Drabble for the Levan-Erotoph siblings (feat. Gma Michelle)

Ajax looked up as he heard the screech of plastic on wood, blinking at Tana.

"...What are you doing?"

The little girl huffed at him, continuing her rather difficult task. "Trying to look out the window!"

"For what?"

"For Marnie!" she declared with a smile. Ajax stared at her. Slowly, he closed his book and set it down. "...Marnie isn't coming back."

She shot him a look. "You don't know that!"

He stared and she knew he was frowning, though she could not see thanks to his collar. "Tana. She isn't coming back."

"She is!" The little girl yelled back, stomping her foot. "She promised!"

Ajax closed his eyes, eyebrows creasing together slightly. "Tana-"

"Shut up!"

Ajax's eyes snapped open, inhaling, but was interrupted by someone else shuffling into the room. Both of them went silent, looking over at their grandmother.

Michelle blinked at her grandchildren, a concerned look on her face. "What happened? What's with all the yelling?"

"...Nothing, Grandma," Ajax muttered, pulling his legs up to his chest. Tana didn't say anything, staring at the floor. Michelle looked at her. "Tana? Sweetheart?"

Tana lifted her head and sniffled, tears pooling. "...Ajax said Marnie wasn't coming back."

A look crossed over Michelle's face, a mix of grief and sympathy. "Oh sweetie, come here..."

Her granddaughter rushed over to her, burying her face as Michelle pulled her into a hug. She gently rubbed the girl's back, shushing her. "Don't cry, dear, it's alright..."

Ajax watched silently, resting against the pillows. Michelle pulled back slightly, holding Tana's face and gently wiping away a tear. "Marnie is... in a better place now. But she isn't gone forever. She'll always be with us in our hearts..."

Tana sniffled, but nodded, glancing out the window. A small smile crossed her face, before she buried it back into her grandma's stomach, hugging her.

Outside, a wisp of a spectral tail slipped out of view. Marnie flew off into a nearby tree, curling her body around the branches as she looked through the window again. A small smile crossed her face as she watched her grandma and siblings in the living room.

"I'll always be with you..." she whispered to herself, resting her head on her arms as she continued to watch. "Promise..."

Because this is like an interview, the questions are written rather vaguely with implications, so it's up to you to write as of your OC notices the implications or not.

Here is some explanations to help you answer!

For 10, some monster characters are included because while your character might not KNOW them, they might have SEEN or HEARD of them... heh

For 15, the red robes is referring to the cult/cultists.

For 16, this just depends if your OC just sees it as regular stars, or knows it as The Eyes, or something like that.

For 19, "work behind the scenes" implies if your character would get their hands dirty AKA hurt others for the cult... like Ignacio! Or the group of cultists that targeted Father Gregor!

For 17–20, I say "group "because not all cults consider themselves as cults but rather another church or religious group, and cult members don't recognise they are in a cult either. WE know it's a cult; the characters (unless they are journalists or knows people in it) may not ;]

Ajax does not keep a diary, mostly due to his dad believing that they’re for girls only. However, if he did, there would be two entries that could be considered the saddest, one of which is after a future event.

The first entry: "I should have done something.

I wanted to do something, but I just stood there. I just watched and waited and now- Now she's gone. And it's my fault.

I just stood there like a coward and watched and now she’s dead and I

I buried her.

Maybe that’s why she doesn’t come over anymore. She probably hates me. I would too, if I was her.”

Erotoph Family Tree!

??? Erotoph: Michelle’s former husband. The two of them aren’t officially divorced, but are definitely no longer together due to him disappearing one day. Most likely for the best, given their rocky relationship and his supposed disappointment in his children. Neither of his children know what became of him and are uninterested in finding out.

Michelle Erotoph: The well-known local cat lady! Everyone who's met her agree that she's such a sweet and kind lady. Her children are especially fond of her, given that she raised them practically by herself. It's such a shame what happened to her...

