Just some propaganda on your feeds as to WHY miss Piggy is the obvious winner of the Tumblr sexywoman contest (2025) - no one is doing it like her!!

imagine you worked a job where you had to hold (sometimes really heavy) objects above your head every day for hours, occasionally had to be covered head to toe in heavy clothing while you moved around, constantly nail precise movements, and that you also had to do all this while fitting into small, cramped spaces, and/or bent in awkward positions, positioned at odd angles, and you were sometimes downright unable to see what you were doing and you just had to go at it blindly and hope it turned out right and you didn't mess up and have to start over. and you also had to make it look easy and natural and effortless while you were doing all this. now imagine that some guy comes along, sees the end result of all your work, points to you, and says "yeah all that person did is stand around in a room and talk for a couple hours" and then leaves without saying anything else. that's what it's like whenever someone says that somebody "voices" a muppet

Miss Piggy - The Muppets
Tumblr media
Miss Piggy has not known the touch of another woman, but she did once falsely claim that she was the reason Katy Perry wrote I Kissed A Girl.

Watching the Jim Henson Hour for the first time and I understand the Digit hype
And also, my enjoyment of the key players, Teeth, Rowlf and now Digit, has me noticing the DIFFERENCES in how they play
The most obvious difference is that Teeth usually has some distance between him and the keyboard when playong, while Digit is practically right up leaning on the keyboard while he plays, and Rowlf is somewhere in the middle, he's not very close to the piano but doesn't keep a ton of space between himself and it
It is, incredibly endearing to me

Hi! I made a silly illustration for the speeddraw from last week. Please enjoy! If you're looking for a high res version to print, several Drawfee patreon tiers offer our high res renders for that month and all months prior since we went independent :)

I'm having a bad day so allow me to talk about Jim Henson for a minute.
I've been neck deep in this biography of Jim for a while and here are some of my favorite little bits:
Jim trying acid and being disappointed because it did nothing for him.
Him telling Richard Hunt (playfully) to "Richard, shut up and go away"
He liked the spectacle of getting dressed up to go gambling, and whatever money he won he would spend on lavish trips and vacations for the entire muppet crew
When he was away from his kids, he would make sure to call them before bed every night and was very much so still a huge part of their lives
Jim tossing Ernie on the ground unceremoniously, to which a baffled Caroll cradled Ernie in his arms and told Ernie that "Jim's sorry, he didn't mean that."
The entire section on Emmet Otter's was so brimming with love for the project I barely didn't start crying.
The way Jim would be very quiet most of the time, but if you got him laughing, really laughing, he would cackle until he started crying and then some.
The time he was trying to get a shot that involved a puppet Frank Oz was wearing to get set on fire.
He had an archer shoot an apple off of a puppets head for a commercial, during which Jerry Nelson was right handing and terrified.
Jim ALWAYS wanted and respected Jane's input and feedback, even after they were separated.
