Thanks for all the responses to my fan game poll! I'm making a demo for an AU called ROT, which will feature a tutorial and the first zone in game. This is to test out RPGMaker2003 and art spriting, as well as gathering feedback for a full release.

ROT will include:

A quick tutorial covering puzzles, combat, and new quirks to watch out for.

Two racquet-wielding static purifiers under your command (and one emotional support elsen).

More ways to die by certain traps, puzzles, and poor decisions outside combat!

Strategizing equipment that grant buffs with some sort of drawback.

An odd merchant that's a bit eccentric (and not entirely human, but he's handsome).

Secret items, lore, and encounters with even more mysterious entities.

Carefree folk in the Spring Zone, indulging freely under the care of a kind guardian.

Fun interactions with NPCs and decorations as you make your way along the land.

Doubts and fears among the residents as the world is slowly rotting away by some unseen force.

More than two endings, look around everywhere!
