⚠️⚠️🚨🚨🚨Be careful of scams when taking on drawing commissions

⚠️⚠️🚨I might not be able to explain this clearly,but I don't want anyone to get scammed,which is why I'm writing this.A few weeks ago,while I was traveling,I received a commission request to draw someone's daughter.Of course,I was very happy to get a commission since I'm not very well-known.Unfortunately,it turned out to be a scam,so it wasn't worth putting in too much effort.

They used the commission as a pretext and attempted to scam me through PayPal,especially targeting those who are not familiar with it.I sent them a payment QR code,but they didn't use it,which I found strange.Then they asked for my email address.In fact,PayPal doesn't require an email address to make a payment.They would send a fake email disguised as a PayPal notification,telling you that the other party has paid.The scammer would then send you a screenshot of the fake payment,claiming that the money has been deducted and that you need to find the email in your spam folder.However,you never actually receive any money.The email would then tell you that the other party needs to pay an additional amount,and they would claim to have paid on your behalf and upgraded you to a business account.It would say that the money is pending and that you need to repay them using your own money for the transaction to be completed.This is all false because the seller never actually pays.Especially with PayPal,if you don't have money,what would you do?You might feel anxious and try to contact them.They would tell you to call the police.Think about it,is there anything a customer service representative can't resolve?When I suggested contacting customer service,the scammer didn't respond.PayPal doesn't have an insurance fund,and it's not possible to instantly upgrade to a business account.You can upgrade to a business account through the app yourself,but you need to submit business evidence.If someone asks you to buy any gift cards,they are definitely a scammer.

I don't want anyone to fall for this scam,especially emotionally vulnerable people,including myself.Think about those extreme cases where kids might do something rash in a moment of desperation.In this incident,I was scammed out of 1,700 Hong Kong dollars,which was my living expenses for several months.Of course,I said I would curse those scammers👁👁✡️✡️🔪🔪
