Suna Rintaro x Reader
Your head rested on the desk as you daydream about what happened three days ago. Unfortunately, ever since that day, you've been feeling unwell and can't go to school. You can’t shake the feeling that you got sick because you were too caught up in everything that happened, it was more than you could handle. Each time you think back on it, a wave of nausea washes over you. Being close to him makes you anxious, especially considering how intimidating he was. It was only the first time this happened, and you hadn't been close before. Just like that, you find yourself preferring to observe him from a distance, lurking in the shadows, hiding away.
Your friends called you as soon as class ended, and they were all over you, clinging to your arms while you made your way to the cafeteria. You were pretty quiet, zoning out while they chatted, just scanning the crowd. That’s when you spotted him hanging out with his friends. Right when you were about to walk by, your eyes locked.
1…2…3
You averted your gaze, a rush of heat flooding your cheeks, leaving your face flushed with an unmistakable crimson hue. The sudden warmth spread like wildfire, kindling a whirlwind of tension that made you acutely aware of that fleeting three-second glance. A flutter of nervousness settled in your stomach as you tried to compose yourself, the moment lingering in the air between you two.
Your friends waved at them as you all sat at a table close by. You hold your neck to help yourself feel better in a moment when you really want to run away.
“Y/n you better eat to gain back your energy” it was Amber who told you.
“Yes babe eat up you looked like you were about to pass out at any moment” Hannah said.
You just stared down at your sandwich feeling nauseous at the moment.
“No, I'm not in the mood to eat” you simply replied, diverting your eyes from them.
“But what about your medicine missy?” your friend raised an eyebrow at you that almost remembered your mother in the same behavior as her.
Sitting at the table, you couldn't shake the feeling of Suna's intense gaze fixed on you from across the room. His eyes seemed to bore into you, sending chills racing down your spine and tightening your stomach with a wave of nausea. You could feel your palms growing sweaty, heart pounding, as your friends leaned in closer, concern etched on their faces. "Are you okay?" one of them asked softly, the warmth of their voice contrasting sharply with the cold dread that had taken hold of you. You struggled to find your words.
As their voices reverberated in your mind, a wave of dizziness washed over you. The overwhelming anxiety of being the center of attention consumed you, creating a sense that you didn't belong there. In a panic, you held your breath and dashed toward the cafeteria exit, making your way to the comfort room. Leaning over the sink, you struggled to regain composure, coughing until you eventually threw up.
You washed your face, the cool water refreshing against your skin, before stepping out of the comfort room . As the door swung open and you took your first breath of fresh air, you were unexpectedly jolted by a sudden collision. A startled hiss escaped your lips, your heart racing for a moment, only to reveal Suna standing right in front of you, a playful grin on his face as he blocked the doorway.
“Are you alright?” he asked, his voice a low rumble as he gazed down at you with concern etched on his features. His hands reached your arms gently, a warm and unexpected touch that sent a shiver down your spine, leaving you momentarily breathless and caught off guard.
“S-sorry about that..” you said in panic avoiding eye contact with him.
“You should eat doll face you look sick,” he simply said as he reached you out a bottle of water.
As he attempted to lean in closer, you instinctively shifted away, creating a noticeable distance between you. The surprised expression on his face reflected a mix of confusion and curiosity, as he tried to comprehend your unexpected reaction. The air around you felt charged with uncertainty, and he seemed momentarily at a loss for words, caught off guard by your instinctive retreat.
“Um, thanks?” you stammered, a blush creeping into your cheeks as you recognized just how wildly your behavior had spiraled out of control. A nervous chuckle escaped your lips as you ran a hand through your hair and awkwardly rubbed the back of your neck, seeking solace in the familiar gesture. The weight of your embarrassment settled over you like a thick fog, making you acutely aware of the stares from those around you.
“Come on, don't be scared. I’ll accompany you,” he gently said, giving you a concerned smile. He pulled you along and started walking towards somewhere.
“You don't have to,” you said, watching your feet move as you followed his tracks. As much as you wanted to avoid him, your body seemed to have a mind of its own, trailing after Suna.
