im just gonna make this rant now since im tired of this happening.
do you ever scroll through fanart of a fandom or character you like and follow people just for the art?
do you just scroll by the original content they post?
do you know how much that hurts the people that post that content? i know a couple of people who put their everything into their original content, but only get a few likes. when they draw fanart, they get a lot of likes.
once they start posting more original content, and less fanart, then you might unfollow because you lost interest.
i get that you followed because of the fanart, but don't just unfollow because they started posting more original content. instead, try to support it. or at the very least just don't make a fuss about it and remember that drawing fanart can get tiring. drawing original content might make the artist happy and not feel stressed.