Dexter Erotoph: The local exterminator. He's a bit weird, but pretty upbeat and at least generally friendly. Despite his friendly demeanor, he doesn't have the best reputation in some places due to an 'incident' that happened when he was young. It got him in some trouble with the police, who keep an eye on him whenever something suspicious happens.

Dorothy Erotoph: Also known as 'Dede'. She's a police officer who takes her job seriously and is very good at what she does. She's in charge of her own department and ends up taking on most of their work, leading to her working long hours. Though she loves them, she's barely home with her kids due to her work. So, she leaves them in the care of her mother. She used to leave them with her ex-husband, but then something... happened.

Marcus Levan: A former private investigator. He used to be a good man, but faced a case that was too tough to handle. This led to him losing his job and turning to alcohol to cope. He tried to be a good dad, but his drinking habits made it hard for him to control his anger. Currently, he is in prison, due to the strange circumstances surrounding the disappearance of his eldest daughter.

Marnie Levan-Erotoph: She was a bright and friendly girl, bringing smiles to those she knew. She had a well-known passion for things related to science fiction, specifically that of aliens. She owned a collection of badges that she would display on her clothes that showed off her interest, something that her parents regarded as 'childish'. She went missing under the care of her dad and no one seems to know what happened to her, not even her siblings.

Ajax Levan-Erotoph: A strange kid, a bit like his uncle. He rarely speaks unless spoken too and only really hangs out with his best friend, Lucky Daze, or his siblings. He was very close to Marnie, but was strangely unaffected by her disappearance, refusing to answer any questions asked about her. Most people leave him alone, believing him to be in some sort of grief.

Tana Levan-Erotoph: The youngest of her siblings and just the sweetest little girl. She seems unaffected by the problems in her family, simply running around and finding something fun to do. Her favorite holiday is Christmas, though Halloween is a close second favorite.

The boy who never wins — A post with Theodor's story (PT 1)

LONG, so I hope you're feeling patient!!

Daisy and Henry did not planned to have a child, considering their bad reputation in the family and the husband's lack of responsability. He made it clear that she'd either abort the baby, or she'd have to take care of it by herself and herself only. She was stubborn, and chose to spare her kid's life. Despite not being the richest, she had good conditions and a nice job, taking care of him as dearly as possible. It leades him to have an awesome life at home, but it was the complete opposite once he leaved.

Ambrose and Finn, two kids that were friendly at first, but soon began to pester him for apparently no reason at all — Ambrose began to, atleast. Finn slowly joined, not as harshly, but not stopping anything either.

As time passed, for some reason Ambrose began to be more aggressive and even upset, which worried even Finn himself. Later on, Theodor eavesdropped their conversation and found out that the kid's parents were very abusive to her, and she basically used him as a way to relieve stress. It made him feel guilty on fight back or even express anger, even though he did hated her with all his might. He thought that she didn't deserve it, despite everything.

At 8 years old, his mother got severely sick, which was a result from a bunch of symptoms that she decided to ignore. Even after being hospitalized, they were unable to keep paying for the exams and anything else needed, specially when Daisy had no one to contact in her family. At the very least, they informed that she could be taken care of at home, but would be needed a responsible and a lot of patience.

Said "responsible" ended up being Theodor himself. The boy had to find his own ways to get money for the two, even if he wasn't legally allowed to work. However, Theodor isn't able to deal with so many things at once. It was overwhelming — It was either school or home. He chose home. At 6th grade, the boy no longer attended to school.

His absence was soon noticed by Ambrose, who no longer had someone to let her anger out and avoid any sort of harm on herself. She was obsessed, and even though the town is small, she didn't know where he lived, and couldn't go after him. She missed him — Not because she wanted to, but because she couldn't not miss him.

Finally, after months, both Ambrose and Finn managed to meet with him by luck next to school. She began to practically beg him to return to school, that she's going to make her lessons for him if needed, anything for him to come back. Theodor obviously refused, saying that his mother is more important, what made her snap for having "the opportunity lost forever", just going after him.

Chasing after him through a forest nearby and finally managing to catch him, Ambrose began to basically beat the boy up, who tried to fight back this time, but it didn't changed anything. Finn tried to calm her down aswell, which was just as effective. The only thing that stopped her was a man, who appeared from the opposite direction.

