So tell me why I see so many people make “Revive *insert dead bug* with lifeblood!” Aus or “Here are the circumstances and aftermath that allow *insert bug* to live!” Aus when ghosts are canon to Hollow Knight. Like we see and talk to Cloth’s ghost, it ain’t that far a stretch to extend it to other characters

Quirrel returning and being excited at the chance to study the afterlife from a first person perspective. Maybe he finds a way to explore the dream world, and enjoys telling The Knight each little thing he figures out. Maybe Monomon left some weird dream word journal he can find, maybe he finds comfort in it

Tiso awakening as a warrior dream, determined to continue his life’s mission. He’d say some shit like “A true warrior never lets something as pathetic as death stop him!” And challenges The Knight to a proper boss fight. I have this specific idea of the Knight dragging his body and burying him by the Mantis Village so he can train with warriors for as long as he wants.

Characters like Cloth and the Lost Kin already have their canon ghost interact and gain peace, so I don’t got much to say about them, but I think it’d be cool if The Knight could listen to the dreams they absorbed through the dream nail. They could see something fucked up, pull out the dream nail, and go “Sibling you seeing this shit??”

Judas Iscariot is an animated retelling of The New Testament of the Holy Bible, featuring details from the Apocrypha (The "Unofficial" Gospels) with a fresh stylized reinterpretation of the story's core figures. The goal of this project is to illuminate this text for both a religious and non-religious audience, placing it back into the historical context of Jesus’s role as a political figure during the Roman occupation of Judea. This film explores mature themes pertaining to love, devotion, and control. The film is expected to be 15-20 minutes long, depending on how much can be raised with the kickstarter campaign. It is expected to take 1-2 years to finish writing, storyboarding, animating, and painting assets for this project, with an additional period of time devoted to film festival screenings before it is ready for the public.  Judas Iscariot will be the second short film written and directed by Charles Kugler, who has worked in the animation industry for clients like Adult Swim, Cartoon Network, and FOX.
