We’re all leaves taped to a window.

People. All people want is a purpose. Some people want to be hero’s. They want to protect and save and do whatever they can to make where they live a safer place for not only them but for the people they love. In reality, we’re all leaves taped to a window. When leaves become life, they’re bright colored, alive and healthy. As leaves grow older and older by the day, one day they become brown and dull. They become empty and it seems as if they’re tired of the routine of living every day hanging in trees or blowing in the wind, or even taped to a window. If you were told to compare similarities between a person and a leaf, you would have a blank sheet of paper. People and leaves have similarities that no one even thinks about. Close your eyes and imagine a leaf taped to a window. Imagine it fast forwarding through the days or years and watch how it slowly crinkles up and dies. Now imagine a human. A tiny little human taped to a window. Watch how you see a baby full of life start to grow and grow into a toddler. Once again full of life. Then as they grow more and more and more into a teenager. Problems. A lot less smiles a lot less life. The reason to this is because you finally find out the truth about life. You’re starting to get tired and drained from the routine you follow every day. You get older and older losing more life. You eventually lose yourself. Just like a leaf. You kick and scream trying to escape the sticky strap holding you down onto the window wanting to be free. You want to be happy again. You try and try until you eventually crinkle up and die. Just like a leaf taped to a window.