The man promised not to tell anyone what he witnessed as long as they leaved, and that's what they did — Not out of respect, but fear, as he seemed covered in his own blood, but not looking weak at all. Theodor strangely didn't felt afraid, he was actually relieved that he was saved, and saw the stranger as someone just above, like a hero.

The man offered help to the boys' wounds, accepted gladly despite not being a good logical decision to do. He asked Theodor a little more about himself and asked where his parents or friends are, quickly discovering that the kid only lived with his mother and had no friends to go to.

" You see, I lost both my son and wife just recently. They are not dead, but I am not sure when I'll be able to see them again. Do you accept to be my little company on the meanwhile, son? "

He says, leading Theodor to a mansion on the hill that the boy never dared to approach before.

Everything Lost AU WIP

It was a quiet night. The sky was pitch black, illuminated only by the luminous moon that hung in the space above, assisted by the thousand freckles of stars that surrounded it. The town was peaceful, most people retired to their homes and waited for the morning to come.

All except one.

A small figure, clutching something in his hands, was running through the streets, panic across his face. He continuously looked behind him, trying to see a threat that was not there, stumbling as he continued to run. He ran up to one of the houses, pounding on the door as he looked over his shoulder.

“PUMP!” he hollered, knocking harder. “SUSIE! GRANDPA WONDER! ANYONE, PLEASE!”

He continued to yell and knock, waiting for someone to answer. With every second that passed, he knocked and yelled harder, practically screaming now. Judging by the loud stomping from inside the house, that seemed to wake someone up. He stopped, stepping back as the door violently swung open.

A girl stood there, brown hair tangled and messy, eyes blazing with annoyance. “WHAT DO YOU–?”

She stopped, the annoyance in her eyes softening slightly as she saw the state the boy was in. He was very clearly distressed, hair messy, eyes puffy and red, cheeks tracked with tears. “K–Kid? What are you doing out here? And where’s your mom?”

He rubbed his eyes, whimpering. “I– Y–You have to call the police!”

“What?! Why?!” She was more awake now, eyes wide as she looked down at him. “Skid, where’s Miss Lila?”

The boy seemed to break at that, letting out a sob. “I don’t– I don’t know! There were so many– And I-I didn’t want to- But she– she just told me to run–”

Susie got down onto her knees, grabbing the boy by his shoulders. She wasn’t harsh with him, but she was insistent, forcing him to look her in the eyes. “Skid. Calm down, take a deep breath. Can you do that for me?”

Skid, as she called him, hiccuped, trying to follow her instructions, still rubbing at his eyes furiously. She gently squeezed his shoulder, trying to help ground him. Her voice was soft as she spoke, comforting. “It’s okay, calm down. I’m right here, okay? I’m not gonna let anyone get you.”

Her words seemed to help somewhat, the boy’s panicked breathing slowing down as he continued rubbing his eyes dry. She gave him a smile. “There you go, kid. You’re alright. I promise you you’re alright.”

She guided him inside the house, still holding onto his shoulders. She placed him on the couch, grabbing a nearby weighted blanket and securing it around him. “You feel better now?”

He pulled on the blanket, holding it closer to him. Burying himself into it as he blinked at her with red puffy eyes. Susie gave him a lopsided smile, sitting on her knees in front of him. “Alright Skiddo. Can you tell me what happened?”

So she did.

Taking the blade once more, she shoved it violently into his stomach, forcing him to double over. She felt him cough, wetness hitting her leg as he wheezed. He slumped over, leaning against her taller frame. There was nothing but silence in the room as she waited, save for his heavy pained breathing.

After a moment, she felt him grip her wrist. Stopping her from pushing the knife any further.

“Lovely,” he drawled, slowly lifting himself. His grip was gentle, though his expression was very clearly dark and annoyed. Twisted by the blood dripping from his lips. “What do you think you’re doing?”

“What I should have done a long time ago,” she hissed right back.
