I have some videos available for download.

Where: Google Drive

IMPORTANT

You will need to download the videos instead of streaming them directly from the drive. This is because some video files are too big.

You need to be logged in to Google to download the videos. This is because Google Drive has a limit for anonymous downloads. I have tried several workarounds but there really is no easy way around it. If you get a "File has exceeded daily limit" message, right-click and choose Make a Copy. This adds a copy to your (signed-in) Drive account in mere seconds, from where it is easily downloaded to the local drive of your choice. (Thanks to anon for this tip.)

If you're not able to download a match completely because it breaks part of the way through, your download probably timed out because the file is large and your internet is too slow to handle it. Send me an ask/message and we'll try to resolve it--though I can't promise quick replies sorry. (Also, I'm biased so I'll probably be more helpful if I know you're from somewhere with slow internet--equity and all that 😅)

Do you have <match name> available for download?

I have uploaded--and will upload--all videos I have on that Google Drive folder that I linked above. If it is not on there, then I don't have the match.

Will you be uploading videos for <upcoming tournament/match>?

I will try to record and upload videos for tournaments that are broadcast where I live. Unfortunately, this likely just means the Olympics and World Cup matches.

Do you know where I can find <match name> if it's not on your Google Drive?

In the past, I have posted links to matches under the appropriate tags, but it's not something I can do all the time now. I'll try to make posts for big tournaments and big matches, but I can't make any promises.

How did you record/capture the match videos?

I used a screen/audio-recording app called Camtasia.

If you want to do your own recordings, there are other apps out there that can also do screen recordings. Points to consider are:

Does it also record audio?

Will it have a watermark? (Some apps put watermarks if you use the free version)

How long will it allow recording? (Some apps put a limit to the recording time if you use the free version)

Unfortunately, the ones that would tick off all the points above are all paid.
