Side note: I probably would never have gotten as far into this project as I have without your guys' support!  There is something about this corner of the tumblr community that I have found myself a part of that fosters a strange and important accountability.  It doesn't hurt that you are also a wildly talented group whose work inspires me to keep creating.

Writing/drawing a full length story has been a long-time dream of mine that I couldn't pull off for a long time.  I have a lot of these sorts of projects that are only partially finished.  It turns out that the missing piece was being able to share the process with you guys.

Did an impromptu "art lesson" with one of my daughters at her request. She wanted to draw fish in an aquarium. This is what mine ended up looking like. I tend to draw these sideways so that I can show her how I do certain things. Despite that, I kind of like how this turned out. These "lessons" are more like "let's draw next to one another with some pointers" sessions, and they make me happy. She is 9 years old now, and a true delight.

Leporid Part Two has been coming together much more slowly than I'd like... Work slows down with the cooler weather though, so hopefully I can put more time into it in the coming months.

Made a birthday card for my eldest daughter (a copy of some My Neighbor Totoro concept art). It was the first time in a while that I worked with a physical brush & ink. It felt good, but I sure enjoy the unlimited number of chances to get strokes right when working digitally.