“Here eat this,” he pulled out a bento box from his bag making your eyes widen in surprise.
“It's all yours doll.”
“I c-can’t have that…” you bit your lips in apology for not accepting his bento.
“Don’t worry doll face, it's safe.” he replied as he opened the bento box, before putting it in front of you along with the bottle and medicine.
Is this something he normally does??
You stared at him for a moment before glancing back at the bento box. You were having a hard time deciding whether to eat it or not. He chuckled at your innocence as he watched you completely confused.
“I’m Suna Rintaro, by the way,” he said suddenly. You looked at him in surprise, as if you didn’t know who he was.
I know….
“I apologize for scaring you earlier. We met at the party but didn't have the chance to introduce myself properly.”
He remembered..
“You remember me?” you asked, a hint of hope in your voice as you met his gaze, your eyes sparkling with a mix of amusement and warmth. Your heart raced a little, a sign of the emotions stirring within you.
“Yes how would I forget you doll face?”
“(y/n)” he whispered enough for you to hear it.
“Me too, I know you already! I always watch your games and I catch a glimpse of you every morning-” your smile gradually disappeared as you shared a secret he wasn’t supposed to know.
“Hmm You see me every morning? Tell me about it.” he demanded while tilting his head making you shut your eyes in regret for sharing too much information.
“I-its normal…because…we’re in the same school…” you whispered being mindful of your words.
“How was my game then?” Suna asked curiously, becoming intrigued all of a sudden. A sly smirk played on his lips, and a touch of amusement sparkled in his eyes, clearly enjoying the situation.
“Fine,” you said completely out of words.
His intense gaze seemed to bore into your soul, sending waves of unease rippling through your thoughts. The way his eyes, sharp and penetrating, flickered with an unreadable expression made it nearly impossible to feel his true thoughts. Each lingering stare left you tussling with uncertainty, igniting a whirlpool of curiosity and apprehension about what might be swirling in his mind at that moment.
“Breathe deeply, (y/n). I can almost tell that you’re having a difficult time.” He said with a low voice. You could almost feel his hot breath brushing through your cheek, as he leaned in closer.
He gently tucked a stray strand of hair behind your ear, his fingertips brushing against your skin with a soft warmth, as if he were carefully creating a moment just for the two of you.
“I think I should head out now,” you murmured, a hint of regret lacing your voice as the vibrant atmosphere around you began to fade. He paused for a moment, creating a comfortable distance between the two of you, yet his gaze remained fixed on you, filled with a mixture of curiosity and intensity. The air around you felt charged as he studied your every move, allowing you the space to breathe while still keeping you firmly within his sight.
“Hmm alright,” Suna firmly replied. As you stole one last glance at him, your heart raced with an odd mix of warmth and shame. You managed to muster a smile, but it felt clumsy as you stammered out a farewell. The words tumbled from your lips in an awkward flurry, causing his eyes to sparkle with amusement. He chuckled softly, the sound wrapping around you like a gentle breeze, as if to say that this peculiar moment was a memory worth cherishing.
Yes, it is worth cherishing…
As you made your way home, your thoughts swirled with excitement and disbelief. It felt surreal to have finally connected with him in such a meaningful way. You couldn't help but replay the moments in your mind—how he had looked at you with that charming smile, how effortlessly he engaged in conversation. The thrill of sharing his food, a simple act that felt so intimate, made your heart race. It was as if you had stepped into a dream where every detail felt vivid and extraordinary, and you struggled to focus on anything else as you walked down the hallway, your mind still lost in that memory.
As you stand in your bedroom, you find yourself captivated by the mood board hanging on the wall. It’s a tapestry of emotions, adorned with carefully selected photographs capturing his infectious smile and those fleeting moments you've taken. Threaded among the images are wistful edited, pictures of the two of you together, transformed into beautiful collages that highlight the connection you feel. Here and there, whimsical sketches of hearts dance across the board, surrounded by delicate swirls of red ribbon, adding a romantic touch that breathes life into your dreams. It is not just a collage it’s a visual deck that defines your heart's hope, pulling you one step closer to what you truly desire.
