Hey guys

This is my new Australian Shepherd, Raptor! (short for Raptor nugget)

I’m going to be training him to be a service dog to alert me of oncoming panic attacks. He’s really a sweetheart and I love him but I really need help supporting him! My parents aren’t paying for ANYTHING so I need to be able to afford training classes and food on my own while still saving up so I can continue to support him in college (yes I do have a job but as someone who is just a few months from 18, more than 9-10 an hour is nearly impossible to achieve)

Please help and donate or reblog! I really need help!

Commisions are open!

I got a new job in the city, but the pay is a couple weeks behind. So before I get my first paycheck I need to be able to afford transportation into the city! By next Tuesday I have to make enough so everything is discounted. I'll categorize the discounts by type.

All prepaid orders of anything sewn or over $50 are discounted by $5

Goal: $0/$60

Traditional art:

Sketches are now $1.50 and will be finished by the end of tonight. Examples will be provided below. And otherwise headshots are $3, fullbodies are now $6, and ref sheets $10. As a reminder, all works can be laminated free of charge and shipped with a small fee!

Sculptures:

Sculptures are all $5 off (other than the keychain) and finished as quickly as possible. ($15 for a keychain, $35 for a small sculpture, $40 for a larger sculpture, $85 for a bust)

Plushies and fursuit items:

I sure do a heck of a lot of sewing. If you were to order a plushie or sewn item then it would most likely be started around the beginning of august or possibly sooner. (My orders are terribly backed up, but you would recieve a discount if you ordered now)

I’m going to start writing a series of “feelings awareness” posts to help people understand others around them.

I hate to see others get hurt and to see the amount of discourse and anger on this website shows that some people do not understand where the other person might be coming from.

The first on my list of disliked groups of people are

Furries

Everybody here knows what a furry is, but what most don’t understand is their feelings as a person.

I’ve found that some of the biggest reasons for a person to be or to become a furry is the desire for

1. Freedom

2. Acceptance

While another reason might just be really liking animals, I have met very few furries who live happy lives. Many have sad home lives, or have a terrible struggle with mental illness, or both. They are just like you, they need coping methods and friends to be surrounded with and they have found it in one of the most accepting communities there are.

Please remember that next time you’re about to insult a pure furry. You are hurting a human who already has it so hard.

(And not all furries like yiff that’s just gross porn. The yiffers are like those in the SnK fandom who ship everybody with Levi at once then draw it (ew))

Also not to mention most fursuiters are just extremely nervous and socially awkward people (like many of you). And they’ve found a way to socialize and express their inner selves without having to show their face or body.

Just remember, step in other peoples’ shoes, try to understand why they are the way they are.
