Esther says: I'm sad to leave Mistborn Era 1, but it's definitely fun to see the allomancy powers at work in a new steampunk, Western society that's on the riding the wave of industrialization. It's very interesting to see how the lives of real people gets spun into a mix of history, mythology, and religion centuries down the line. Watch out for Wayne, he may just steal your hat!