Him..

Suna Rintaro x Reader
Synopsis: Every morning, as the clock strikes at 7:00, you find yourself nestled in your favorite spot by the window, cradling a warm cup of coffee that releases a rich, comforting aroma. The world outside gradually awakens, and you eagerly scan the familiar path. Your heart flutters with anticipation each time you see him—Suna Rintarou—jogging past your house. With his effortless stride and focused demeanor, he glides along the sidewalk, his dark hair tousled by the morning breeze. As he approaches, you catch a glimpse of his concentrated expression, the way the early sunlight catches the silhouettes of his face, and you momentarily forget the rest of your routine. Each passing moment seems to stretch, encapsulating your hope that one day, he might notice you, too.
As you stand in front of the mirror, the soft bristles of your brush gliding through your hair, you find yourself lost in thought, gazing intently at your reflection. Memories flood your mind, transporting you back to that unforgettable moment when you first laid eyes on him. It was the first day of high school, and there he was—his piercing, siren-like eyes locked onto yours, captivating and enchanting all at once. The vivid recollection of his gaze still sends a shiver down your spine, a reminder of how a single glance can spark a whirlwind of emotions.
“Suna Rintarou” he introduced himself in front of the class
His name spread through the school like wildfire. You could easily tell who was into him and who wasn’t. Everyone knew him for his athletic skills, his sneaky antics, and his cool demeanor. He was a real threat on the volleyball court, that the opposing team found it super tough to handle him.
It’s strange how you can’t help but focus on him, captivated by the way his fingers fidget with his pen, each movement drawing your gaze. Every time you catch a glimpse of him from a distance, you feel an irresistible pull to watch him, as if he’s the only one who matters in that moment. You’ve memorized his routine, effortlessly tracking him through the hallways of the school. You know his friends by name, you’ve seen him dominate on the volleyball court, and you can’t help but feel a thrill whenever you watch him during practices and matches. Each moment is a blend of fascination and admiration that you just can’t shake off.
An obsessive thrill courses through you as you track his every move each night, using the shadow app on your phone. Hidden behind the dark, dusty bleachers, you watch intently, feeling the cool metal against your skin and the faint scent of worn wood surrounding you. No one knows you're there, a silent observer shrouded in the shadows, your heart racing as you become immersed in the scene unfolding under the muted glow of the gymnasium lights.
“Oy Rintarou aren't you going to the party?” Said by his friend Atsumu
They were packing their things and ready to head towards the shower room to get cleaned up. Suna sigh heavily as he ran his hair backwards before glancing back to Atsumu.
“Are you?” he asked the blond guy while scrolling through his phone.
“It might be awesome! The whole team will be there except for Kita-san, so you should come.”
“Hmm ok” Suna replied.
they make their way to the shower room, but before that he looks around the gymnasium and stares at the bleachers for a moment, you leaned more to the darkest side so he wouldn't notice you, he squinted his eyes and shrugged as he followed Atsumu, and it's your turn to stroll out of the dark towards the gym exit. You pull out your phone and dial your friend's number
“Hey! (y/n)”
“Tell me where the party at?”
“Oh, I was just going to tell you about it *giggles* it was on hannah’s house, she told me to invite you.”
“Thanks.” you mumbled
“Wear something awesome babe! Can't wait to hang out with you! It's your first ever party I’m going to tell Hannah about it.” your friend said in the other line making you roll your eyes.
As the call finally ended, you noticed Suna and his friend Atsumu casually walking toward their car, which was parked next to yours. Your cheeks burned with embarrassment as you approached, keeping your head down to avoid drawing their attention. You unlocked your car making them look at you and as you swiftly open it, you met his eyes, looking at you intentively, you almost bit your lower lip hiding your nervousness, and hurriedly got into your car.
