochi has tried it a couple times and uses it for cool styles. Ogden has tried it once and never again.
Then we have puddle slimes. A great thing to have in your vac pack if you're going to be away from your ranch for a bit. The water in the water tank is not always clean as it comes from random ponds and burst pipes most of the time. Puddle plorts are a very convenient source of drinking water. It's always clean, it's pure, and the outer shell isn't too tough, so you can usually bite it off easily enough and take a swig.
Of course, puddle slimes only rely on water for nutrition and they cannot form largos.
The same cannot be said for honey plorts.
When their outer shell is cracked, it reveals a substance very similar to regular honey, but it is very different to the stuff you'd find in earth. For one, it's a million times sweeter. The outer shell also makes for a delightful snack ranchers may carry around to munch on if they need some suger in their blood to keep them from dropping.
The food the honey slimes eat does greatly affect the taste. Mint mangoes give the plort a more candy like taste with a light minty aftertaste. Cuberries make for a honey plort that is certainly too sweet. It still tastes lovely, but you probably wouldn't use it much. Phase lemons are a great fruit to produce honey plorts with. Some phase lemon honey plort goop could cure a sore throat in no time. Phase lemons tend to give the plorts a sparky sort of carbonated feel which some ranchers, not naming names (Viktor) find very pleasant. Pogofruit give the honey plort a sort of tart flavour that is absolutely amazing for sweetening tea. Prickle pears produce the mildest tasting honey plorts. If you're not a huge fan of sweet things, you'd opt for these.
I wouldn't normally include hunter plorts in this, but as they are technically edible, they get a quick mention. When eaten, they temporarily give an invisibility effect which is pretty cool. Viktor uses them the most when he's conducting experiments that involve feral slimes so they don't attack him.
Anyway, sorry that got a bit long. This is just a fun idea I was thinking about.

Okay, this is gonna be a long one.
This is: how each of the ranchers interact with each slime type. Each rancher will get their own post. I'll start with Beatrix, but you guys can request which rancher you'd like to see next.
Pink slimes: she likes them. They're just super low maintenance and pretty. She has the party sunglasses on all of them. They get treated to all the carrots that come from farming Odd Onions and all the pogo fruit she gets from trades.
Rock slimes: they're very nonchalant which she finds cute and they like their space. Whenever she encounters them in the indigo quarries, she actively looks for heart beets to feed them.
Tabby slimes: what's not to love? They're kitties, they're very playful, they like stealing stuff for fun. Whenever she turns her back on them, they always jump up to boop her to which she always responds by vaccing them and shooting them upwards over and over which they love. You can't convince me she doesn't go into the tabby corral after a long day to unwind with the kitties.
Phosphor slimes: she absolutely loves them. They roam the indigo quarry ranch expansion freely. It makes collecting the phosphor plort a nightmare, but Beatrix likes giving them the room to fly around.
Boom slimes: she's wary around them due to how dangerous they are, but she loves them anyway. They give her a ton of trouble. She always has music playing in their corral as well as a bomb toy to keep them entertained.
Rad slimes: they're very mischievous and probably get scolded the most out of all the other slimes. Beatrix splashes their radiation rings to make them disappear while trying to get them to stop trying to give her acute radiation sickness every time she goes into the corral.
Crystal slime: they unfortunately have to deal with having their favourite food be inconvenient to grow, but they get a crystal ball toy for their trouble. They're a lot calmer than the Rad slimes, but they still prefer their space, so Beatrix respects that.
Puddle slimes: Yeah they get the ultimate princess treatment. Beatrix would forfeit all her worldly possessions to these absolute angels if they so wished.
Honey slimes: they absolutely love getting pets and snuggles, but they're incredibly sticky and leave behind an extremely sticky residue, but you'd have to be an actual monster to deny them the cuddles.
Hunter slimes: Beatrix absolutely adores these ones. They're like tabby slimes on steroids. They're almost worth the exhaustion of collecting roostros to feed them.
Quantum slimes: she has to scold them every time they escape their corral. She has a mini heart attack every time she sees those stupid holograms.
Tangle slimes: she has tripped over those vines a bajillion times. They're pretty sweet. Very cheerful, and they have a huge presence, but they're pretty... Polite?
Mosaic slimes: gorgeous. Diva behaviour. They're beautiful and they know it. They're like... The swans of the slimes. Beatrix absolutely spoils these little smug frickers.
Dervish slimes: she made the mistake of putting their corral near a silo. They got pissy and flung most of her stuff everywhere. She got mad at them, but it's pretty hard to stay made at them. Their secret style is absolutely gorgeous.
Fire slimes: puddle slimes part two. She absolutely loves them and treats them like fragile babies. They have a burning charcoal toy in their incinerator.
Honorable mentions:
Quicksilver slimes: slippery lil frickers. It's a whole workout trying to chase these things around Mochi's little map. She still thinks they're cute.
Glitch slimes: they're hilarious to her. Seeing a flying 'puddle' slime added like thirty years to her lifespan.
Saber slimes: by far her least favourite slimes. Literally just cannot stand them. They're mean :(
Let me know who you want next!

