Zoya being harsh is so realistic like she has been taking care of herself since she was a child and her beauty probably did get her a lot of unwanted attention. Her using harshness as a shield is pretty realistic like even in real life most women talk harshly to keep unwanted men away, they try not to be friendly. Even as a kid Zoya didn't have any adult by her side, she didn't have anyone who could protect her from the cruel world and she had to put up a shield. Her mother the person who was supposed to protect was the first person who took advantage of her beauty, at a terribly young age she had to learn that she wasn't safe And people have the audacity to say she's too rude and closed off like Zoya obviously is insanely gorgeous and probably got unwarranted attention, how do you expect her not to be harsh? She has clearly said she wanted to feel safe.

If you actually think about it, Zoya's anger in s&b made a lot of sense she worked hard to get where she was but Alina came out of nowhere and was handed everything on a platter. Of course she would be mad. I don't understand how people still vilify her for that. If someone took a job I worked for without even working for it I would be mad too.