He noticed you…
He looked at you for a moment with his own eyes, as if he was checking you out. Soon, you drove away with your hands shaking and sweat dripping down your forehead. Your cheeks felt hot, and you were breathing hard. You stopped your car for a moment to calm down and catch your breath. Rewinding the memory of him looking at you. Now you find yourself craving for him more and more.
Minutes later, as you parked your car, you were greeted by the lively crowd gathered in front of the house. The party had started, and you noticed many people arriving continuously. You looked in the mirror to evaluate your appearance; your light makeup looked natural, with a subtle flush of red on your cheeks. Your long, wavy hair added to your appeal, but you still hadn’t stepped out of the car.
“Hey!” your friend Hannah knocked at your window before opening your door and got inside.
“What's up with you, I thought party bores you?” she said, you just simply smiled at her.
“Nothing I just wanted to check out your party,” you said completely reasoning out but the main reason was to get close to Suna.
You scanned everywhere, not for long when you saw a familiar figure of him with his casual clothes, a hoodie, and baggy pants with his usual Converse he was with his friends nearly approaching. You unexpectedly met his eyes making you look away and heads inside as you start to heat up again, completely ignoring your friend's call.
Damn this is what I want but why can't I get close to him?
You walked past the crowd inside the smell of alcohol made you dizzy. You saw your friend Amber clearly making out in the kitchen, which nearly made you jump in surprise and shakes your head while smirking. She just handed you a can of beer after that.
"Oopss Sorry sweetheart.” As you accidentally bump into someone, and noticed it was Osamu.
“No worries.” as you ran towards the staircase up to the balcony to get some fresh air. you bit your lower lip and held both of your cheeks.
This is bad…..
“damn.”
As you turned your head, you were met by a pair of piercing eyes that seemed to lock onto you as he stepped onto the balcony. The lingering scent of cigarettes filled the air, sending chills down your spine and warning you just how close Suna was, the tension palpable between you.
“Excuse me, do you mind if I smoke here?” he politely asked. You just nodded, remaining speechless as your heart began to pound heavily.
You take a slow sip of your beer, the chilled liquid easing the tension that bubbles beneath the surface of your composure. As you lean back, you allow your gaze to drift toward him, who sits a short distance away, enveloped in a haze of cigarette smoke. With each drag, he seems to exhale not just the smoke but also a certain nonchalance that seems to dance in the air between you. The amber liquid in his glass glimmers under the dim light, casting playful reflections that momentarily distract you from the palpable awkwardness of the moment. You can’t help but savor the unique blend of relaxation and unease swirling around you, each sip grounding you even as your thoughts wander.
“Are you this? Quiet?” He mumbled, making you gasp softly, glancing everywhere thinking if he was talking to you or not.
“I’m talking to you doll face,” he said. You glanced at him, eyes widening in surprise.
“What’s your name?” he asked as he leaned towards you scanning your face.
“(y/n)” you breathe in as you whispered your name softly.
“Pretty name it suits you, doll.” he grinned.
“Do you wanna try?” Suna asked you pertaining to the cigarettes at his fingers when he noticed you staring at them. You just blinks innocently at him, which made him chuckled lowly.
Oh god…
Lost in oblivion, he pulled you close. His hand reached your lips, holding the cigarette between his fingers.
“Open your mouth,” he demanded
You slightly parted your mouth as he put the cigarettes at your lips, you closed your eyes as you dragged a smoke. You saw him smirk at what you did.
“Good girl…now exhale doll.” you did what he said getting swayed by his compliments makes you crave for more, and your desire gets stronger.
“Suna let’s grab some more drinks.” his friend said, Interrupting the two of you.
You stepped aside, making way for him. He chuckled at your Sudden embarrassment, you bit your lips so hard enough, almost couldn't handle what you felt at that moment.
“See you Doll face.” he simply said smiling at you as he made his way out of the balcony.
Your heart sank, a heavy weight settling in your chest, as if you were caught in a moment suspended in time. The yearning for his gaze, that electric connection, left you yearning for more—a deeper intimacy, a lingering touch, an affirmation of the bond you so desperately craved.
He finally noticed me….