Ever since the whole Mochi trying to hack Viktor incident, these two have a very passive aggressive relationship.
Although Mochi vehemently denied ever trying to hack Viktor's data server, Viktor is not a moron. In fact, he's the furthest thing from. He's still very aware that any chink in his data server's security would probably allow Mochi to successfully hack him, so he's naturally a bit wary around her. She knows that she's been caught, so Mochi actually wouldn't dare try it again.
At some point, Viktor considered completely banning her from even trading him for manifold cubes as a consequence for disrespecting his no. However, Viktor is too sweet for that and simply gave her a gentle but firm talking to. Explaining that his monopoly over the production of these Manifold cubes was the same as her monopoly over the quicksilver slimes and plorts. Mochi has yet to challenge this.
I did start thinking that maybe Viktor would have at some point relented and just given her the formula, but now that I actually think about it, selling the Manifold cubes is likely Viktor's only source of income and that without it, he wouldn't be able to conduct his research. His creations while incredibly lucrative in theory are rarely applied in a way that could produce an income. Usually because Viktor considers using them unethical.
Take the plort cloning machine for example. For a brief while, Viktor was essentially sitting on probably the most lucrative invention known to man, and had it been Mochi who'd invented it, I can totally see her use it, but Viktor immediately destroys it once he verifies that it works. Not only because it's incredibly unfair economically, but also because he values actually ranching slimes and getting the plort normally. If he's the only one who has a plort cloning machine, he'd unfairly dominate the plort market. Mochi would still have her Quicksilver plort, but everyone else would be royally screwed. If he gives one to everyone, the plort market completely collapses because now there are no rare plorts and without having actual slimes to collect the plort from, everyone just ends up with a bunch of plort that no one wants or needs.
Viktor had absolutely no problem letting Bob reuse that technology in the chicken cloner because that's actually (in theory) a convenient but ethical use for it. I say 'in theory' because the chicken cloner only works like 50% of the time, so you rarely end up making a profit, so even if it was unethical, it wouldn't be that big a deal.
Viktor still has some copied plorts, but he has never sold a single one. He just experiments with them.

I like to say maybe viktor often forgets to eat, and has some of the time “a very sad, empty, grumbling, stomach” as he often would rely on Ogden to exchange a meal for him every so often, i want you to build on that if you feel like it, it would be interesting to know how Ogden would reply
That is actually very interesting because I did have a similar headcanon, so I'll go over that and then get to the whole Ogden interaction.
See, Viktor values efficiency over all. He literally created the manifold cubes, a very sought-after resource, for the sake of saving time.
I headcanon that he doesn't like wasting time with three full meals a day that he'd have to prepare, sit down with and eat. His diet mostly consists of protein shakes, water and supplements. Whenever he does eat actual food, it's always something he can eat while working so he doesn't waste time.
Now, usually this wouldn't be a problem for him. Viktor thrives off of routine, so eating and drinking the exact same stuff over and over is pretty easy.
However, it's not the healthiest. Viktor knows that he really ought to eat more and that while he tries to get all his nutritional needs fulfilled through these supplements, but you can't really substitute a balanced diet.
That being said, Viktor wouldn't even have to reach out to Ogden for help with this problem. All it took was a five minute small talk chit chat over the range exchange and a basic remark Viktor made about 'running on coffee' that day, and Ogden was immediately insistent on helping Viktor out.
So, a sort of trade arrangement is established where Ogden will trade warm meals for various types of plort and the occasional slime.
It does help that past a few dietary restrictions, Viktor is not picky and is usually appreciative of Ogden's help.
Ogden did try to introduce Viktor to the magic of Kookadobas, but he was heartbroken to find that Viktor did not appreciate it. Well, more for him. Viktor was of course apologetic about it, but he, like many, absolutely despised the taste of Kookadobas.
Apart from the dishes involving Kookadobas, Viktor actually greatly enjoys Ogden's food. It's sometimes the highlight of his day.
Thank you so much for the ask and also for that amazing concept. I actually loved that a lot. I just love the ranchers being all compassionate and caring towards one another. When you think about it, they're all each other have for a thousand light years. Which, by the way, is just such a ridiculous distance. But anyway, I think this was my favourite headcanon so far.

