BIO.

being the eldest child in his family , it was pretty decided early on that the responsibility of carrying on their families job as new founder families. he knew that , and never once has fought what he knew was coming. despite being sweet and kind and gentle , it became clear as he grew that he was going to benefit from his drive to protect others. he was always looking to defend the little guy , and never once let others push him around. that helped when it was time for him to take up hunting , and while he did enjoy helping others , and was good at it ... his passion lied in fixing the cars of hunters who came through when he wasn't hunting. on a hunt , he found he wasn't able to save the whole family , but was able to save a little girl. when the dust settled , it didn't appear that there was any family left to take the child , and after some quick consideration , agreed to foster the child until a family could find her. when no other family came about , he was more than willing to become her adopted father. he'd come to like having her around , and admittedly wasn't sure he could give her up. he's since then moved out of the apartment above the auto shop he runs with his dad , and now has a nice family home in town that he and his daughter chloe live at. it's not far from either the shop , or the family farm.

BIO.

it shouldn't have been any joke that laura was going to end up being a hunter. yet , her father did everything in his power to keep that from happening. coming from one of the new founder families of the town , she knew the story. knew what hunters like her dad did for the town , and despite her brother being more than willing to take up the job for the family , laura was just as eager to learn the craft. there was resistance. and with that she rebelled. there was some push back back and forth , but ultimately her dad gave up , and laura has been hunting ever since. spending much of her time on the road , she has an apartment above her families shop , that her dad and her brother spend most of the time running. there's also a family home , and her brother's house that she frequents when she is in town. her time on the road has been what has made it so hard to settle down and plant roots. she does come around long enough to spend time with her cat though , and likes being in town when she's there. if only there was someone who could help give her a reason to start planting those roots. not stop hunting ... but actually start living.

BIO.

the torres family , one of the new founding families upon lifting the curse generations ago , he's the eldest remaining torres family member , and thusly the patriarch of the family. he used to be a fulltime hunter , until a massive attack on his family by a vengeful siren caused him to put up his hunting career , and has now opened a bar within saltanburn. he still hunts from time to time , though he spends most of his time running the bar , helping other hunters , and taking care of his daughter sofia , who while survived the siren attack , lost her hearing in the process. while miguel had been on a hunt , his family had been visiting the lake near the town. a siren , having taken up residence in the lake , they had thought had been driven away , had merely limped away to lick her wounds , and returned for more. she attacked the family. they caught on too late , and were taken by surprise. his wife , maria florres was one of the people to perish that day. his daughter , survived only by something they still don't quite understand , that caused her to not hear the song as intended , but instead in a screech that caused her to go deaf. her hearing ever returning. when he got home , and found the news of his families fate , he was overcome with rage , and gathered others in the town to find the siren , and kill her for good. it was a few months of grieving for miguel , until he was able to get up , and start moving forward. doing so with the help of the community of saltanburn.

we're gonna make this the first rule , as there won't be too many on her , but this is a NO HATE / DRAMA BLOG. i do not have the time or capability health wise to handle community drama , and this blog is intended to explore an idea i have been wanting to play with. next big rule ... i cannot always be here. i have chronic pain and anxiety and run several other blogs. when i have the muse for the characters on here , i will do my best , but do not hound me for replies. reminding me once is fine if i've been posting and it's gone unanswered , but no further than that.

this blog will be exploring a fictional town based on the CW show Supernatural , i will be putting a spin on this though , writing from the perspective of if HBO had picked up the series. that means there will be potentially HEAVILY TRIGGERING CONTENT on this blog. i will do my best to tag everything but expect violence , blood , and sexual content to be somewhat frequent on this blog. should i find anyone following my blog who is under 21 , i will block instantly. no offense , but i'm just more comfortable writing with mun's over 21.

i will be using formatted text , as well as gifs and icons in my posts , but this is not a requirement to write with me. i'm an aesthetic person , and i just find it helps me illustrate my content better. it will not change your chances of writing with me. i follow based on if i think we will write well together.

i love to ship. i love a good romance , and odds are i'll probably be game to at least discuss it. that being said , PLEASE ASK BEFORE ASSUMING A SHIP. it just makes me more comfortable to talk about a potential ship before jumping into it , and it helps with my anxiety.
