Upcoming WAYV Album 🌖

Asking my divination decks about the upcoming WayV album! because we're all anxious about this comeback & SM's consistent mistreatment, let's all be real Disclaimer: all these are just for fun and should not be taken seriously. like at all. take a hike, jump in ice, whatever you do, just remember this is really just for shiz and giggles.

What is the comeback sound + concept? Page of Wands, The Fool, 6 of Swords - Page of Wands & the Fool together are both very experimental vibes, which tells me that the music might be... not what they're used to releasing, which is kinda dark/EDM/rock. But then again, what is SM Ent if not known for experimenting with their groups every now and then? It's possible that this comeback's sound might be... brighter/lighter? It doesn't go as hard as the previous title tracks do. Think RV's Red & Velvet concepts. (Personally, it's kind of strange to me that a bright concept might be released during what some term the dark months... 🤷). The 6 of Swords is ambient music, which why I supposed Kun mentioned that the new album's songs are easy to the ear and that it might be a quick fanfave. Then again, the Fool & 6 of Swords are both cards of journeying, of moving forward, but recognizing that mesh in between the end and the beginning. Like flicking through the pages of an old photo album, wiping dust off of tables. Like that railroad track in Spirited Away. Old Hongkong aesthetic. Will there be subunit songs? Temperance, 10 of Cups - Again with the experimentation (Temperance). I feel like this might mean that there are subunits songs in the works but that they're still toying around with the idea of releasing it with this album or... in the repackaged? 👀 the 10 of Cups though is giving me the thought that there might be 10 songs, so this could really be a full album. How many versions will there be? Strength - I admit this is where I'm most pessimistic about haha. But the Strength card jumped out, and in this particular deck, Strength is card 8 (it's sometimes card 11 in some). I'm thinking there might be 1 for each of them + the likely photobook + one other version (that doesn't feel like an smini for some reason? it might be new packaging once again) When might this album be announced + released? Ace of Swords + Ace of Pentacles - In the past, the cards I drew indicated for a Sagittarius/Scorpio cusp release, which make it to be about late November. However, it seems like the dates have been bumped (again), and as this is an Earth suit, it could be the beginning of Capricorn season, which is about December 21st. 😥 What I'm wondering about though, is the Ace of Swords. This might indicate the "official" announcement (like on news outlets but no dates yet) may come at around late October (as Aces are associated with the waxing moon phase). How might the gp receive it? 8 of Wands, the Sun - It looks like for that song at least, it will be received quite well and quite quickly by the gp. As in, the GP might even really be boost towards streams of this song. They'll find it refreshing, almost earworm like. As if, "this song's so good, why is it over already?". Just crossing our fingers that we actually stream right this time lol 🤞