Things I will never be able to get over.
- Mochi has tried, on multiple occasions, to hack Viktor's servers. For what purpose? To steal the formula for his manifold cubes.
Mochi offered him a ridiculous amount of money for the formula. Viktor politely declined. Later, Viktor noted several attempts on his data server's security. He asked Mochi if she had anything to say on the matter. Mochi politely declined.
- speaking of Mochi's hacking tendencies, she has also altered the slimepedia entry for her own manor. Giving us this masterpiece: "Mochi's Manor is one of several of its kind, (and this one isn't even the best one) owned by the great Mochi Miles. Her accomplishments are known throughout the galaxy, earning her the respect of every rancher on the Far, Far Range. Other ranchers can't even compete. They were even going to give an award to Mochi, but she said no thanks. "
The slimepedia entry concludes with an error note stating that this entry has been edited by an 'external source'. I wonder who could possibly do such a thing.
- lines Viktor has said including:
Please do not consume this gift.
----
Sorry, Beatrix. I am in the middle of something. Specifically, I am in the middle of an arguement between a toaster and my washing machine.
----
I've updated my simulation projections for this phase and I'm confident they will be accurate.
They have even accounted for this exchange. Even if I- I- AAAAAACHOOOO!
PERFECT!
-Viktor's unwavering resolve to remain ethical in his practices.
He created a plort cloning machine but then immediately destroyed it so that it wouldn't damage the plortonomics.
He realised that his underwater workshop was heating up the slime sea and swore to completely shut it down if he couldn't find a way to stop that.
He refuses to let the beautiful environment of the range suffer as a result of his research.
- Ogden commenting on how absolutely ridiculous the amount of carrots you get when growing odd onions is.
-Ogden telling Beatrix that if he doesn't respond the next day, he's been overthrown by Hen hens.

