He is a good, flirtatious, mannered voidelf priest. He's DEFINITELY NOT secretly a void entity that will lure you into an intimate situation so that he can eat you….Well, maybe just a little…

But, he also likes sweets and sitting on your lap :3 he's nice....

Do you know how undead naming schemes work? Is it just like. A horror character/Shakespeare? Like I am thinking of a char but like do I just name them like any horror thing or. Basically is there a reasoning behind the name and what does that say about pre lorderan society

Mostly inspired by gothic fiction and folklore, I think Central Europe and Southern or New England Gothic when you're looking at Lordaeron, but I think you could pull from multiple cultures' and do what you want really (with respect for said culture in mind and so on). I usually take inspiration from horror-themed music, books or movies

In the lore they either keep their living names, or they change one or more of their names to reflect their darker rebirth as Forsaken because they're a bunch of spiteful gloomy castle-haunting sewer-crawling creatures who embrace their campy creepy character no matter what the living think. These guys intentionally add cobwebs to their buildings, tears in their clothing and put 8000 skull ornaments on everything

But it's usually a name that reflects who they were/experienced/are/want to be, what their profession or passion is etc. :-)

Looking back on your first piece of fanart for a fandom that shapes you is always crazy. The Character always looks so different. It's back when they were still an image to you, when they still had mysteries, before their face had fully been puzzle-pieced together. Before the Character was a continuum within you forever. Those early drawings hold the spirit of the ever-present yearning to re-experience something for the first time. The naive version of the Character, before you knew all of their story, all of their nuance, when you, to their world, were a naive version of the Viewer.

Anyway, I spent the whole morning talking about romantic relationships between dragons with mortal races in WoW universe and what kind of affairs Palliya had during her long life.

context: Palliya is my bronze dragon disguised as an blood-elf paladin.

Palliya, basically does not need a ROMANTIC relationship like humans do. However, many of the mortals with whom she somehow became close ended up wanting more with her, which broke their hearts when she refused. Not to mention how difficult it was for her, young dragon, to understand people's relationships. 

Palliya IS interested in the mortal races, but doesn't want to get too close to them. Sometimes she gets thrown into "situationships" and has to hold them back to not break any more hearths, or cause it would be hard to explain anything without uncovering her true identity "sorry i'm 100yrold dragon and you just a human, it's not gonna work well". Her doubt is kinda shown in the comic above. 

However sometimes she just might appeal to some elf who is short stay in the city.....in the end - entertainment for a couple of days and a new good friend (comic)

Mostly I'm just interested in exploring the theme of such relationships and kinda-aromanticism, since I haven't had such characters yet.