ahh i love your headcanons!!! i need to post more of mine fr. do you have any about relationships between the ranchers?
Ahhh! That's so sweet! Thank you!
I did actually think about this. The other ranchers practically never interact with one another, so we can only speculate as to how they'd interact.
Let's start with Mochi.
Ogden: she would probably struggle to be mean to him. However, I don't think she'd help him with his Kookadoba dilemma. Mochi values her time a lot, and the idea of working for someone doesn't sit well with her, so she would politely but firmly decline Ogden's plea for help. She is always willing to trade with him though.
Viktor: she generally dislikes him and thinks he's weird. She did not help him with his Slimeulation for the same reason she didn't help Ogden. She was actually reluctant to trade with him because interacting with Viktor is a very... Anxiety inducing experience if you've never met anyone like him. He has the vocabulary of a Victorian gentleman with the cadence of a tormented Chat GPT bot. Mochi now finds it a little endearing, but he still freaks her out.
Bob and Thora: she only trades with them. Bob relies on her as his main chicken source.
Then Viktor.
Mochi: he's cordial and polite. He's always willing to handle any tech issues she may have, but Mochi is very capable of solving most of her tech related problems by herself, and she is too proud to ask him for help either way. He doesn't help her with her Quicksilver plort collecting purely because he lacks the stamina to run after quicksilver slimes. He was very apologetic about being incapable of helping her, but secretly he was probably relieved to not have to work for her.
Ogden: once again, Viktor was incapable of helping him collect Kookadobas. This kid cannot run for the life of him. There is no way he'll be capable of collecting Kookadobas while evading the sabers. Ogden finds Viktor polite, kind and cheerful. Viktor is always willing to provide tech support whenever Ogden may need it, and Ogden is always willing to trade with him.
Bob: Viktor is the only one who interacts with Bob outside of trades. I headcanon that due to his social incompetence, he doesn't realise that Bob is not actually human. He considers Bob an 'associate' of his, and exchanges chicken for help with his research. However, once Viktor discovers that Bob is in fact a few slimes in a trench coat, I imagine he would be so excited and try to help Bob evolve more and more. A talking slime is like the height of what Viktor would consider a great discovery.
Thora: he doesn't interact with her much past trades.
And finally, Ogden.
Mochi: he does not help her collect quicksilver plort as he can't really move around that much. He is always nice to her. He is the human embodiment of kindness after all. He's always open to trade.
Viktor: he couldn't help Viktor either because he just didn't understand the concept of the Slimeulation and quite frankly, Viktor did not want to send someone he couldn't guarantee would make it out safely, so unfortunately he could not help. Viktor genuinely enjoys his company and for a while, Ogden did kind of act as a social director for Viktor for a while. Viktor would come to him for social advice.
Thora and Bob: he's kind to them and makes an effort to fulfill trades for them, but he doesn't really form a connection with them.
This is the best way I could really headcanon their relationships while still staying as true to the game as I could. Unfortunately, despite the fact that this game has some of the most brilliantly written NPCs I've seen, they are quite underdeveloped. That does give the fandom more freedom to headcanon them to their heart's content, so it's not too bad.
Again, thank you so so much for the ask. It means a lot. I'm sorry it took a while and I'm sorry if it feels a bit... Dry? I do have more relationship headcanons, but they rely on expanding the NPCs' stories past the canon. Giving them back stories and such, and I'll be definitely willing to share them once I develop the characters more in my AU.
And yes, I'd absolutely love to see your headcanons.

The other ranchers practically never interact with one another for the course of the games. Although most people could probably come up with these in like five minutes, I came up with a few theories as to why each of the ranchers never helped each other like Beatrix did.
Now, that wording makes it sound like the other ranchers are selfish for not helping one another, but I like to believe they had some good reasons for not doing so.
Let's start with Ogden. Why did he have to wait for Beatrix to come along to get his beloved Kookadobas?
Let's get Bob out of the way first. He didn't help anyone because he has no interest in what they have to offer in exchange. Sure, maybe he'd like the spicy tofu, but he has no interest in doing all that junk for some tofu. He's happy just exchanging for chicken. This applies to all of the ranchers.
In Thora's case, I don't think Ogden would even ask her to do something that dangerous. Listen, I'm in complete support of the beefed up Thora propaganda, but I think the idea of asking a seemingly frail old lady to venture into the wilds to collect Kookadobas while evading the sabers would probably mortify Ogden.
As for Mochi, I feel like she's too proud to work for anyone. I don't think she'd be rude to Ogden of course, it's kind of hard to be rude to the living embodiment of kindness. I just think she'd politely decline.
Viktor would be so ashamed to decline, but I headcanon that while Viktor is strong, he has absolutely no stamina. Hunting for Kookadoba needs stamina and speed. Taking a moment to catch your breath is dangerous. Viktor also has a ton of research he can't just abandon to go gallivanting for Kookadobas on behalf of Ogden. He was of course incredibly apologetic about being incapable of helping.
In Mochi's case, her task is incredibly physically taxing which eliminates all three human ranchers.
Additionally, the idea of working for someone like Mochi would probably make Viktor, who is incredibly sweet and patient otherwise might I add, absolutely crash out.
In Viktor's case, while he's the only one who has managed to get Bob to work alongside him, Bob never actually helps him out with his task.
Unfortunately, Ogden can't go hunting for glitch slimes for the same reason he can't go hunting for Kookadobas.
Mochi was intrigued at first, but she likely refused to work for him out of her own pride.
He didn't even ask Thora.
Another reason is that the others do not have vacant portals on their properties. He can't get them to his underwater workshop. He would have been willing to give them one, but it was a hassle and Beatrix was willing to do it, so it was more convenient.
Beatrix was objectively the best option in each case because she is physically very fit, she had a vacant portal in her lab and she has a high jerk tolerance.

Mochi headcanon time!
- Mochi periodically cuts her hair super short. Her hair grows super fast and she doesn't like getting it too long because getting slime goo stuck in your hair is not fun and Mochi considers it beneath her.
- Mochi is a brilliant engineer. Really, Mr. Miles' biggest mistake was not taking the time to recognise Mochi's true potential because she has made some seriously cool stuff.
- she used to think Viktor was a weirdo and was always reluctant to trade with him via the range exchange for like three years. Now that she does actually know him, she still thinks he's a complete weirdo (she's not wrong), but she secretly finds it a little endearing
- Mochi started her little rhyming thing a few months after coming to the range. Being alone a ton of the time, she found herself talking to herself. Rhyming was just fun.
- her favourite slimes are quicksilvers, golds and quantums. The first two are obvious, but the quantums fascinate her.

Alright, it's best boy time. Viktor Humphries headcanons!
- Viktor cannot function unless his lab is pristine. If he can't practically taste the disinfectant, it's not clean enough. Everything has to be perfectly arranged. He also refuses to work unless his lab is freezing. If it's over ten degrees Celsius, he's not working.
-he absolutely hates coffee, but he practically lives off of it. He finds it bitter and unpleasant. Cream and sugar makes it bearable, but he'd rather fall asleep in the middle of an experiment than to drink black coffee.
-Viktor's favourite slimes are mosaics, dervish and Hunter slimes. He finds the mosaics absolutely beautiful, the dervish are mischievous and also stunning, and the hunters are playful, intelligent and their invisibility thing impresses him every time.
- Viktor has only encountered a party gordo once. He doesn't leave his lab often, usually opting to get 'supplies' from the range exchange. Viktor laughed for a couple minutes before feeding it. He still finds himself chuckling every time he remembers the absolutely ridiculous sight.
-he doesn't realise that Bob is not actually human. For a while, Bob was actually the closest thing to a friend he had on the range.
-he absolutely loves music and did end up getting a new fiddle after losing hope of finding his old one. He plays for at least an hour every day and to be perfectly honest, his music is a lot more calming to his slimes than any of the little radios in the corrals.

I think it would literally be illegal if I were to start with anyone other than Beatrix herself.
- Beatrix always operates in what she would call an 'organised mess' but what others would call just a plain mess and Viktor would call a nightmare.
- at some point, her hair was blond, but she felt it didn't suit her and dyed it that beautiful mint green once just for fun. She loved it so much that she decided to keep it that way and maintains it to this day.
-Beatrix is incredibly patient. It's part of the reason why she doesn't instantly hang up the Nimble Valley exchange area whenever Mochi starts bragging about how much richer, smarter, etcetera she is (back during the early stage of her storyline)
- her favourite part of owning a ranch on the range is being outside. She doesn't care much for the idea of being hunched over a desk all day drawing blueprints or spending her days inside baking Kookadoba pies. She likes getting to experience the range's nature, watching the wild slimes just do their own thing and subduing the feral slimes who go from angry and violent one moment to happy and cuddly the next.
- ever since she heard about Viktor losing his beloved fiddle, she always keeps an eye out for it. Admittedly, she's never went out to actively search for it, but she secretly hopes to be the one to find it so she can see his reaction to getting it back.

I refuse to let this game die, so what better way to try and keep it alive than to make a blog where I share every dumb idea that enters my head.
Now, these headcanons will mostly center around the human characters and their interactions with each other, slimes and the environment of the range rather than just headcanons about the slimes because apart from a few interesting ideas to consider, there's really not much to be said about the slimes on their own.
As he is my favourite, you will notice that a lot of my attention falls on Viktor Humphries, but otherwise, I'll try to keep the headcanons pretty equal for all the characters.
Of course, feel free to request headcanons about any specific character you'd like or even about AUs regarding them.
As with any blog ;however, there are a few rules:
1) no NSFW.
2) if an opinion I have regarding a certain character doesn't sit well with you, feel free to discuss it either via an ask, comments, etcetera, but do so respectfully.
3) if you would like to use any of my headcanons in fics, art, or anything of that sort, feel free to do so.
Yeah, that's about it. Enjoy!
